People who have been thinking about who will get eliminated can rest assured now. All the six contestants are safe including, Puneet Issar, Dimpy Mahajan and Sonali Raut. There is no elimination this week and no one is going to be evicted.

It seems that Salman Khan was having a bit of fun with the contestants. He clarified that the whole exercise was done so as to put things in perspective for the contestants. They should get to know as to where they stand in the eyes of other fellow contestants. The task proved to be a great exercise especially for Puneet Issar, who was nominated lastly for elimination by the others. However, just before leaving the house, Salman called him back and gave him the big surprise that he is not going to be out and he still has one more week to stay inside the glass walled house.

So go ahead BollywoodLifers, enjoy a good nights sleep as no one gets eliminated this week and Salman Khan pulls everyone’s legs with a funny prank in his most wittiest avatar.

The Prime Minister joined in Rajat Sharma’s celebrations

Aap Ki Adalat celebrated the completion of 21 years of being on air today. The special event was attended by the who’s who of politics, sports, film industry and more. All these guests have, at least once, appeared on the show and one among these was India’s most popular Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.

After his grand entry on the show, Modi was thanked for being a part of the show. It was informed by Mr Rajat that the episode with NM had broken all records of rating garnering unmatched TRPs AKA had ever witnessed in all its 21 years. It was also the most viewed episode on YouTube.

Mr Modi then honoured the crowd a small speak followed by the President of India, Mr Pranab Mukherjee.

The three Khans were seen sharing the stage at the 21st anniversary special episode of the show

Aap Ki Adalat celebrated the completion of 21 years of being on air today. The special event was attended by the who’s who of politics, sports, film industry and more. All these guests have, at least once, appeared on the show and Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan were among these.

The host of tonight’s show, Sonu Nigam, invited Shah Rukh Khan on stage who inturn asked Salman Khan to join him. The two sure scared Rajat with their demeanour and grilled him with a lot of questions. Some funny and some even more so. Salman started the questionnaire asking Rajat why he has his own court and does he not trust the country’s law system. When Rajat replied that his adalat is much faster, Salman asked him to take up all his pending cases too so that he can save up on a lot of court trips. How convenient!

Shah Rukh even went on to asked Rajat the secret of his glowing skin. Rajat very smartly replied that he does not do the two things (drinking and smoking) that Shah Rukh and Salman do.

The two Khans then invited the third member of their Khan trio, Aamir, on stage and the three entertained the audience with their Khans Ki Adalat. And quite a show they put up!

Aap Ki Adalat celebrated the completion of 21 years of being on air today. The special event was attended by the who’s who of politics, sports, film industry and more. All these guests have, at least once, appeared on the show and among these were film industry’s super stars, Shah Rukh khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan.

After grilling Rajat Sharma in a round of Khans Ki Adalat, where they beat Rajat in his own game, the three presented Mr Sharma with a special gift each. Shah Rukh Khan gifted him a lungi (remember his Lungi dance), Aamir Khan gifted him a transistor (reckon his PK poster) and Salman Khan gifted him a towel with which the four did the iconic towel dance step from Mujhse Shaadi Karogi.

Well the Khans really entertained every one with their act together.

Mallika shot the episode with Kapil recently

Kapil Sharma, who is seen flirting with almost all female celebrities on his popular show, Comedy Nights With Kapil, has a reason to smile for Mallika Sherawat will be the next guest on his show.

“Yes, Mallika is coming to the show. But she is not coming with an agenda. She has no movie releasing and she’s just coming to have some fun,” a source was quoted by a portal.

And the sexy siren had quite a fun time with Bitoo Sharma and his crazy family, which was quite evident from her tweet. “#ComedyNightsWithKapil was great fun:) @KapilSharmaK9,” Mallika tweeted.

Mallika‘s episode will go on-air the week after Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol’s episode. SRK and Kajol will appear on CNWK this weekend to celebrate the completion of 1,000 weeks run of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge in Maratha Mandir.

While we are desperately waiting to see Raj and Simran on Kapil’s show, Mallika who is known for her bindaas attitude will also be something to watch out for.

