It’s has been established time and again that actors don’t really enjoy aging onscreen and nor do they like becoming parents to teenagers
But what choice are they left with when the makers decide to take a time leap…
We recently told you that Star Plus’ popular daily soap Saath Nibhaana Saathiya is taking a 10-20 year time leap. Following this news, also came a rumour that Rucha Hasabnis, who plays Raashi Modi is planning to quit the show. The makers are still devising a way to keep her in the serial, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
When Rucha heard these rumours, she said that she has no such plans till now and she likes the way the show has been progressing. She also said that she has no problems if the show is taking a small leap. But this isn’t it a small leap, is it?
Adding to the misery of the makers, we also heard that the other lead actor, Devoleena Bhataacharya playing Gopi Modi is not very keen on continuing with the show post leap. Her reasons? Apparently, she intends to get married and pursue her studies.
According to the makers, the show is indeed taking a leap and mostly, a new set of actors will be cast in the daily soap. Saath Nibhaana Saathiya is indeed going for a full revamp, but will it work or not? Guess only time will tell…
