Harman (Vivian Dsena) comes to Surbhi’s house. Maninder and Beeji get surprised seeing him. He comes inside and sees all the wedding celebrations. He goes inside Surbhi’s house. He apologises to her for leaving her alone. She shouts on him and asks him to leave.He says he got into some problems. She shows her all the wedding gifts, tells her about Nimmi’s condition and tells him that these are real problems. He asks her leave. Nimmi sees someone outside and starts locking doors and windows. Beeji comes and asks her to calm down. Harman sees all this. She sees Harman and asks him to sit. Surbhi goes out and starts crying. Harman praiaes her for not loosing hope, apologises to her and promises her that he will not give her any more reasons to complain.

Surbhi tells him everything. Preeto (Kamya Punjabi) fumes in anger. Harak asks what’s the matter. He gives her a glass of water and asks her to tell him everything. She tells him about Soumya’s (Rubina Dilaik) call and Guruma’s threats. Harak scolds her for going there. She tells him she had no other option. He feels helpless. She tells him that they will have to control Harman.

Rani and Nima go out for shopping. Soumya thanks Kareena for saving her yesterday. Kareena says why did Harman tell everything to Preeto. Soumya says she was thinking the same. She tells Kareena that maybe Preeto picked her phone. She tells Kareena that he is a good man.

Nima tells Rani that her father is very rich. Rani tells her that she has an idea. She says if we join hands with Preeto then they will earn a lot. Nima asks where will we send Taranna. She says Bangkok. Rani makes evil plans.

Chakor (Meera Deosthale) asks Imli (Vidhi Pandya) to never tell Vivaan (Paras Arora) that she still loves him. She agrees and thanks her. Chakor says she is looking beautiful. Vivaan comes and asks if Imli is ready. She says yes she is, blesses them and leaves with a heavy heart. She turns back and starts crying. She closes the doors and goes out. She cries and leaves. Suraj (Vijayendra Kumeria) thinks of all that Imli said and starts hurting himself.

Vivaan tells Imli that they have become husband wife in the true sense today. He says he is lucky to get a wife like her. He He says he wants to take the marriage vows again as everyone doesn’t get a chance to live with their love. She says even she wants to take marriage vows again.

Ranjana comes and tells Suraj that why did he let Imli go. She tells him that after today’s night he will not be able to meet her. She asks if he wants to meet her once before her first night.

Vivaan and Imli take the marriage vows around candles. They promise to support each other at every stage of life. Chakor talks to the moon and cries. She says she is all alone now. She closes the window and leaves. Vivaan sees the moon and promises that he will not let anyone come between him and Imli. She also promises to always keep him happy. Suraj knocks on their door. Vivaan and Imli get shocked seeing him. Suraj sees Imli holding Vivaan’s hands. Vivaan asks what’s the matter. He gets reminded of all that Chakor said. He says he wants to see Imli once. Imli gets angry and starts shouting on him. Vivaan says it’s okay. Suraj apologises and leaves.

Imli asks why didn’t he let her say anything. Vivaan tells her that it was because of Suraj that they are here together. He tells her how Suraj made him realise that he loves Imli, inspite of loving her himself. Imli cries and says Vivaan is great. Imli says he loves him. He also says he loves her.

Suraj goes to his bar and starts drinking. He decides to start living the way he used to. He asks his servant to call dancers. Chakor looks at the clock and gets worried for Suraj. She thinks maybe he too must be feeling lonely. She starts looking for him in the haveli. She hears some noises from the basement. She scolds him for throwing things around. He says he doesnot have any regrets and he has decided to start a new life. Chakor says good he has decided to move on but this is not the way. She asks if he is sad. He tells her that he has decided to enjoy his life. Bar girls enter. He asks them to start dancing and take him away from all grief. Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) insists Aaliya to meet Tanu and apologise to her personally. She agrees and decides to talk to Tanu’s mother. Pragya (Sriti Jha) gets worried thinking about Abhi. Aaliya sees Pragya and decides to send her away. She asks her to go to the storeroom and arrange old newspapers and contract files chronologically. Abhi comes down and asks Pragya to do as Aaliya said.