A new member has been added to the star cast of television’s popular show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. Tell us what you thought of Karishma Sharma’s role!

Karan Patel and Divyanka Tripathi aka Raman and Ishita’s show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein has witnessed an interesting twist. The story line is currently revolving around Mihika (Mihika Verma) where Raman and Ishita are trying to prove her as innocent. It so happened that Ashok (Sangram Singh) who was to marry Shagun (Anita Hassanandani), spiked Mihika’s drink and made it look like she spent the night with him, in order to break off his marriage with Shagun.The truth of it all is that Ashok and Mihika never spent the night, but the former made it look so with the help of Raina, played by Karishma Sharma, the new entrant in the show! The actress gained fame though her role in Pavitra Rishta and will now be seen in YHM.

The beauty is playing the culprit responsible for Mihika’s tragic incident and is also, madly in love with Bala! Raina currently is emotionally blackmailing Bala in the plot, and the latter is convincing her to tell everyone the truth.

Where Raman and Ishita have already met Raina and convinced her to reveal the truth, Bala is trying her luck with the same. But Raina unfortunately remains adamant on hiding the dirty little secret unless given something in return from Bala (Don’t need to spell it out for you!)

The Bigg Boss 8 contestant’s dad is cool with whatever decisions his daughter takes…

The growing closeness between the 35-year-old Diandra Soares and 27-year-old Gautam Gulati in the Bigg Boss house this season, hasn’t gone down well with the latter’s family. However, Diandra’s father Benedict Soares, who retired as a hydraulic specialist and is a social worker, has no problem with his daughter’s new beau.

What are your thoughts on Diandra and Gautam getting close, while in the house?

I have no idea what’s happening between them. Like every one else, I can only see it. In any case, that’s up to her. Diandra is a grown-up girl, an adult and knows what she is doing. And no, as a family, we have no problem. Also, it’s a show.

Are you aware that Gautam’s family is not happy with the relationship?

If Gautam’s family is not happy, it’s their opinion. Look, everybody has their opinion. We stay in Mumbai and it’s a city where anything can happen. Also, this has happened inside the house, so it’s become a big thing. What would you do if it was outside?

Your take on Gautam as a person?

He comes across as a quiet person, who only reacts strongly when somebody provokes him. I don’t know what his intentions are because I have never met him. I don’t know whether he is in the show to have fun, play a game, etc. In previous seasons, we have seen contestants forming relationships which fizzled out once they were out. I don’t know whether Diandra and Gautam will continue or go back to their houses when they are out!

Is Diandra the way she is coming across in the show — bold, frank and carefree?

Yes, that’s exactly the way she lives. She is not projecting an image. She is natural and normal.

Apart from Gautam, she is bonding with Puneet Issar…

Yes, it’s a show. What is Bigg Boss, after all? It’s a game about surviving inside the house. She knows it. She is also not the kind to be influenced by anybody though she will listen to everything. At home, also, she is like that. Ultimately, she knows what she wants and does accordingly.

Did you expect her to go bald in the house?

No. I was shocked to see her like that, though it’s not the first time she has gone bald. She shaved her head earlier at a fashion show in Goa in 1999 and twice after that. Yet, I don’t know what prompted her to do it this time. Since she is in the fashion business she does different things to her hair, cuts it short, colours it, etc, but something must have happened inside for her to suddenly go bald. She is a little moody.

What do you think are her chances of winning?

I feel she will win. She is very strong — when someone attacks her she gives it back the same way. What is there is there, right is right. She is a survivor.

Sonali has been trying very hard to get linked to Upen and Gautam

A very smart person once rightly said, “Finding love is never easy.” and Sonali Raut is one housemate in Bigg Boss 8 who aptly relates to this saying.

We recently witnessed Sonali confessing her feelings to Gautam Gulati. This happened during a conversation with Gautam when he tells Sonali that I like you, to which she responded by saying – “You like me but I love you.”

