Like every year, Salman Khan will enter the madcap house to celebrate Diwali with the contestants. But there is a twist this time around. Along with Khan renowned magician Hussain Rizvi will also enter the Bigg Boss house to enthrall the inmates with his tricks.

In fact, he teleports Khan directly inside the glass walled house and contestants start jumping with joy when they see the superstar. The Being Human star will be seen greeting everyone inside the house. Once all that is done, SK will introduce the game of Truth and Dare which will be moderated by Preetam. While Soni, Sushant and Aarya will be seen choosing dare, Puneet, Diandra, Minissha, Karishma and Upen will opt for Truth.

Soni, Sushant and Aarya will be given dares like headstand, having to lift Puneet and dance like a ballerina. As for the contestants who will be choosing truth, they will be questions pertaining to their perception of their fellow contestants in the house. For playing the game so sportingly, Salman gives all the contestants surprise gifts  - goodies from their family! That’s not all! The housemates will receive personalized Being Human goodie bags from the Bigg Boss host as well. And then there will be some naach-gaana too.

Firang dancers will enter the house and get the party started. Later, Salman will be seen shaking a leg along with the contestants and dancers on some his foot-tapping Bollywood numbers. Now that’s something we all don’t want to miss, right?

The Happy New Year actor gets angry when one of the artists mimics him on the stage

Shah Rukh Khan has always enjoyed gracing Kapil Sharma’s popular show Comedy Nights with Kapil. In fact, during Chennai Express promotions the superstar came on the show twice. So its not surprising that is he back on CNWK to promote his upcoming musical extravaganza Happy New Year which releases on October 24. In today’s episode, there will be plenty of naach-gaana and entertainment but at the same time King Khan will get upset on the show. Well, we have caught hold of the clip wherein SRK clearly looks miffed and even yells at Kapil’s team member who imitates him on the stage. Farah Khan tries to pacify the situation but fails. Even Kapil tries to make Shah Rukh understand that its all in fun spirit but the actor just doesn’t listen to him and gets mighty upset.

Today’s episode of Bigg Boss 8 had everything – drama, masti, naach-gaana and even magic

Yesterday, Bigg Boss host Salman Khan revealed that previous season’s winner Gauhar Khan would be the new boss of the house. In today’s episode, Gauhar took full advantage of her power. She made Ali Quli Mirza work for a change. And for the other contestants, it was a delight to watch their aggressive captain do the chores. After making most of the situation, Gauhar left the house. Interestingly, when housemates were asked to guess the name of their lady boss, instead of taking Gauhar’s name they said it was Bipasha Basu.

After leaving the house, the Bigg Boss 7 winner made an dhamakedaar entry on the stage. The B-town beauty showed off her moves and how. Later, she interacted with the contestants as a panelist and also revealed that she was their boss for the day. Gauhar then had an heated argument with Minissha over a remark that the Kidnap actress had made last weekend. Ms Lamba explained herself and then even apologized for what she had said.

After Gauhar, the popular television actress interacted with the inmates as a panelist. While she told Gautam that he is the most entertaining contestant this year, she also pointed out that all the housemates should have supported Sonali when Diandra hurt her while doing a task. Like Gauhar, Sargun also got into a war of words with Minissha out for a different reason. She pulled up Ms Lamba for not standing by Sonali.

Salman enters Bigg Boss house

Yes, the Being Human star entered the house and celebrated Diwali with all the contestants. Renowned magician Hussain Rizvi also entered the house and enthralled the inmates with his magic tricks. Later, Salman took everyone to the living area and made them play Truth and Dare. While Sushant was asked to lift Puneet since he chose dare, Karishma went for the truth and was asked to name one person who shouldn’t be made captain again. Obviously, Tanna said Ali. After the game was over, Khan gave away goodies to all the contestants for playing so sportingly.

After all the drama and confrontations, Salman grooved with the contestants and other dancers who had stormed the Bigg Boss house. While everyone enjoyed dancing with the Dabangg Khan, Natasa on the other hand was quietly taken out of the house.

Emraan Hashmi had openly commented about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s beauty and it seems the actor never meant it that way. If we recall Emmi had called Ash “plastic” when asked about what he feels about her beauty on the very popular chat show Koffee With Karan 4. The comment shook the very host Karan Johar as well, but he couldn’t even retort as he was bound by the rules of the TV show.