Raj’s wife tells him about Abhi and Tanu. Raj tells her that he has talked to him and he feels it’s a part of Aaliya and Tanu’s plan. She says yes. She asks him to drink tea. He says it’s bad and leaves. Aaliya brings Abhi to Tanu’s society. Aaliya says she will go first and call him. Tanu’s mother comes and scolds him for ruining his life. He apologises. She says his sorry won’t work. She scolds him and leaves.

Pragya goes to the store room and sees all the papers. Aaliya comes down. Abhi asks if she can meet Tanu. Tanu sees all this. Abhi asks what was her reaction. She tells Tanu is ready for marriage but only on one condition. She tells Abhi that Tanu wants him to propose her. Abhi says he will go and propose her now. She stops her and asks him to plan a grand romantic proposal. Tanu blushes listening all this. Abhi says all this will take time. Aaliya asks her to go and do all the preparations. She asks her no to discuss this matter with anyone else. He agrees. Aaliya says she will stay back and asks him to go.

Tanu comes and hugs her and thanks her for everything. She asks her to keep Pragya away from all this. Aaliya asks Tanu to be careful and pretend to look sad. Abhi comes back home and asks Pragya how romantic is she. She says she doesn’t have a boyfriend. He asks her to decorate the terrace. Pragya asks who is he doing all this for. He says he wants to see whether she will be able to manage her concerts.She says she has never done something like this before. He says there is always a first time.He tells her she has three hours.

Pragya starts doing all the preperations. Pragya wonders what could have been the reason for suddenly asking her to decorate the terrace. She recalls how he proposed her earlier. Dev (Shaheer Sheikh) sits at the altar as the Dixit family is very impressed with all the preparations and decoration. The rituals at the altar begin and everybofy is eager to see Sona in the wedding attire. Ishwari (Supriya Pilgaonkar) asks Asha to get Sona (Erica Fernandes) for a ritual that follows the Tilak and goes with Asha to get her. Everybody is shocked to see Sona in a saree and not the lehenga. Sona bends to seek blessings from Dadi Bua but she stops her and taunts her about whatever she is wearing. Asha explains that she didn’t know that Sona had to wear the lehenga and explains the Bengali traditions to them.

They even taunt Sona about not applying mehendi. Sona, hurt by the comments, starts crying. Ishwari expresses her disappointment to Asha when Mamaji interferes and manages the situation as always. He also requests Bejoy to not mention about this to Dev. Everybody peacefully gives the gifts and bless her when Elena comes saying that the pandit is calling her. The Dixit family is making fun of the noise that the Bose family makes during Sona’s entry. Dev is happy to see her. The exchange garlands and the main marriage rituals begin. Bejoy tells Dev that Kanyadaan is one very difficult ritual for a father and that he hopes Sona gets the same love and respect that she got from her own house. Dadi Bua and Radha interfere by saying that saying that whatever he is expecting is unrealistic and against the culture. They also say that one they get their daughter married, she is not theirs anymore. Mamaji interferes, again, and tells them a daughter is always a daughter. Ishwari agrees.

Elena and Sourabh check on the catering as Ishwari walks in with Dadi Bua and a few guests. The guests refuse to eat seeing non vegetarian food. Dadi Bua scolds her. Asha comes to invite them for dinner but they refuse. Radha comes and tells Dadi Bua how much she enjoyed the food. Dadi Bua taunts Radha about burping when she acts like she didn’t know there was non vegetarian food. Mamaji tries to save this situation but fails this time. Sourabh tells Asha why the Dixit family is not eating. She requests Ishwari to eat something and she politely refuses. Dadi Bua butts in saying that they have committed a sin.

Asha tries to convince them and feels bad that they are not eating anything but Ishwari assures her that everything is okay and leaves. Bejoy sees Asha crying and asks what happened but Sourabh distracts him. The pheras begin. The pandit asks them to take the seven vows and they are finally married. They seek blessings from their elders. The event organiser adds fish in all the gifts that are supposed to be sent to the Dixit family. The vidaai ceremony begins and Sona bids farewell to her family.

