Salman Khan and the Hero actor duo of Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty appeared on the Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded sets to promote their films yesterday. The show, which will be aired on Sunday, saw many surprises and fun. The show started with a prank call to Salman Khan, followed by a few comic comments by Salman and a scintillating dance performance by Sooraj and Athiya. But, the highlight of the show was when Salman Khan turned a choreographer for the Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and Hero team.

Salman Khan taught Karan Johar, Manish Paul, Ganesh Acharya, Lauren Gottlieb, Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty his signature step from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. He was seen teaching them and making them dance to the tunes of Sajan Ji Ghar Aaye. This whole sequence will be a part of the show too.

Colors is about to see a brand new show, produced by Ekta Kapoor titled Naagin. BollywoodLife has learnt that actresses Mouni Roy and Adaa Khan have been roped in for the upcoming series. As per recent reports, Mouni will be seen as a positive Naagin whereas Adaa will be seen as the negative one. We are excited to see these two beauties together on the small screen! So will the show have male leads as well? We hear that actors Mrunal Jain, Ravish Desai, Kinshuk Mahajan and Vipul Gupta are being considered for the parts opposite Mouni and Adaa. Reports suggest that its mostly Mrunal or Kinshuk who will be roped in for the show.

As we all know, Mrunal became a popular household name with his show Uttaran where he starred opposite Tina Dutta. Ravish on the other hand was seen in Satrangi Sasural, followed by Kinshuk who became popular with his show Tum Aise Hi Rehna and Vipul who was seen in TV show Meri Bhabhi.

Kinshuk when asked to comment on his role told a portal saying,” “Nothing has been finalised, so can’t really talk about it.”

After Irfan Pathan’s sudden exit, the organisers decide to offload two more contestants…

Yes, you heard it right and it may come as a SHOCK but this Sunday you will witness multiple eliminations on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded. If Radhika Madan’s elimination was not enough, the organizers have decided to offload two more contestants following Irfan Pathan’s decision to leave the show.

On Sunday, Ashish Chowdhry and Subhreet Kaur will be eliminated from the starry dance reality show. Indeed a SHOCKING move by the organisers. Last week only, Subhreet Kaur had danced on the prosthetic leg given to her by the Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa family and the performance was also widely appreciated. Though, all three contestants weren’t top contenders, they had a good following and hence their ouster has come as a surprise to many.

As a source close to the show mentions, “After Irfan Pathan’s decision to quit, the organisers decided to make the show a little more interesting and conduct multiple eliminations. You will see Irfan Pathan, Ashish Chowdhry and Subhreet Kaur leave the show on Sunday.”

Looks like we have more surprises lined up in the coming weeks. Grapevine has been rife with rumours of the actress having a tiff with the makers

Starry tantrums are a part and parcel of telly town. From extravagant demands to delaying shoot schedules, we’ve seen them all. Even then, it is a big thing if an actor/actress walks out of a shoot leaving it midway. So it came as a shock to us when we heard about Pratyusha Banerjee leaving shoot of her popular Colors’ show, Sasural Simar Ka, midway. According to the recent rumours, Pratyusha was shooting for a suicide scene when things got really out of hand and she left.

However, Pratyusha has denied the rumours outright. While talking to BollywoodLife, when asked about the walkout Pratyusha said, “What rubbish! Nothing of this sort ever happened. These are all rumours that have no truth in them.”

According to the current track, Pratyusha‘s character Mohini and her mother who are witches, will hang themselves in the Bhardwaj house. This lead to speculations of Mohini’s character to come to an end. Guess, that’s what started the tiff rumours too. However, we just found out that the character is no where close to coming to an end.

Since Mohini and her mother are daayan’s they cannot die by hanging themselves. It is just a trap that they’ve laid for Simar and her family. Now that they are dead for the world, no one can bother them anymore, not even the police. They will now get even more evil and all hell will break loose on the Bhardwaj family.

Bittoo’s family will soon play host to the Welcome Back cast

Now that Kapil Sharma is back to his comedy stint on Colors, Comedy Nights With Kapil, the show is back to its original glory. There is no denying the fact that the man is ridiculously hilarious and can get you rolling down your seat in just a few seconds. And to double up the funny game, we have Anil Kapoor, John Abraham and Shruti Haasan visiting Bitoo Sharma’s madhouse very soon. The trio will be seen making an appearance on the show to promote their upcoming film, Welcome Back. The team hasn’t started the TV promotions of their film yet and from what we’ve heard, CNWK is going to be their first spot.

Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film is a sequel to his super comic 20oy film, Welcome which starred Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in the lead. Apart from Anil, Nana Patekar and Psresh Rawal from the original cast have also been retained. The film is slated to hit screens on September 4 and from what we’ve seen in the trailer, this one seems to be a great laughter ride too.

 The lad, who is popular for his roles in Saraswatichandra and Mahakumbh rang in his birthday with an intimate get together with his close friends. The list included his bestie Nigaar Khan and her sister Gauahar Khan, along with other popular TV actors such as Ravi Dubey, Karan Wahi etc. We have come across pictures of the birthday boy from his bash and looks like Mr Rode had some great fun. The estranged couple can just not catch a break!

So far on Suhani Si Ek Ladki, we saw that Yuvraj (Sahil Mehta) has decided to find out the reason behind Suhani (Rajshri Rani Pandey) signing the divorce papers. But he can’t understand where to start until he finds out that the next day is Teej. So he decided to buy a gift for Suhani. However, he might just be in for a very rude shock. We had earlier informed you that Suhani’s mother will force her to marry Rohan and well, tomorrow’s the day. After returning from the pooja, Suhani’s mother returns home upset by the fact that Suhani is maintaining a fast even though she’s not with her husband. She finally asks her to agree to get married to Rohan. That’s when Yuvraj comes in.

Now the twist is that instead of giving up, Yuvraj will fight for Suhani this time. Like we informed before, Suhani’s father will present Yuvraj with a challenge to prove himself worthy of Suhani and to prove Rohan wrong. But the challenge will not go on indefinitely. Yuvraj has just 5 days in hand to prove his worth.

Looks like Gayatri’s life is about to get sorted soon!

According to the latest update on Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani, looks like life is going to become a lot better for Gayatri (Drashti Dhami). We know how the poor girl is being forced to marry a 56-year old man. While her family is hell bent on going ahead with the marriage, Gayatri is upset for reasons more than one… Not only is she not happy with the groom, she’s also in love with Ranaji (Siddhant Karnick). So she writes a letter to him informing him about the same. However, the servers hand the letter to Rajmata and she finds out that Gayatri is being forcefully married. That give Rajmata (Anita Raj) the solution to all her troubles.

In the upcoming episode, Rajmata will call Govind Seth to the Raj mahal and tell him that she can give him something that no money can buy him… his daughter’s life and happiness. Rajmata will promise Seth that she’ll get Ranaji married to Gayatri as a repayment of their debts.

Obviously, Gayatri who assumes that Ranaji loves her back, is elated with the news. Ranaji, however, will only be succumbing to pressure of saving his kingdom by agreeing to marry Gayatri. We wonder how will the girl react when she finds out that the marriage was forced upon?

Well looks like Abhi and Pragya will be back to square one! However, this time around their battle is more murkier than before. When Abhi, Tanu and Aaliya first came together to fight Pragya, they were fighting for Aaliya’s love, Purab. A mistaken identity case, Abhi married Pragya thinking she was the one who lured Purab. However, on finding out that it was Bulbul, their collective plan bombed. Soon after Abhi realised his big mistake and started developing feelings for his wife. Pragya’s innocence and honesty made him fall head over heels in love with his biwi. But then fate had other plans and Tanu walked in claiming she was pregnant. Pragya decides to sacrifice her love and make life simple for Abhi. However, on finding out the truth about Aaliya and Tanu she decides to take a different approachards life.

Pragya changes her whole avatar, she becomes a bold and beautiful and decides to beat the villains in Abhi’s life. Pragya pretends to be more interested in Abhi’s property and even comes with papers that support her claim. Tanu is very nervous and confronts Abhi. She asks Abhi why he is not reacting to all the drama that Pragya has created. Abhi is silent, however when he speaks up he reveals that he will not let anybody take away his belongings.

Get ready to see something truly SHOCKING on the upcoming episode!

In the last episode, we saw Manik(Parth Samthaan) performing at the talent hunt. He was surprised when the rest of Fab 5 members joined him on stage and the group ended up winning the talent hunt! Fab 5 continued to perform but their act was interrupted when Harshad(Abhishek Malik) let lose a heavy fixture on stage, as ordered by Nyonika(Kishwer Merchantt). The object ended up falling on Manik and injuring him. Later, Manik woke up at the hospital and was hugged by Nandini(Niti Taylor). Nynonika lost her cool and lashed out at Harshad for trying to kill her son. The latter stated that he was only following orders. Nyonika stated that she wished to keep away from him to which Harshad replied that if she decided to shun him out, he will report to the police about her evil plans against Manik. Aryaman invited Fab 5 to his place for dinner but Dhruv chose to keep away as he couldn’t face Manik. Aryaman(Karan Jotwani) warned Nyonika to keep away from him and the episode ended on shocking note when she revealed that Aryaman’s sister Soha is alive!