Now it seems after so many months having passed by Emraan clarifies that he never meant it to sound that way. He claims to be a big fan of Ash and informs that he did say that just to win the coveted Kofee Hamper. Speaking to a leading daily he informed, “I didn’t mean it. I’m a big fan of Aishwarya. It’s the format of the show. I cannot not say things and not win the hamper. I love her. I have always been a great admirer of her work.” So wasn’t Emmi aware of the fact that such a comment would send the whole film industry in a tizzy? He informs in the affirmative by saying, ”I knew people would make big deal out of it… so what, people make a big deal out of nonsense all the time!”

We said Emraan! Wethinks he won’t be the only celeb who would have purposely said something on national Television to create ripples in the film industry. There surely must have been many other who have done so on Karan Johar’s chat show. We applaud the fact that the Raja Natwarlal actor had the guts to come up in the open and accept it. Kudos Emmi!

It was definitely not a neck to neck competition.Salman Khan won the title of the bet host on TV with whooping 61 per cent votes in his favour for Bigg Boss. Now this was something we guessed as soon as the poll was up, his nonchalant and I  don’t care a damn attitude often impresses his fans. And if you’ve been watching Bigg Boss, you will definitely know what we are talking about.

In the second place we have Mr Perfectionist aka Aamir Khan as the host of Satyamev Jayate. The actor came in second with about 24 per cent votes. Well there’s only so much entertainment one can provide on serious discussions. But we do salute his spirit for coming up with Satyamev Jayate, which has indeed changed so many lives. In the third spot, we have legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan as he quizzes the contestant on Kaun Banega Crorepati with 10 per cent votes. And lastly, Akshay Kumar with 5 per cent votes for his action packed hosting in Dare 2 Dance.

Natasa has become the third contestant to bid adieu to Bigg Boss 8

Natasa Stankovic was eliminated from Bigg Boss 8 very recently. We caught up with the Serbian beauty post her eviction. In a candid chat with us, she talked about her journey inside the Bigg Boss house and more…

How was your experience of staying with total strangers under one roof for almost a month?

It just can’t be described in words. Initially, I was finding it difficult to converse in Hindi. Plus, the meal that was being cooked was too spicy for me. But by now, I had got used to it. I was talking with people a lot, in fact many said that my Hindi was improving. I took Bigg Boss as a challenge and after staying inside the house, I realised that I am a strong person.

So let’s just say if you are given a chance to go back inside the house, will you be able to survive for long?

I think I will. I would love to go back inside the house and stay with all, some of them are even my friends.

Who was your best buddy of them all?

Sushant (Divgikar). He was very much like me. We got along really well.

So do you want him to win Bigg Boss 8?

I would actually want Praneet (Bhatt) to win the show. He has no agenda whatsoever and he deserves to win. And I have a feeling that he will.

Out of all the contestants, who is the most cunning one inside the house?

Gautam (Gulati). I didn’t like his energy at all. He is playing a lot of games.

You were quite a favourite of Salman Khan. What do you have to say about it?

Was I? I didn’t know that.

There’s a new host on the youth reality show and we think it’s a wise decision

Channel V’s Gumrah was hosted by Karan Kundra for three seasons. However, when the actor shifted base to MTV channel with Fanaah, the makers of Gumrah replaced him with another actor.

Abhay Deol came on board as the new host in Season 4 of Gumrah. While the actor did a splendid job, reports suggest that the actor didn’t connect with television viewing audiences. Well the makers have roped in Qubool Hai actor Karanvir Bohra as the new host. Apparently, Karanvir has already started shooting for the episodes.

A few days back Karanvir tweeted on social networking sites, “Good news for my #bratpacks…. Your buddy boy #KVB is going to be the new face of @Vgumrah.”

Tanu aka Madhurima Tuli who plays Abhi’s (Shabbir Ahluwalia) girlfriend in Balaji Telefilms’ Kumkum Bhagya has been replaced by Leena Jumani.

According to reports, Madhurima decided to quit the show as she was offered a pivotal role in a movie. Considering Tanu’s character is essential for the show, the makers would not be able to incorporate her absence in the script. After much deliberation, the makers of the show roped in Leena Jumani, who was last seen in Amita Ka Amit to play the character of Tanu.

While Leena is a decent actor, somehow wethinks Shabbir and Leena don’t have the same chemistry that Madhurima and Shabbir shared. It seems like an awkward pair. What do you think BollywoodLifers?

In an exclusive chat with BollywoodLife, Natasa has openly talked about her boyfriend

We were the first ones to tell you that Natasa Stankovic, who was recently eliminated from Bigg Boss 8 has a love life of her own. The Serbian beauty is dating Aly Goni, who is currently seen as Romi in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.

However, the two always chose to keep mum on their affair. Not so long time ago, we contacted Aly for a confirmation on his relationship status with Natasa. When asked about the same, the lad said, ” I’m not ready to talk about anything as of now.”