Ishwari welomes Sona to their house and the grahpravesh ceremony takes place. Radha hugs Sona and taunts her about finally becoming the daughter-in-law of the house. Neha welcomes Sonakshi to the family. Sona gives Dev’s sister a gift each. Meanwhile, the servants keep the gifts sent by the Bose family on the dining table in Ishwari Niwas. And then the ‘find the ring in a bowl of milk’ ritual happens and Radha decides to sneak out to check on the gifts. She smells something fishy and finds fish in one of the gifts and freaks out. Everybody rushes in and cringes at the sight of the fish.

Ishwari asks the servant to throw it away immediately when Dadi Bua rants about committing a sin and Ishwari asks the servant to clean the entire house twice. Dev tries to explain that it must be a mistake but Ishwari refuses to accept it. Dadi Bua taunts them further when Sona asks Sourabh why there was fish in the gifts. Sourabh tells them that he knew they can’t have non veg in the house and must be a mistake from the event manager’s end. Elena and Sourabh apologise to Ishwari and tell them that the event management company screwed up. They tell her that Sona didn’t know about this.

Ishwari accepts their apology. Sourabh asks her to accept the other gifts and she does so unwillingly.

Swara Bhaskar known for her superlative performances in films like Nil Battey Sannata, Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo, Tanu Weds Manu is making her small screen debut with a web series called # It’s Not That Simple. It will premiere on 6 October on Voot that’s TV 18 s streaming channel.

The web series is about extra-marital affairs with the bold subject of a housewife in a loveless marriage. Along with Swara, there is TV actor Karan Mehra now called Karanveer Mehra, Vivaan Bhatena and Akshay Oberoi. It’s written by Charudutt Acharya and directed by Danish Aslam. Danish had directed the Deepika Padukone and Imran Khan starrer Break Ke Baad. Danish also happens to husband of TV actress Shruti Seth. The show ‘Its Not That Simple’ is a six part web series divided into three episodes.

The show revolves around the idea of marriage, relationships and a woman’s perspective on marriage, love, etc. In the show, Swara plays a housewife but has been given bold scenes with all three actors in the show. It’s a complicated story of an housewife caught in an extramarital affair and the complications thereafter.

Swara was last seen in Ashwini Iyers Nil Battey Sannata as a mother. She made her debut with a flop film called Madholal Keep Walking. Recognition poured in when she played Kangana Ranaut’s best friend in Tanu Weds Manu in 2011. After that she did Raanjhana with Dhanush and Sonam. Audiences loved her. That was followed by Tanu Weds Manu Returns with Kangana again in 2015 . Swara got her first commercial film the same year with Prem Ratan Dhan Payo where she was Salman Khan’s sister. She has earlier hosted Rangoli on Doordarshan but this is the first time she would be seen in the web series format. Playing Swara’s abusive husband in ‘Its Not That Simple ‘ is actor Karan Mehra who has changed his name to Karanveer Mehra. He has done shows like Pavitra Rishta, Bade Acche Lagte Hain , Amrit Manthan and films like Ragini MMS 2  in the past. Few days back he was linked up with Ankita Lokhande.

Akshay Oberoi also makes his web series debut as Swara’s friend. He is Vivek Oberoi’s cousin and has done films like Pizza and Fitoor. The show also marks the return of model and actor Vivaan Bhatena as Swara’s lover. Vivaan had done shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhie Bahu Thi, Maayka and Kumkum in the past. Vivaan has acted in small roles in films like Chak De India and Talaash. He was a contestant in this year’s Khatron Ke Khiladi.

The web show has a rather bold subject with raunchy scenes. Also, the language used by the actors is full of expletives. Considering the web series trend these days, Swara’s new attempt may pave for many other actresses to try something beyond films, TV serials and reality shows. Also, many bold themes that can not be attempted on cinema or TV format can be done on web format.

With season 2 of Quantico getting underway, Priyanka Chopra is on a promotional blitzkrieg. The lady was spotted on the chat show, Live With Kelly last night. The diva wore an outfit from Michael Kors, which was teamed with a pair of Gianvito Rossi golden heels. It was a school girl look with a top, blue skirt and a sequinned sweater to add some bling. Though it was day time, Piggy Chops made the look work. Her team shared details of her look on social media. The hairstyle was schoolgirl waves done by Ted Gibson.

