The daily soap inspired by the English series Missing had found its hero
24 Frames Production’s Bhairavi Raichura and Nandita Mehra are all set to start work on the yet untitled series. The producers have brought the rights of Gregory Poirier’s TV series Missing starring Ashley Judd, Cliff Curtis and Sean Bean.
After approaching many actors for the lead role, the makers decided to go with the one-time popular actor of Maine Pyaar Kiya fame – Bhagyashree Patwardhan. The other actor who has been signed for this thriller is Eijaz Khan. We had earlier reported about Shabbir Ahluwalia being signed on for the project. By the looks of it, this will be a star studded show. We’ve got three popular names already and a lot more coming up. However, we are still trying to figure out what characters they will be playing. What a mystery!
The story of the show revolves around an ex-CIA agent whose son goes missing. When in search of her son, she gets embroiled in international conspiracy between the CIA and an Interpol agent.
This project by 24 Frames Production surely seems like an ambitious one, we just hope they are able to maintain the standard of the international series. Fingers crossed!