We couldn’t have a word with Natasa since she was inside the Bigg Boss house. However post her elimination, we caught up with the lady and it is during this chat she opened up about her relationship with Goni.

We asked Natasa if she met her boyfriend after coming out of the house and how did he react to her eviction. To this she said, “Oh, yes, I met him. He was very happy to see me. That’s it, won’t say anything more than this.”

Love is definitely in the air in Bigg Boss 8

Bigg Boss 8 contestant Sonali Raut has been in the limelight for all sorts of reasons these days. Be it her fight with Diandra Soares or her closeness with Upen Patel and Gautam Gulati, Sonali has experienced the highs and lows of the Bigg Boss house. However, it seems that it is Sonali’s relationship with Gautam that is now flourishing as their quiet and intimate conversations can be witnessed in the house! Be it taking walks together or holding hands at varied times, love definitely seems to be in the air!

After Sushant Divgikar confronted Sonali as to why she is not going ahead with Gautam when he really likes her, Sonali says that she feels Gautam is a little shy and he is not willing to talk openly about their chemistry. She further elaborates that she does not understand how to approach him about her feelings.

However later in the night, Sonali is seen talking to Gautam in front of Praneet in the living room area. Sonali deliberately starts speaking to Praneet while Gautam listens, stating that she is not able to speak to Gautam about anything as she don’t know what he is thinking, clearing hinting to Gautam that she is starting develop feelings towards him. Praneet then supports Sonali and asks Gautam as to why he is not saying anything to her about his feelings. Gautam simply dismisses the matter while saying, “Sabar ka phal meetha hota hai!”. Praneet then tells Gautam that, “Kabhi kabhi sabar karte karte phal pak jaata hai aur agar who sahi time per toda nahi gaya toh toot ke gir jayega!”.

Gautam, however, pays heed to Praneet’s comment says that he will try to do something about it. Sonali then stands up and walks away telling Gautam that she is waiting for him. Gautam asks her to leave and that he will join her in a while. As the lights turn off, Gautam and Sonali are seen spending quality time together and chatting up while sharing the same bed. Clearly the loving relationship seems to be on the cards. Let’s see how it unfolds!

It’s one of the most awaited and exciting shows on Star Plus but will the actors do justice to it

Ashutosh Gowariker has finally revealed the faces of his actors in his debut television show, Everest. While the show has some popular actors like Suhasini Mulay, Mohan Kapoor, Milind Gunaji, Rajat Kapoor, Kishori Shahane and Manish Choudhary; the leads of the show are completely fresh.

We caught the new promo of the show and have very mixed feelings about this one. Newcomer Shamata Anchan plays the role of Anjali who wants to climb the Everest to etch her father’s name on the highest peak of the mountain. Her father, an officer in the army is played by Manish Choudhary, claims that he has been living with a broken heart ever since he got a girl. There will two male leads in the show – actors Sahil Salathia and Rohan Gandotra.

The promo showcases Anjali’s dream to be special for her father, her trials and tribulations of being a girl child of a reputed army officer and more. Dev has been accused of shooting Raima. Will Durga work towards proving that he is innocent? Read on to know more…

In the last episode, we saw Dev (Bhuvnesh Mann) informing Durga (Sanjeeda Sheikh) that Raima (Kishwer Merchantt) had been shot. He was seen rushing Raima to the hospital. Sakshi (Simone Singh), on the other hand, informed Rajnath(Ayub Khan) about the attack on Raima and was displeased looking at his concern for her. The doctor was seen informing the Goenkas that Raima was in a critical state but had survived. The episode ended with Raima’s maid accusing Dev of shooting her.

In the upcoming episode, we will see everyone shocked with the maid’s accusation against Dev. He, on the other hand, will revolt and state that the maid was lying. Further, Dev will ask Mandar to check what he wants from the car. He will do the same and will plant an evidence in Dev’s car that will work against his favour. Sakshi upon knowing this will be pleased, which will be observed by Durga.

While relationships and equations are ever changing in the Bigg Boss house, this new day instilled new faith in the minds of the contestants. The contestants had a lot on their plate to think about after their conversations with the panelists which had given them perspective about what is being said outside about their behavior and conduct. Captain Ali continued to dominate the house while the contestants who are against him had taken up a full-blown rebellion. Every other member is prepared to counter attack Ali’s over obsessive captaincy.

In the afternoon, Bigg Boss announced nominations for the coming week’s evictions. This week, the contestants faced an open nominations process which took place in the garden area. Every contestant had been given the responsibility to nominate two contestants by putting a plate of foam on their faces. The nominations took an unexpected turn as the contestants focus on the thoughts that have been brewing on their minds for some time and chose contestants who had been labelled as strong and balanced minds in the house.