On the show, she was asked about her twirling on the red carpet. The lady revealed that her dress had yards of chiffon, which made twirling easy. When she did it once, the paparazzi loved it. So, Priyanka did more twirls. The Bollywood diva said that lovely outfit called twirling. She did not say anything about Tom Hiddleston though.

The host also drew focus on Priyanka’s face saying she has gorgeous eyebrows. Kelly Ripa said her male co-host also tweezed his eyebrows. PeeCee said that she was not too fond of men who were metrosexual and that vanity was a woman’s prerogative. She said she liked her men scruffy but well-kept. Ahem.

However, the lady revealed about her love for clothes and makeup. She said that as a teen in the US she was sent to school in oversized tees and denims but the lady used to change once she was in school. When her mother came to clear up her locker at the time of her departure to India, she saw clothes and makeup rather than books.  The actress’ mom, Madhu also accompanied her on the Live With Kelly show and was termed as cool by Kelly Ripa.

Priyanka has been in the US for quite some time now. The lady is also doing Baywatch where she is acting with Dwayne Johnson. The lady plays a negative role in the film. A few days back we were treated to some super hot snaps of Priyanka in a sports bra and denims, which beat many actresses in bikinis.

Well, this is not a drama scene or just another saas – bahu drama of Saath Nibhana Saathiya but a real life incident that happened on the sets of the popular TV show. It seems Gopi (Devoleena Bhattacharjee) and Pramila (Utkarsha Naik) have locked horns in real life. 

Devoleena Bhattacharjee has accused her co-star Utkarsha who plays her mother -in -law Pramila Raheja of stealing a dog from Saathiya sets. The dog was named Jugnu by Devoleena. He was a friendly pet on the sets. Devoleena was very fond of Jugnu and was very disturbed by the fact that Jugnu was missing since last two days . She had been nurturing Jugnu since the dog was a newborn pup and has been taking care of the dog like her own child.

When she could not find Jugnu for two days, she checked and came to know that her co-star Utkarsha that is her on-screen mother in law was last seen with Jugnu and had taken the pet in her car. While Utkarsha who says she has no clue about the dog’s whereabouts said, “Yes, I wanted to take the dog for a medical check up. Since the dog was friendly with me, I wanted to take the dog to a vet as she was on heat. So, I tried but the dog would not fit inside the car. I dropped the dog at the gate. I was planning to take the dog by calling the ambulance. Since that day the dog is missing and I have no clue where the pet has gone. Where and why would I take the dog and why should I? I am into animal welfare myself and this baseless what is being spread about me.”

Devoleena had a heated argument with Utkarsha over this and since then she has been fanatically searching for the dog. In fact she has formed a whatsapp group called ‘I want Jugnu back’ and has been spreading the message of missing dog. In fact, she is planning to file a complaint with PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals ) against Utkarsha Naik over this issue.

OMG ! This is really something that’s hard to believe but Devoleena who shared a love – hate relationship with the media has requested media people to help her find Jugnu. She has also put up messages on her all social media accounts over this search and requested all her friends to find Jugnu.

We hope that she finds her missing Jugnu and her fight with her co-star is been resolved soon. In the past, Devoleena had issues with others like Rupal Patel, Vishal Singh, Lovey Sasan, etc over petty things. Hope this one is not one of those frictions on the sets that happens among most of the TV stars.

On the occasion of Nia Sharma’s birthday, we conducted a poll on which TV actor should Nia pair up with for her next soap. The lady was seen with Ravi Dubey on the show Jamai Raja and quite after a couple of years as she did not want to look old onscreen. At present, Nia is doing Comedy Nights Bachao Tazaa. She is voted as one of the sexiest girls of TV. Though she was not talking to co-star Ravi Dubey for a long time, her chemistry with him was damn sizzling. Nia, who turned 26 is quite different from other TV actresses. A true blue fashion diva, she has burnt the red carpet with her risque outfits. So, the actor beside her has to be a guy with some persona…

We chose five guys for her – Shaheer Sheikh from Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, Shakti Arora who is now on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and Vivek Dahiya of Kavach…Kali Shaktiyon Se were the front-runners. It is not surprising that people want to see Shaheer and Nia together.

