It’s no secret that almost every star has a stalker and a few crazy fan experiences – but what we heard from Rajeev the other day really shocked us
This was just after his television days and he had started doing movies when Rajeev Khandelwal was visited by one of his crazy fans. Apparently the actor got a call from a fan claiming to be a research student and she needed a celebrity interview. Rajeev spoke to his manager and told him to find out more about this girl ‘coz he thought something was fishy.
Rajeev’s manager found out that she has been waiting around just to speak to him and her return tickets were booked. So after much advice the actor decided to do the interview in the presence of his manager and other staff. “At first she was normal and asked me general questions. We spoke about a lot of things and it looked genuine, then she told me that she had lied and that there was no research paper. She told me that she wants to get married to me. I told her I am already married, but she did not even listen to me. She told me there are many celebrities who’ve married twice so why can’t I. I really got freaked out. She just refused to leave; she gave me the muh dikhayi rasam things and stuff you offer during wedding rituals. It was freaky,” said Rajeev.
Apparently, the crazy fan was ready to become Rajeev’s second wife. She insisted that she will not tell anyone about this and how it will be their own little secret. But the story doesn’t stop there. Apparently, a few days later Rajeev got a call from another fan who claimed that she has stomach cancer and some defect in her leg and her only dream to meet him. “Again I got a call from this fan who told me about her medical conditions and how she wanted to meet me. I agreed to it, but told my manager and staff to remain close. She came, met me, we spoke and then she suddenly tells me that she lied. She claims that she was the sister of this previous female fan who insisted on marrying me. I lost my head; I asked her how she can let her sister do something so stupid? She wants to marry a married man? Had I been her sister, I’d have slapped her. But she calmly responded that I should marry her anyway. Some people are really crazy and freak me out.”
Clearly, Rajeev has some crazy fans out there. With his new show – Reporters coming up on Sony TV on Monday, the craziness is just going to increase by ten folds.
