Indian television’s popular diva tied the knot this weekend
Drashti Dhami got married to her long time beau Neeraj Khemka on Saturday, February 21, 2015. There was media from all over Mumbai waiting to capture the look of the bride, but they were not allowed.
Apparently, the Dhami family banned the media who were standing across the road to catch a glimpse of the bride and groom. Suhasi Dhami (sister-in-law) yelled at the media; even Drashti threatened to break cameras. But the media was resolute and managed to grab a few great photographs of the couple. Wonder why the family including the bride was being so obstinate about these things.
Well we just discovered the real reason behind why the family kept insisting that it was a private function and why they did not want the media to get involved. It seems Drashti has sold the rights of her wedding video to NDTV Good Times’ Band Baajaa Bride. Now that is something we had predicted even before the wedding, right?
Seems like Drashti after all did go the Kim Kardashian way, but she should have planned it better. There were so many people leaking photographs from their mobiles that her intention of keeping it a secret didn’t really go according to plan. Should have been careful girl!