After the ‘vaar’ of open nominations, Bigg Boss introduced a brand-new task in the evening with the aim of bringing about some calm. The task at hand was for Pritam, an ace RJ, to host a special show called Mudda Pritam Pyaare Ka where he took up the mantle of entertaining the housemates. Pritam was seen solving some problems of the harassed housemates, while doing what he does best.

Tonight’s episode of Bigg Boss Season 8 promised to showcase a varied combination of emotions and kept up to its mark. What happens tomorrow will surely pique your interest and raise intrigue about who is really a friend and who is actually a foe!

Amidst a lot of hullabaloo, there were loads of contestants who were nominated this week…

Bringing in another twist in the nomination this week, Bigg Boss announced that it would be an open nomination. Bigg Boss also announced that each contestant would nominate two other contestants for eviction this week, only by putting foam on their faces.

Bigg Boss also announced that Ali Quli Mirza being the captain cannot be nominated. Also since Ali has already nominated Sushant Divgikar and Diandra Soares was also nominated directly by Bigg Boss for her act of violence last week, they also would not be nominated. RJ Pritam too has been nominated already, hence contestants were asked not to nominate him as well.

Eventually, after a lot of hullabaloo, seven people were nominated for the week. Along with the three already nominated contestants, four more Bigg Boss inmates were nominated for eviction this week. The four others being Minissha Lamba, Gautam Gulati, Sonali Raut and Soni Singh. While Minissha and Sonali received 5 votes each, Gautam and Soni got 4 votes.

Raman has been spying on Ishita. How will she deal with Raman’s suspicious attitude? Read on to know more…

In the last episode, we saw Abhimanyu (Summet Sachdev) informing Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) that Ashok (Sangram Singh) had provoked Sarika to file in a sexual harassment case against Romi (Aly Goni) in order to defame Raman (Karan Patel) in the process. Ishita was seen informing Abhimanyu that he shouldn’t let the same slip out in front of Raman at any cost. Further, Mihika (Mihika Verma) enticed Ashok into coming home for Karva chauth and breaking Shagun’s(Anita Hassanandani) past. The episode ended with Mihika deciding to play along in order to trap Ashok.

In the upcoming episode, we will see Raman taking a look at Ishita’s phone on the table and deciding to go through it. His conscience will tell him that what he’s doing is wrong, but he will go ahead anyway. Ishita will spot Raman going through her phone and will wonder on why he was invading her privacy.

Post her ouster from Bigg Boss 8, the timid and quiet Natasa bags a spot in her boyfriend’s team

Natasa Stankovic and Aly Goni aka Romi of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein never publicly admitted being in a relationship, but his twitter handle is a proof of their blooming romance. To add to it, tonight we witnessed the couple go hand in hand at Box Cricket League created by Marinating Films and Balaji Telefilms.

Natasa was the last minute addition to the team of Jaipur Raj Joshilay and we assume it’s being referred by her better half. It seems bade bhaiya Karan Patel and his girlfriend Kamya Punjabi (team owner) have welcomed the newbie with open arms. Throughout the launch of BCL, Natasa did not leave the side of Aly. They were seen enjoying the night, the media frenzy and all the attention.

Marinating Films and Ekta Kapoor just launched Box Cricket League 2014 (BCL), which is scheduled to go live on Sony TV sometime in November

During the press conference of BCL 2014, we heard stories about how the reality sports show will not be just about cricket. Well where Ekta is there, drama is bound to follow, right? BCL which was initiated by Marinating Films’ Sunny Arora and Anand Mishra last year has become very big this year as Ekta joined the creators and roped in Sony Entertainment Network to televise it. Ekta Kapoor said, “Box Cricket League was not my idea, it came from the two talented boys Sunny and Anand. I am here ‘coz I liked the idea. I just wanted to give a chance to the new talent.”

Well besides the excitement of watch your favourite television stars together at one time, the creators have come up with an interesting angle to make the sports reality show more entertaining. It is called the locker-room drama. Well the name surely says it all. But Ekta further explains, “It is something you should see and not talk about. From the dressing room and Kitchen room we have now come to the locker room.” Well guess the rest is up to your imagination, right?

Wethinks, BCL 2014 will eventually turn out to be like another Bigg Boss where stars are roped in to create drama, issues, tiffs and a lot of bitching. Let’s hope the sanctity of the game remains by the end of it. Stay tuned to this space for more news and gossip on BCL.

The game is getting dirty in Bigg Boss 8, it seems

Looks like it’s show time in Bigg Boss 8, where even the famous Panchayat which includes Puneet Issar, Praneet Bhatt, RJ Pritam, Ali Quli Mirza and Gautam Gulati all have secret conversations of their own.