Another such incident happened during the a task for this week when Gautam and Sonali got some time to spend with each other as they went shopping for the luxury budget outside the Bigg Boss house. Gautam while sharing his shopping experience with Puneet Issar and Dimpy Ganguly stated that, Sonali asked him if he will date her. In fact, she also asked him what’s going on between him and Diandra Soares.

Dimpy who was amazed and extremely intrigued to know the whole incident asked what was Gautam’s response to this. Gautam explained that he changed the topic telling Sonali let the show get over then we will see. He also claimed that Sonali tried to get cozy with him and tried to leave a lipstick mark on his face while coming back in the car. Woah!

Gautam further added saying that Sonali is scared to get evicted from the show and so she is trying to play a romantic track to come into the limelight.

And proving his theory right, Raut was seen challenging Upen Patel to kiss him in Karishma Tanna’s presence during the weekend episode with Salman Khan. But, Upen, after preparing for the mega event for a considerable amount of time, plants a kiss on her cheek.

Diya Aur Baati Hum starring Deepika Singh and Anas Rashid seems to have lost its marbles. While viewers seem unhappy with the prolonged hijack plot in the show, the recent one involving Zakir (Neil Bhatt) posing as Rajkumar (Gaurav Sharma), is turning out to be a bizarre idea along with being far-fetched to say the least. Let us break it down for you:The plot in the show right now

Maya (Gurdeep Kohli) has agreed to release some passengers from the plane hijacked by her, only on the condition that Sandhya (Deepika Singh) would release May’s brother Rajkumar from jail. Mind you, this is the same Rajkumar who is a terrorist and was responsible for planting a bomb in the Rathi family’s neighbourhood. Sandhya in order to come up with a plan of saving the passengers without having to give up Rajkumar, uses Zakir as the trump card. What does she do? She convinces Zakir to put on a “mask” of Rajkumar, and pose as him for Maya! But much to Sandhya’s despair, Maya has figured out that Rajkumar(played by Zakir) is not her brother after all. The truth is exposed, and the passengers are in deep trouble again.

How the plot is similar to Face Off

In Face Off, John Travolta plays an FBI agent (Sean Archer) who is trying to track down a terrorist (Caster Troy), played by Nicolas Cage. He plans to capture Caster who is responsible for planting a bomb in the city, and the details are with his brother Pollux. In an ambush by Archer, Castor gets hurt and is in a coma, before he is captured by Archer. In order to get details of the bomb from Castor’s brother Pollux, Archer undergoes a face transplant surgery, and poses as Castor. The story continues from here.

In Diya Aur Baati Hum, Zakir plays a police officer, whose aim is to capture Rajkumar, a wanted terrorist (who like Castor, planted a bomb). Rajumar is Maya’s brother and has to be handed over to her, for the safety of the passengers. In order to trick her, Zakir wears a mask and poses as Rajkumar.

Though the similarities have blurred lines, they follow a similar plot nonetheless. It’s not like the Television and film industry hasn’t copied plots before. But the bizarre manner in which Diya Aur Baati  Hum has put forth this one, is mindless! Where it made sense in Face Off, it fails to do the same in the TV series!

Durga has finally succeeded in getting Sakshi’s hidden tape. How will she use it in her favour? Read on to find out!

In the last episode, we saw Durga (Sanjeeda Sheikh) and Akash following Sakshi (Simone Singh), and observing her entering an orphanage. They wondered on why she had visited the place. Further, they heard her playing the piano, and concluded that the tape must be hidden under it or inside it. Meanwhile Sakshi opened the secret vault with the musical notes, and was relieved to see the tape inside. The next day, Durga was seen visiting the orphanage in a disguised form and entering the room with the piano in it. The episode ended with her coming across the hidden tape and taking it.

In the upcoming episode, we will see Durga and Akash watching the tape. They will be joined by Dev (Bhuvnesh Mann) and the three will be shocked to see Rajnath (Ayub Khan) murdering Dev’s father Arnav! Dev will be furious and will vouch to figure out what led Rajnath to kill his father.

Will Dev confront Rajnath directly or will he play a sly little game of his own? How will Durga use the tape to seek revenge from Sakshi? Stay tuned to find out!