Both the actors have tremendous personality. Shaheer and Nia both are quite tall and have the looks. If he is classically handsome, she is attractive. They are great actors as well. We guess a love-hate story with a great plot would be nice for them. We do not want to see them in a typical family drama. A slightly different story with a bit of suspense and thrill would be nice.

Shakti Arora took the second spot. It is not surprising as he is missing from a daily soap and his fans want to see him back asap. Shakti who was a part of ensemble cast for nearly 10 years on TV rocked Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi with his heartfelt performance of Ranveer Vaghela. He has the innocence and charm that can complement Nia’s hot looks. An urban web series with an emotional story would be nice as Shakti excels in intense roles.

The latest hottie on the block, Vivek Dahiya took the third spot. There are quite a few ladies who want to see Vivek in romantic roles. He is also an extremely good-looking man with a fashion quotient to boot. He would like to see him romance someone who is closer to his age. Nia and he would look lovely in a finite series with a modern set up. No traditional drama, we want to see them in their stylish best.

With Ek Duje Ke Vaaste going off air on October 7, fans are very disheartened. The online pleas have not been heard by anyone and the show is not getting any extension. The channel has been criticised, Nikita Dutta’s apparent new project is being blamed and now here is a new twist. It seems the director of the show, Aijaz Shaikh and actor Namik Paul had a fiery argument that happened recently on the sets. The crew witnessed a verbal fight that escalated and Aijaz just stormed off from the sets of the show.

In an exclusive statement to India-Forums, Aijaz said, “Yes, I have left the show. I have no issues with the production house. They are really very good. But I had issues with Namik.”

It seems the problems were there since a long time but the director kept mum about it. He further said, “But since only two days of shooting is remaining, I didn’t want to create an issue because I want to work with them in future. We all are here to work and everyone should know their limits. It’s normal for people of the same age to get comfortable with each other, but there should be respect.”

The director is all praise for Namik Paul’s performance on the show but feels he has got carried away. Aijaz said, “Namik is a very good actor but he should know how to respect people. I know people are really liking Namik and he is doing good work and there are fans who really love him, but I feel he could not really handle all this appreciation and got carried away.”

The director also divulged details about the crux of the fight. He quoted, “It so happened that Namik yelled, ‘Director ka kya kaam hota hai set pe… cameraman makes the block’… which really hurt me. Who is he to tell me things like these? Even Shah Rukh Khan, who is in that position today will never say such kind of words to the director! So who is Namik to teach me my work?”

He added, “A director is the one who teaches you how to give the right expressions. I am working on the project for the past 7-8 months and when Nikita was not there, I was the only one who managed the shoot without the lead actor. When actor throws tantrums on the set, the channel and the makers of the show, both are helpless because actors are the ones who are the face value of the show and people don’t see how much effort goes behind the camera.”

Aijaz left the show just when a single day was left of the shoot. He said, “Me and Namik had a little argument on the set. It was nothing major but the next day, when I went on the sets, I started getting negative feelings. So I spoke to the producer and they were really sweet to let me go off the project. I don’t want to work with such actors who don’t know how to give respect and who take people for granted.”

It seems the portal also got in touch with Namik who said, “It’s nothing like that. We are of the same age and such things happen. It’s normal.”

Avinesh Rekhi, the light-eyed hunk from Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon has been chosen to play the main male lead in ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ season 2. After Diya Aur Baati Hum ended this month,  the producers Shashi and Sumeet Mittal and Star Plus are gearing up for the new season of the show. It seems like a number of actors were auditioned and finally Avinash has bagged the role.

The hunt for the female lead is currently on and many names like Niti Taylor, newcomer Vaani and Divyanka Tripathi’s cousin Kanika Tiwari have been shortlisted. The final call amongst these three actresses is yet to be taken. Sahil Anand is roped in as the parallel lead in the show. He has done films like Student Of The Year, Babloo Happy Hai and shows like Roadies and Sasuraal Simar Ka earlier. Sahil and Avinesh will play rough and tough army guys in the show who will meet Khanak that is Sooraj and Sandhya’s daughter and will be part of her journey.

