The show has taken an 11 year leap and the new turn of events has us glued to the television sets just like when the show had first begun
Balika Vadhu has witnessed several changes in both the script and the cast over time. But the show was at its best when Anandi was married as a kid. After over seven years of a successful run, the show has finally back to child marriage but this time it is about Anandi’s daughter Nandini aka Nimboli. I don’t know about you but I have definitely started watching the show again and here’s why I like it now…
-The child actor Gracy Goswami who plays the character of Nimboli is a delight to watch. The young starlet showcases some amazing expressions. I almost fell in love with her when I saw her on the show. Every time she cries, my heart literally breaks.
-The new story revolving around the kids – both Anandi (Toral Rasputra) and Jagya’s (Shashank Vyas) kids is a welcome change from all the married drama and bahu issues.
-With so many new characters there’s certain freshness in BV that I liked. Even the negative characters look interesting. I love to hate them ‘coz they are so spot on with their performance. Introduction of Raageshwari Sachdeva as a widow is an interesting addition too.
The show has a lot of scope to run for another 3-4 years. Let’s hope the makers stick to the child actors.
