The Dil Dhadakne Do actress stops a goat act…
Anushka Sharma is flying high these days thanks to her two films that are all set to hit the marquee. While Bombay Velvet‘s retro look is garnering her credits, the uber cool avatar in Dil Dhadakne Do must have added a few more fans to her list. But the news we got from the sets of a reality show will make her a darling of the animal rights activists. Apparently, she wasn’t convinced about an act involving a goat and so, she didn’t let it happen!
As a part of an act, a goat was supposed to be shown as one who can drink cola. It was an animal act and the stage was set. Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor were at the show to promote their film Bombay Velvet. When the actress got to know about the act, she put her foot down. According to a source from the set, Anushka wasn’t pleased at all. Her point was how does anyone know that the cola is not affecting the goat. Just because it can’t express, doesn’t mean it can’t feel.
Quite obviously, that particular act was taken off the charts. We really love Anushka for taking a stand here. Somebody should and somebody did.