Gear up for a shocking episode coming your way. We will see Aryaman hosting the dinner party for Fab 5. Harshad on the other hand will be attacked by a girl, who we are guessing is Soha and she will be coming back.  Manik and Cabir will be seen entering a car which will have a time bomb. Who planted it there, is a mystery. Right when Nyonika is about to ask Manik and Cabir to get out of the car, it BLOWS up!

Ishani will sign the divorce papers! Yes, and that too coz Ranveer threatens her that if she will not leave him he will kill himself. Which means that Ritika has succeeded in beating Ishani in this game and her 7-day challenge. Whoever said that God is always on the right side might be shaken after seeing this show. Guess, a baddie like Ritika not only gets away with murdering multiple people, but she also succeeds when her own plans backfire. Looks like being bad is really good.

So, while Ishani tries to explain to Ranveer about Ritika’s vicious ways she ends up revealing that she was faking her memory loss. On realising that Ishani took him for a ride, RV asks her to leave him and his house immediately. He even tells her that he wants a divorce from her asap. Ishani says that she will not leave him ever and that she had only come back to RV’s life to save him from Ritika. But Ranveer is mourning Ritika’s unborn baby’s death and in an angry state he tells Ishani that if she does not sign the divorce papers he will commit suicide.

Abhishek stated that since she had had a child out of wedlock and had married a guy out of her community,the people back in her home town were angry with her. He revealed that they were looking for her in order to kill her. Sarika stated that she had come to Delhi and was running away from Abhishek because of these reasons. But Abhishek stated that he was in Delhi looking for her as he wished to protect her and not kill her. The Bhallas were happy with this news. The episode ended with them deciding a date for Sarika and Romi’s marriage.

In the upcoming episode, we will see the male members planning a bachelor party for Romi. The female members of the family will decide to have pani puri and someone will mix wine in it! Mona Singh – the very own Jassi is all set to return to TV with handsome Iqbal Khan in Sony TV s new show produced by Ekta Kapoor. Our sources confirm that the currently untitled show has already began its shoot at Mumbai ’ s Click Nickson studio and will go for a major outdoor shoot in Panchgani.

It’s almost after two years, Mona returns to TV after her last show Kya Huaa Tera Vadaa wrapped up in 2013 . She was busy hosting shows and did films like Zed Plus in between. Similarly, Iqbal also was away from soap operas after Tumhari Pakhi which went off air last year . Iqbal , though did Khatron Ke Khiladi this year along with hosting few shows but stayed from daily soaps.

Mona and Iqbal have been popular TV faces for almost a decade and it was Ekta Kapoor who could manage this casting coup of getting them on board. Like Ekta ‘s most of the shows this one will also be a love story cum family drama. Like Sony s previous show Bade Acche Lagte Hain and Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar this one though will also be a matured love story. Sony TV has been launch for both Mona and Iqbal.

With her debut show Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin, on Sony, Mona attained heights of popularity and it was with Sony show Kaisa Ye Pyaar hai , Iqbal got his entry into the world of television. Ekta Kapoor had launched Iqbal as Rockstar Angad in Kaisa Ye Pyaar Hai and Iqbal went on to do Kahin To Hoga , Kavyanajali and Karam Apna Apna with Ekta s production house Balaji Telefilms.

While for Mona after her maiden show Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi she did her major fiction show Kya Huaa Tera Waada with Ekta Kapoor only. It seems that Ekta was very impressed with Mona’s work and wanted to cast her in one of her shows and was waiting for the right show to begin with.

The new show is slated to go on air in October -November during Dusshera- Diwali where in Sony TV will also go for a programming makeover. While Mona Singh and Iqbal has been lucky mascot for the channel that’s been relatively low on TRPs and this show might be a game changer for Sony like Bade Acche Lagte Hain . But for the fans, it will be a delight to see Iqbal and Mona back and now as a new couple on screen.

Salman will be seen promoting Hero along with Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty on Jhalak over this weekend. And we hear it was during this episode when Karan recalled how he had got Salman to work in KKHH.  We hear Salman said yes to the role even without listening to his character or story line. “Tumhari yeh movie koi pagal hi karega aur mein woh pagal hoon!” is exactly what Salman had told a nervous Karan back then.

Karan also reminisced how Salman did the movie mainly for Karan’s father Yash Johar, who was extremely fond of the actor. “With his presence in KKHH, Salman raised the movie to another level and I will always be thankful to him,” he added. No I am not kidding! This is exactly what the task was all about! Every guy picked one partner from the girls, and stood there half naked, literally getting busted by other chics.

