Shooting for sports and action sequences is not an easy task!
Diya Aur Baati Hum is currently following a kabaddi track where Sooraj aka Anas Rashid aims at winning in order to get the money he needs to start his own business venture. We know how Anas has been training really hard to get his kabaddi moves right. In fact, he’s also been taking tips from professional players who are also featuring on the show to maintain the authenticity of the sport. While shooting for a kabaddi sequence recently, the actor hurt himself severely but that did not lower his spirits as Rashid continued working anyway.
Reportedly, the doctor who was called on set to examine Anas, had advised him a rest for 10 days but the actor thought it was not right to put the entire schedule on hold and so he got back to work right away.
Confirming the news to a popular tabloid, the actor said, “We were shooting a crucial scene and unfortunately I had a bad fall. The doctor said I needed to rest but how could I delay the entire shoot? It affects the schedule of the entire cast and I don’t want the show to suffer at my cost.”
SPOILER: The upcoming episodes of the show will see a lot of team politics after Sooraj is named captain of the team. The team ends up performing extremely bad due to all the internal differences and team-mates accuse Sooraj of not being a team player and playing only for himself and the money.