Avinesh hails from Punjab and made his debut with ‘Chhal – Sheh Aur Maat’ with Hunar Hale on Colors. Later, he did ‘Madhubala -Ek Ishq Aur Junoon with Drashti Dhami and Vivian Dsena. The tall actor was also seen with Aishwarya Sakhuja on Sony TV’s ‘Main Naa Bhooloogi’. His last show was ‘Maharana Pratap’ with Ssharad Malhotra on Sony TV. For Diya Aur Baati 2, makers were looking for a matured guy to play the main lead. And many names like Sharman Joshi and Sonu Sood were considered along with many other TV actors. Finally, Avinesh’s audition came out the best and suited the character.

Avinesh and Sahil will have a physically challenging chapter on the show and unlike the Diya Aur Baati Hum 1, the guys this time will be modern and trendy. So, as soon the female lead is been locked, the makers of the team will leave for Kerala for the first schedule . The new season of Diya Aur Baati Hum 2 will be a love story cum action and thriller with a young fresh appeal.

On a chat show with Neha Dhupia titled #NoFilterNeha, the director opened up on details of his private life that are extremely amusing. He has known Neha since a long time and did not shy away from sharing details of his sex life with her. On sexting 
I am kinda flirty like that. I flirt and I am so much better with words than I am with actions. The kind of words I can come up with and the kind of things I can say on text. I am sexting a lot of people currently and I love flirting on text.

On losing his virginity
I was 26 in New York when I lost my virginity right after Kuch Kuch Hota Hai had released. There was a little bit of confidence that had stepped up within and we went for an awards function. I remember being at this hotel and not knowing what being picked up means till the person got quite specific and I felt really great about myself. I was very grateful to that person.

After sex
I really want to shop when I have sex. After sex, you really want to buy yourself new clothes.

On sex comedies 
I love Riteish (Deshmukh) and I think he is an outstanding artist but everytime he comes up with these sex comedies, I don’t watch them because I can’t.

This show is Neha’s debut in the digital world and the producers of the show felt Neha had the perfect voice to make waves. Fans of Jennifer Winget who were desperately waiting for her comeback show have a lot to cheer for. Yes, Beyhadh is going on air from October 12. It will replace the Priyanshu Jora – Namita Dubey show, Bade Bhaiyya Ki Dulhania on the 9pm slot. There is a lot of buzz that the show is inspired by Gone Girl. The Hollywood thriller is based on Gillian Flynn’s hit novel of the same name. We know that Jennifer Winget plays a sociopath in Beyhadh called Maya. She is madly in love with Kushal Tandon but things go awry when her love turns into an obsession.

This promo has to be the most memorable one so far. Jennifer says when a dog tries to become like a human being, he is welcomed into the house but when a human being behaves like a dog, he is thrown out. Kushal looks stunned while she walks out with a cold menacing look in her eyes. We see her clutching a cushion that has his face done on it. Beyhadh is produced by Cinevistaas, the same production house that made her hit show Dil Mill Gaye. They have already shot for 20 episodes. Beyhadh has been in the news as it is the comeback show of Jennifer Winget after two years. The lady took a sabbatical post Star Plus’ Saraswatichandra. She did a film Phir Se that has not been released so far. Moreover, she went through a bad divorce with Karan Singh Grover. Kushal has also been away from the limelight after Bigg Boss 7. We saw a damn good Ganpati promo where he made a stunning entry.

If Beyhadh is indeed based on Gone Girl we will sure have a blast watching it. A leading lady with negative shades is not seen much on TV. It will be a respite from the saas bahu and supernatural shows ruling the roost. Aneri was last seen with Mishkat Verma on Nisha Aur Uske Cousins, which was quite appreciated. She also did a episodic for Yeh Hai Aashiqui with Mishkat only. Beyhadh is her full-fledged role.