Itti Si Khushi is essentially a story about a girl, who wakes up from a coma after 12 years and attempts to deal with the changes which have taken place while she was away. In a Television era where plots involve joint families and their troubles, this show starring Smriti Kalra (Neha Agarwal) and Anuj Sachdeva (Aman Goyal) was said to bring something different to the table. Reports suggest that the show, however, will see its end on January 2.The reason for the same is stated to be low TRP’s. The show couldn’t garner the kind of viewership it hoped for since its inception. A source revealed, “The numbers did not manage to impress in spite of lot of sub-plot changes. The team has been informed of the same and the shooting will be wrapped up on 25 December.”

The star cast is disappointed to learn about the failure of the show. Lead actor Anuj said,” Yes, I am highly disappointed as the show had a lot to offer. I feel the channel should have given some time for it to grow on people’s mind. It is really sad that such a good show had to face this situation.”

The show was revolving around the plot of a union being shaped up between Neha and Aman. Like all good things, looks like this show must come to an end too! Don’t be let down BollywoodLifers, when one ‘show’ closes, another one opens, right?

Abhi has threatened Pragya to stay back or else he will leak the MMS video. What will Pragya do? Read on to know more!

In the last episode, we saw Pragya (Sriti Jha) walking down the stairs with her bags packed. She said she was ready to leave Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) and the house. Abhi noticed Pragya with the bags and stated that she would not be going anywhere. Pragya objected, saying that she has the right to leave after what he had done. Abhi retaliates by blackmailing her with the MMS clip. He says that if she chooses to leave, he would leak their MMS video. Pragya pointed out the obvious that his reputation would be at stake as well. The episode ended with Abhi stating that he is ready to risk his image by leaking the MMS video in order to make Pragya stay.

In the upcoming episode, we will see Abhi continuing to threaten Pragya in order to make her stay back. She will continue to refute, saying that he has no right to either blackmail her or force her to stay. He goes on to warn her that he will, in deed, go ahead with his plan and that he does not care how much it will harm their reputation.

Not so long time ago, Jennifer issued an official statement confirming her separation from Karan. And now it’s KSG, who has finally broken his silence on the relationship (or lack of it) he shares with Jenny

It’s been quite sometime since the industry has been abuzz with the rumours of an impending divorce between Karan Singh Grover and Jennifer Winget. And now Karan’s answer to the questions may finally put an end to all the questions by their curious fans who had been wondering to know the facts.

The Alone actor took to Twitter to confirm that he and Jennifer are indeed separating and are soon going to be divorced.

Karan tweeted, “For all those who are concerned, you might have heard that Jennifer and I have separated and will soon be getting divorced. I just wanted to confirm that it’s true. The decision has been mutually agreed upon and the reasons are too personal to share. What happens between only two people know…all else…merely speculations and assumptions…nothing more…this much I wanted to share…thank you always for all your love…” (sic)

Few days back even Jennifer issued an official statement admitting about the end of her marriage with KSG. ”Jennifer is currently shooting for Kunal Kohli’s film in London and has requested not to be disturbed. Jennifer has also requested for implicit privacy at this stage in her life,” the actress’s spokes-person said.

Although the TV couple has chosen to remain mum about the reason behind the split, we had earlier reported that it is because of KSG’s philandering ways that called for trouble in their paradise. For those of you who don’t know, they tied the knot in 2012.

We caught the new trailers of Gautam Rode’s new daily soap Mahakumbh, which will soon replace Devon Ke Dev Mahadev. The show is the story of secrets that happen during the largest gathering in the world that takes place in Allahabad.

Gautam Rode, who plays the character of Rudra is wanted for slaughter because of a secret that connects his father and him. He is not yet aware what the secret is but he knows that he is not like everyone else. Rudra possess massive strength and speed compared to a normal person, but is unaware of the purpose of his powers.

The promo of Mahakumbh looks larger than life and creates a sense of mystery that we desperately want to solve. This fantasy fiction revolves around the enigma of the Maha Kumbh mela. While the story is a figment of someone’s imagination, we can’t deny the curiosity it invokes. However, we just hope that people have no issues regarding the creative license the makers have taken to create this show.