Pritam is seen looking for his pink kurta all over the Bigg Boss house when he goes for a shower and is shocked to find it above the bathroom cabinets wrapped in a wet and dirty towel. Unsurprisingly, the kurta, in this state, is also stinking.

At the same time, Ali walks into the bathroom area and says that, he had hidden the kurta as revenge for the mirchi prank that Pritam played on him the previous night.

Hearing this, Pritam was amazed and pointed out that it was Praneet and not him who pranked Ali. When Ali realised that he had targeted the wrong person, he simply said to Pritam, “Mujhe aapki koi baat hai jo achhi nai lagi. Woh kya baat thi abhi yaad nahi aa raha hai. Isliye maine aapka kurta gayab kiya tha!”

Pritam who was very upset chose to not react at that point but walked off from there. When Pritam was discussing this turn of events with Puneet and Praneet out in the hall, Ali interrupted again.

At this moment, Pritam lost his cool and asked Ali why he hid his kurta, and what he could have possibly done to offend Ali so much. Ali was at a loss of words because he had no response to Pritam’s question and tried to calm him down.

Pritam also went on to say that Ali should stay within his limits and know his reasons well before acting negatively upon them. However, humorous as Pritam is, he was soon calm again and was seen spreading joy in the house.

However, Puneet the keen observant contestant in Bigg Boss quietly told Gautam and Praneet that, “Ali toh gaya ab. Ise pata nahi hai, isne kiske kurte ko haath lagaya hai. Pritam aisa bichhoo hai, jo mauka aane par zarur dank marega!”

And just like that, the game is on, be it friends or foes!

Marinating Films and Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms launched the Box Cricket League last night and introduced eight teams who will be playing against each other

The first time when Box Cricket League was played there were only six teams, this year two more teams have been added to the list. During the grand launch of BCL, a source informed us that Vikas Sethi, who is now part of Ahmadabad Express seemed miffed with Kamya Punjabi the owner of Jaipur Raj Joshilay.

After probing further, the source informed that apparently, Vikas was hoping to be roped in by Kamya in her team. When he confronted her about it and her reasons behind not selecting him, the actress claimed that she had no hand in selecting the team. It seems the players for Jaipur Raj Joshilay were entirely picked by Karan Patel aka Raman from Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, who also happens to be dating Kamya.

Well Vikas surely seemed disappointed, but during the group interactions Vikas was really kicked about being a part of Ahmadabad Express, or so it seemed. Stay tuned to this space for more news and gossip on Box Cricket League 2014.

Just as we thought that the two will get closer, looks like we were wrong

Bigg Boss 8 contestants Sonali Raut and Gautam Gulati have both already got their piece of joys and sorrows to share inside the house. Be it their not so appealing conversations with their fellow contestants or their “I don’t care” attitude, Sonali and Gautam have much in common. Their growing fondness towards each other has brought them closer such that their interest in each other has become common knowledge in the house. However, it has always been said that, the path of love is not easy.

After Sonali and Gautam’s quiet and intimate conversation last night, it appeared that the two will appear closer than before. But, instead of moving one step further in their relationship, we see that Sonali is being aloof and upset during the day with Gautam. When concerned Praneet Bhatt and RJ Pritam confronted Sonali about her behavior towards Gautam, she revealed that Gautam is a quite rowdy and does not know how to behave with girls. She also revealed that when she was walking to Gautam in the garden area, he playfully held Sonali by her neck like one does to their male friends and she did not like that. Praneet turning cupid for a while, went and explained the situation to Gautam.

Concerned by Sonali’s reaction, Gautam walks up to Sonali when she is lying on the couch in the living room. While speaking to her about her mood, Sonali chose to use abusive language while speaking to Gautam and asked him to leave. Gautam being patient tried to explain to Sonali that if she keeps on giving him this attitude, he will go away and she will be unable to find love in her life. He revealed that he has stayed away from relationships for close to 1.5 years because he was busy with work and now he feels that he might be ready to fall in love once more. Gautam further elaborated that Sonali needs to change the way she speaks and that she should not be so straightforward with people because it will drive clean-hearted people like him away.

Sonali kept on looking at him as if she did not care, and told Gautam that he is mad and is overreacting. Gautam is then seen losing his temper and simply dismisses the situation by telling Sonali, if she keeps on behaving like this on such petty and small situations he will definitely go away from her life and proceeds to storm off. Is this the end of the road for Gautam and Sonali’s blossoming relationship or will Sonali mend her ways and go back to being in Gautam’s good books?
