Romance is the base of most Indian daily soaps and we love it just that way. So BollywoodLife has found a great way to honour these perfect romantic moments between television’s hottest couples
The awards season is a big for the actors, producers, directors and channels – it’s an ideal way to showcase which shows are most loved by viewers other than the TRP system. BollywoodLife has introduced special telly awards where the winners will be decided purely on the basis of what fans think. After categories like favourite real and reel life jodis, hottest and most popular actors and actress, our last category for the season is the most romantic scene of 2014. So go back memory lanes and tell us which if your favourite romantic telly scene…
Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’s Raman and Ishita: The couple has danced to every romantic song one can think of and hence, it was rather tough to pick one romantic moment between the couple for this category. However, when Shagun was all set to get married to Ashok, Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) and Raman (Karan Patel) performed on Manwa Laage for the sangeet ceremony. It was just about the time that Ishita had started having feelings for Raman. It’s rather cute to see Raman blush as Ishita danced around him.
Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar’s Neil and Ragini: It’s actually an imaginative sequence between the leads of the show. The sequence was inspired by Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’s rain dance scene where Shah Rukh Khan asks Kajol for a dance and she mimes asking where’s the music. Well we are sure you’ve figured out the scene we are talking about. Ragini (Pallavi Kulkarni) and Neil (Ronit Roy) create the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai moment on the song Suraj hua mandham… the couple sizzled in the sequence.
Beintehaa’s Zain and Aaliya: The couple are meeting after a long time. Hence, the desperation to be with each other. It is probably one of the most romantic sequences in Beintehaa. Aaliya (Preetika Rao) and Zain (Harshad Arora) see each other across the street and run to hug and kiss in the middle of the road. Without a care in the world they indulge in a steamy kiss under the rain. They recreate the Aashiqui moment just that instead of a coat they used Aaliya’s pallu. Quite steamy!
Rangrasiya’s Rudra and Paro: It’s just after their marriage, Rudra (Aashish Sharma) and Paro (Sanaya Irani) are invited by his superior for a party. His boss’ wife spikes Paro’s drink and the couple are forced on the dance floor. Dressed in a red saree, Paro looked extremely hot while Rudra was stunning in his uniform. We are sure there may have been several other more romantic moments in the show, but this one is our personal favourite.
Qubool Hai’s Aahil and Sanam: The duo developed feelings for each other but try their level best to ignore it. Misunderstandings between the couple created a lot of problem between them, but when Aahil (Karanvir Bohra) hurts his hand and is unable eat by himself, Sanam (Surbhi Jyoti) tries to feed him. Every time she tries to spoon feed him, he jerks her hand off. It reminds us of a scene right out of Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai’s Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. It was a very cute scene, don’t you agree?