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Manish Malhotra were invited on Vogue BFFs this weekend. The two have been friends since a long time. Kareena wore a olive green dress with a white coat and golden heels. Curious Karan Johar
The diva revealed that Karan Johar was extremely curious about her pregnancy. It seems she saw her sitting in a no-smoking zone and got curious as to why did she do so. Later, he saw her drinking wine and asked her if she was pregnant. Then, he felt that since she was drinking wine, she might not be preggers. Bebo’s girl gang, Karan Johar and Manish were the earliest to get the good news. Hmmm…

Pregnancy cravings
Kareena Kapoor Khan said that she is craving for Punjabi food during these days. She loves ghee, parathas, butter chicken, chole bhature and so on. Bebo said she loves spicy food. Manish revealed that once after a show got done in Delhi, Urmila Matondkar, Kareena and he attacked food in the hotel room. A friend of his was shocked to see actresses eat so much. Kareena revealed she loves to eat and eat a lot.

Weighty issues
She was shown a snap of hers in a swimsuit during Tashan. The lady said a lot happened during the shoot besides size zero. It was where she met Saif Ali Khan. Bebo also saw her abs and commented that she was hoping that she did get them back next year.

Sonakshi Sinha was on The Kapil Sharma Show this weekend. She had come a few days back to promote Akira as well. This time she was joined by John Abraham, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Vipul Shah and Abhinay Deo. They had come to promote Force 2. Unlike other film actors who come closer to the release, John and Sona came to promote the film just after the release of the trailer. Force 2 will release in November.

We know that Kapil and Sona gel very well. She teased Sona about her size and the lady took it sporting. He said with Sona in the film, it was Force 4 and not 2. She corrected him saying that it would be 3 as she is half of what she was before. Sonakshi said she was a huge lover of action films, which is why she did projects like Dabangg, Rowdy Rathore and now Force 2.

Kiku Sharda teased John about his abs and felt him up in a funny manner. Kapil teased Sona if she had tied a Rakhi on John to which she said that she did not try Rakhis on handsome guys. Kapil smirked. He asked her you want to see Ranveer Singh playing your father, Shatrughan in his biopic. What is the problem with you that you make good-looking guys brothers and fathers? Sona was giggling away and said that marriage was nowhere in her mind. Kapil teased her about rejecting him saying he was handsome and his show was also No.1 in the country.

In the humour quotient, Kartikey Raj aka Khajoor dressed up in a manner similar to Gutthi of Comedy Nights With Kapil. He was damn hilarious. We wonder if Kapil Sharma will get in some trouble considering that the other channel has creative copyright over the Gutthi character. Chandan Prabhakar and he was quite good and we were laughing. Sunil Grover came in as Mashoor Gulati and said he should get some benefit from Khajoor’s act.

Later, a few guests were asked how would they propose to Sona and everyone had a funny answer. One of the girls said she would like to propose to Kapil much to his amazement. Sona enjoyed this segment immensely. Tahir Raj Bhasin joined them and he was asked why he was always a villain. The actor retorted that his teacher always told him that irrespective of whether he played a villain, his heart should always be that of a hero. The audience cheered for him. Tahir also has a sense of humour, which was quite evident. The episode went downhill from there as Kapil Sharma indulged in a lot of toilet humour. The gags had seen quite funny since then but the non-stop jokes on motions really robbed some of the sheen. Abhinay Deo and Vipul Shah joined them for the last segment. A few jokes were also made on Navjot Singh Sidhu who scored a zero during a 1990 cricket match.

Just like in Bollywood, in the telly world too, a lot of actors have embraced parenthood this year. After Shabbir Ahluwalia, Arpit Ranka and Chahat Khanna it is now Yash Tonk and wife Gouri’s turn! Yes, Yash and Gouri are expecting their second baby by January 20917 next year. “Like our first child, Pari, this baby too, is unplanned. Pari was born two weeks before our first anniversary. She is elated and has started mothering me. She can’t stop thanking me,” Gauri revealed to a leading daily.

On being asked about her husband and other family members’ reaction to the news, Gouri maintained that Yash is more than happy. He is ecstatic. “Honestly I didn’t even expect anyone to react the way they did, including my extended family,” she added. Further, she went on to say that after her first child, Pari she wanted to get back to acting and that’s why the idea of having another baby took a backseat. “I wanted to get back to work. So, the plan to have another baby was put on the back-burner.”

Wondering what Yash and Gouri will name their child? Well, they haven’t decided that as yet. “We hadn’t pre-decided the name of our first child either.  Because I was sleepless during my first pregnancy, my doctor started calling me Pari, and that’s how we named the baby. I am waiting for another story to unfold, so that I can name my second child. I wanted my first child to be a daughter but there is no preference this time around, she added.