Rode does an impressive job as Rudra – but somehow his angry young man image doesn’t go down too well with us. We like him more as the chocolate hero that he is. Seema Biswas, who plays Rudra’s Mai does an impressive job. Siddharth Nigam, who plays the childhood version of Rudra gives an astounding performance. Well this is what we gather from the recent trailers we saw. Let’s hope the show matches the hype it has been creating.

The two handsome hunks of Bigg Boss 8 got into a war of words again. But why?

As a part of the recent luxury budget task in Bigg Boss 8, contestants have been divided into two teams and each member has to make calls to their celebrity friends from the outside world and invite them for a party that they have to organise.

However, things didn’t go quite well when Upen Patel and Gautam Gulati were calling up their friends and the duo got into a dispute.

A few days back, a jar of Nutella was sent by Bigg Boss inside the house, but Gautam was not willing to share it with anyone. And this didn’t go down too well with Upen. So a simple mention of the Nutella episode agitated Upen and he yelled at Gautam pointing out that his attitude was so wrong.

As the two were having a conversation, Upen got more upset when Gautam said Upen has a language problem. But Gautam quickly clarified that he didn’t mean to make him feel inferior, but again to have some fun as he considers Upen to be a good friend.

Not too sure if Upen felt better after listening to all that, because immediately after the two came out, Upen looked angry as he bitched about Gautam’s behaviour with Praneet Bhatt and Pritam Singh, who supported him saying there was nothing new to that and that they couldn’t help much with his nature.

The actor is worried about the TRPs of the show in his absence

Actor Karanvir Bohra, who is hospitalised for dengue, can’t wait to get back to work, says wife Teejay Sidhu.
The 32-year-old, who is currently seen on Qubool Hai, was admitted to a hospital on Friday.  ”Upon his return from South Africa, Karanvir was unable to shoot for more than three hours as he started feeling weak. On consulting a doctor and subsequent medical tests, we realised that he is suffering from dengue and needs to be admitted  immediately,” Teejay said in a statement.

Karanvir is so passionate about his work that when he was told about the diagnosis he got upset. Teejay added: “He is a workaholic actor, he was continuously shooting for Qubool Hai besides two other shows. The stress of shooting long hours and current dengue plaguing the city affected him with serious consequences.”

“When he learnt he is suffering from dengue, he said ‘I hate to be in the hospital, my show’s TRP will suffer if I won’t be there’,” she added.

Jab They Met

Karan Singh Grover and Jennifer Winget first met on the sets of Kasautii Zindagi Kay in 2005. On the sets of the Balaji show they were just friends as Karan was already seeing someone at the time.

Jab Dil Mile

KSG and Jennifer then came across each other again on the sets of Dill Mill Gayye in 2006. Karan played the character of Dr Armaan and Shilpa Anand was roped in opposite him as Dr Riddhima. She was later replaced by Sukirti Kandpal and then Jennifer Winget took over the character. The two hit it off immediately and viewers loved their onscreen chemistry. Sparks flew between them but Karan was dating Shraddha Nigam at the time.

Conflicts

In 2008, Karan married Shraddha and during his Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa stint supposedly also began dating Nicole Alvares – his choreographer. Apparently, Jennifer couldn’t handle his philandering way and refused to get into a relationship with him.

Rumours

Shraddha broke off her wedding with Karan when she heard rumours of her husband with Nicole and Jennifer. According to sources, his relationship did not last long as the actor was already smitten by Jennifer. By the end of the show, the couple got serious about each other and decided to make it legally binding.

Wedding Plan

Karan broke up with Nicole sometime in 2011 and began courting Jennifer again. By 2012, the couple decided to get hitched in a simple ceremony without letting the world know. Well stories like these hardly remain secret.

Two Year Bliss

Post his wedding, Karan Singh Grover was a changed man. His drinking reduced, he became more responsible and reliable workwise. Life became much better. Initially, Jennifer refused to accept the separation. In fact the actress tweeted that all is well between her and Karan, but the truth was far from it. A week back, her spokes person gave the statement that the couple had moved on and that she is not to be disturbed. Last night, Karan took to twitter and confirmed the divorce but refused to give any reasons.

