Bigg Boss 8: The controversial reality show is something that keeps everyone awake late into the night. BB8 became the topic of discussion in almost every social circle. Unlike every year, the makers of the show tried very different things to make it interesting. In fact, they extended the show for a month to pull in more TRPs. It provided drama, entertainment and gave us a reason to watch TV.
Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7: The celebrity dance reality show was par excellence last year. Every performance seemed better than the other. The makers upped the level of performances. Interestingly, for season 7 they brought in ace choreographer Maksim Chmerkovskiy as a fourth judge – a very hot and interesting choice in the panel, don’t you agree?
Splitsvilla 7: The show went for a drastic change in season 7. Instead of getting in newbies, the makers brought celebrity stars who were to be wooed by 13 female contestants. The glamour quotient of the show that we particularly loved was Sunny Leone as the host of the show along with Nikhil Chinapa.
Box Cricket League: It was the first of it’s kind of cricket reality show produced by Marinating Films and Balaji Telefilms. The show brought both men and women to play cricket together in a closed studio, which would then be aired on Sony TV. BCL had drama, action, chaos, fights, romance, singing and dancing – in short it was the complete package.
Khatron Ke Khiladi 5: It was Rohit Shetty’s debut as a host of the action packed show. While the previous seasons of KKK have been a hit, there was something unique about the season hosted by Shetty. It was the first time that KKK had brought in couples in the show – Kushal Tandon and Gauahar Khan – need we say any more?