Yash Tonk and Gouri (Yadav) met on the sets of TV show Kaahin Kissii Roz. “After a month of knowing each other, I realised that something special was brewing between us. So, I proposed to her, and she said ‘yes’,” he had revealed in an interview earlier.

Pakistan’s media regulator has asked all channels in the country to “immediately” stop broadcast of illegal Indian content amid the ongoing tension between the two nations. 

Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) in a statement said it has been receiving complaints that several local private channels were showing Indian talk shows, reality programmes and dramas without permission.

“The complaints have shown serious concerns on this issue (illegal Indian contents) in the wake of current situation between India and Pakistan. Complaints have urged PEMRA to impose immediate ban on broadcast and distribution of illegal Indian channels and illegal Indian DTH,” PEMRA said in a statement on Thursday.

PEMRA said that it had already taken steps to stop illegal broadcast of Indian channels and warned that all distribution networks and TV channels should follow the laws and “immediately” stop the broadcasting of Indian contents.

“This will sent a positive signal to the public about the satellite TV channels and distribution networks’ commitment with rule of law and the country – about which a huge number of talk shows preach daily,” it said.

According to PEMRA rules, local channels can only show 5 per cent foreign contents but it has been seen that several channels mostly rely on foreign contents, mostly Indian, Turkish, American and European.

The statement came after Indian Army announced that seven terror launch pads were targeted across the Line of Control (LoC) by special forces during a ‘surgical strike’. Last week, Raj Thackeray-led MNS issued an ultimatum to Pakistani artistes and actors, including Fawad Khan and Ali Zafar, to leave India by September 25 or else they would be “pushed out”. Recently, concerts of Pakistani singers Shafqat Amanat Ali and Atif Aslam scheduled in Bengaluru and Gurgaon respectively were also cancelled. It seems a number of Indian shows are shown illegally in Pakistan. Kavach is the No.1 show there as per a news report. Other shows like Sasural Simar Ka, Swaragini, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, etc are also doing very well there. Naagin is also a hit with the audiences. We saw how Indian audiences appreciated Pak shows on Zee’s Zindagi like Humsafar, Zindagi Gulzar Hai, Ashk and Numm. Indian actress Sara Khan is doing a show in Pakistan called Kaisi Yeh Mohabbat Hai. It also stars Noor Hasan who was seen in Humsafars. She is presently shooting in the country.

It is no secret that Namish Taneja is a huge dog lover. He has adopted a stray at home and takes care of all the dogs on the sets of Swaragini. However, his pet Whisky gave him some trouble recently when he took him to Lonavala. The road trip almost turned into a nightmare for the actor when he was questioned by the cops. He told a leading daily, “I took along a stray dog, who I named Whisky, as he loves to travel in the car. I decided to pull over midway to play frisbee with him and got scratched by his nails. After some time, we decided to go ahead, but my dog wouldn’t budge. A police van came, when I was luring Whisky with a treat to make him sit in the car. Since he is a stray, the constable thought that I was trying to kill him, especially after he saw the stretch marks on my hand. To add insult to the injury, he also assumed that the dog treat was some kind of drug. I showed him pictures of me with Whisky on a social networking profile, but he still felt that there was something fishy. After much persuasion and furnishing several proofs, he let me leave. Namish is not the only actor from the sets of Swaragini who loves dogs. His co-star Varun Kapoor is also a dog lover. He also has a pet on the sets of the show. It is called Doraemon. The actor does not keep one at home due to logistical issues but makes up for it on the sets lavishing love on his baby. It is also a stray dog.

Coming to it, pet love making news in TV town. Yesterday, we got the shocking news of how Saath Nibhaana Saathiya actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee has accused co-star Utkarsha Naik of stealing her pet dog, Jugnu from the sets. It seems Jugnu, a stray was like a baby for Devoleena. The actress also filed a complaint with PETA on the same. However, Utkarsha has denied all the rumours saying that she did not take it anywhere. Ahem! Our desi girl Priyanka Chopra is doing stuff in Quantico that is making us sit up and how.