Ashish Chowdhry, the winner of Khatron Ke Khiladi 6, got evicted from Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded this weekend.He was in the bottom two along with Subhreet Kaur and Raftaar Singh. However, his ‘Jaan Ke Liye Dance’ failed to impress the judges and was eventually shown the door. Although the actor maintains he was glad he could last through half the season, he reveals that it was because of mismatched harness coordination during his aerial act that he had to leave the show. Yes, that’s right guys!

Ashish underwent a hand surgery  yesterday. He has been putting up a series of tweets on Twitter, justifying his exit from Jhalak. Here check it out.

While talking to a leading daily, the actor further argued, “When I was performing the aerial act, one of the guys who was supposed to pull the harness slipped and so, they missed the take off timing. The show’s format is such that a participant can’t ask for a second chance. Ganesh (Hedge) master, who is transparent while marking the performances, also noticed the harness issue. Even Lauren (Gottlieb) went backstage and with the help of translators, fired those who handled the harness. I think it was a genuine mistake, and so, I didn’t say much.”

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded just got a lot more exciting with Salman Khan’s presence. While yesterday we saw three eliminations including Ashish Chowdhry, Subhreet Kaur and Irrfan Pathan walking out of show. Tonight started off on a rather merrier note with Salman leaving no stone unturned to keep us entertained with his quirky sense of humour! He floored us to such an extent that well, sorry Shahid Kapoor…but we’ve got to admit that we barely missed you on Jhalak tonight…Read on to find out how it all began right from Salman’s entry to the performances…

Given that Athiya Shetty and Sooraj Pancholi too were the star guests on the show(though they barely spoke), it started off with the duo’s sizzling act. It turned out to be their first official performance on stage. Here check out a few glimpses…

Following which, began the main show! We got to see Sanaya Irani’s Charlie Chaplin act which was way too entertaining! She unquestionably got full points from all the judges.

But that’s not all! The highlight of her performance had to be Salman, who further shook a leg with her on his hit song, Chunri Chunri! Oh! The way they pulled off the towel act is for you to see in this picture below, in case you missed it…

Then came Scarlett Wilson who was gave us an emotional act on Salman’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan song Tu Jo Mila. She paid an ode to her mother and it was really heart wrenching to see her dance with so much intensity, Not only did Scarlett breakdown to tears but even Salman, Karan and Lauren were a little moved! Salman also revealed how he inspired Scarlett to pursue her career in Bollywood.

Soon after this, Salman took us to a nostalgic trip of O O Jaane Jaana. He was joined by everyone on stage right from Karan, Athiya, Sooraj, Lauren Ganesh and Manish! Sometimes, all you want to do is watch the good old days come back! How we wish they really return…

Next we have Vivian Dsena! He performed on Ranveer Singh’s song Aadat se majbur. He managed to impress the judges and walked away with decent scores.

Salman and Karan then engaged in a fun banter! Not only did Salman pull Karan’s leg cracking ’377′ jokes but also made him dance to his tunes on Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’s song Sajan Ji Ghar Aaye! KJo later also revealed how he got Salman to act in his first directorial and thanked him with all his heart!

Faizal Khan stole the thunder by dedicating his performance to his mom and dad! He staged an intense act on Salman’s latest track Main Hoon Hero Tera and received a standing ovation for his blockbuster act! Salman was so blown over to an extent that he said, “Aise anokhe bacche kyu paida karte ho? Normal bache paida karo.”

The show concluded on this ‘heroic’ note with Salman performing with all the contestants on Main Hoon Hero Tera!

There is no need to say that Comedy Nights With Kapil was a blast tonight, given that Kapil Sharma is back. But what made today’s show even more special was the super strong presence of Rishi Kapoor. I say ‘strong presence’ because for once, even Kapil was left speechless and had no comebacks whatsoever. Yes, that really happened. Mr Kapoor went on a story telling mode that was entertaining enough for the audience. He was later joined by Abhishek Bachchan, Asin and Supriya Pathak who were there to promote their upcoming film, All Is Well. And if you think story-telling was all that Rishi did, you’d be making a fool of yourself, because there was much much more…

After a few anecdotes, Rishi was attacked by Dadi aka Ali Azgar who kissed and danced and sang duets with him. And well, you have to give it to the man, he was the most participative guest on the show till date. He then became sapera for an audience member.

Abhishek too had his moments, especially with Gutthi, but the star of the evening was Chintoo baba.