Abhi is both confused and determined about getting Pragya out of his life, but will he succeed remains the big question

Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) tries to threaten Suresh (Faisal Rashid) to marry Pragya (Sriti Jha) so that he can get rid of his wife once and for all. While Abhi and Pragya have signed the divorce papers, the later has not asked any property as alimony; instead she has requested him to let her meet Daadi whenever she can.

Abhi believes that this is another one of Pragya’s ruse to keep him trapped in the marriage. Abhi lays down the condition that Pragya should marry her lover Suresh before she leaves his house or he will publicise the MMS, which will kill her mother. Initially she objects but succumbs to the pressure and her love for her husband. When Abhi meets Suresh, the latter objects to the marriage and swears to not ruin Pragya’s life.

On the other hand, Tanu (Leena Jumani) and Aaliya (Shikha Singh) celebrate at the prospect of getting rid of Pragya forever. Pragya prays that Suresh shouldn’t agree to Abhi’s demands and say yes to the wedding. However, our sources inform that Suresh will fold under pressure and accept Abhi’s offer.

Day 79 was filled with surprises with the new luxury task creating a lot of drama in the house

Luxury task – Party To Banti Hai

The day started with Bigg Boss introducing a new luxury task through captain Karishma Tanna. The task called Party To Banti Hai divided the house into two teams of four members each. Both the team are asked to throw a party and call their famous celebrity friends to the party. The team which throws a better party will be adjudged as winners. Though Karishma will not take part in the task, she gets to check and approve the guest list.

Puneet and Pritam team captains

Puneet and Pritam are named as captains of each team by Bigg Boss. While Puneet chooses Diandra, Gautam and Ali in his team, Pritam chooses Upen, Sonali and Praneet. Dimpy is asked to be a waiter at the two parties which doesn’t go down well with Dimpy.

Dimpy and Karishma argue

Seeing the sunken face of Dimpy, Upen offers to trade places with her and become the waiter, but Karishma doesn’t allow it to happen. Dimpy and Karishma get on a heated argument  as Dimpy points out that Karishma being the captain doesn’t even wants to listen to her.

Celebrity list is ready

After a lot of consultation and arguments, the list approved by Karishma Tanna gets ready. Karishma plays tough task master as she rejects a lot of names from the suggested list, which pisses off the contestants.

Calling the guests

Neeraj Dheer, Sajid Wajid, RJ Malishka, Ramesh Taurani, Suneel Darshan, Rahul Mahajan, Sambhavana Seth, Kamal Sadanah, Ajaz Khan,  Gurmeet Choudhary, Kashmira Shah, Arpit Runka, Vindu Dara Singh are few of the guests invited to the party at Big Boss house. Now it will be interesting to see how many of these guests turn up at Lonavala at Big Boss house.

Gautam pisses off Karishma

The fight over food never gets old in the Bigg Boss house. And it was Gautam this time who tested Karishma’s patience as he hid the jar of chicken away from Karishma. The hot headed Karishma called Gautam’s antics as cheap and not funny.

Finally the estranged couple will come face to face after 15 years

Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar currently showcases Ragini (Pallavi Kulkarni Nerurkar) gearing up for her daughter Nishi’s (Rhea Sharma) wedding.Unfortunately for Ragini, Nishi wants her father to be part of the wedding ceremonies and invites him without her mother’s consent.

Neil K (Ronit Roy) decides to come back to India from New York to attend his daughter’s wedding in tow with his kids. He informs Ragini and for the first time in 15 years they come face to face. Obviously this creates an awkward feeling between the two as they are transported back in time to how they left things when they parted.

Both, taken aback by each other’s presence, greet with an awkward silence. Seeing him after such a long time, Ragini does not know how to react and is conscious of her appearance. Going through a mixed bag of emotions, their meeting brings back all the memories that they both had tried to suppress over the years. However, Neil categorically informs his former wife that she has to stay away from his kids and keep the pact they made 15 years back.
