Viewers of Bigg Boss 8 have tagged Tanna as the most irritating and annoying contestant of this season

Nation’s most controversial reality show, Bigg Boss, has always managed to grabbed eyeballs with its dramatic episodes where forgotten celebrities vie with one another to come into the limelight again.

Each season has had characters that were mischief makers, lovers, cry-babies amongst many others. And the ongoing season 8 is no different. One individual who has made a name (for all the wrong reasons, of course) for herself is none other than Karishma Tanna.

As many of you will already know, one of the tasks required contestants to put chili powder and paste on their fellow inmates. As Karishma graciously obliged and applied it on Gautam Gulati, the chili was unbearable for him and he hurled abuses at her. Grabbing the opportunity, Karishma began whining and began that entire tamashaa of “National television pe mujhe gaali di hai.” Gautam did apologise a couple of times but her banter never ceased. That’s not it. She also gave a lecture on how unfairly women are treated on the Weekend episode with host Salman Khan, who defended Gautam and called Karishma’s behaviour inappropriate. And honestly, we couldn’t agree more with the Kick actor.

And that was not to be the only incident. She has had feuds with other woman in the house like Minissha Lamba, Soni Singh and Sonali Raut. In fact, in a candid conversation with Upen Patel, Sonali called Karishma “unclassy” and “a woman who has come from a slum”

Not only contestants and Salman, even viewers have called her annoying and asked Bigg Boss to eliminate her from the house. Some of them have even compared Karishma to Dolly Bindra, who is known as the most annoying character in Bigg Boss until now.

Here is an interesting scoop about Bigg Boss 8

In the last season of Bigg Boss, we saw how in one of the weekend episodes host Salman Khan confessed that Elli Avram reminded him of his ex-flame Katrina Kaif. And this year, the Kick actor seems to be bowled over Sonali Raut. In fact, just like Elli, even Sonali reminds Salman of Katrina. Well, we aren’t saying so. It’s The Xpose actress, who has revealed this recently in Bigg Boss 8. The story goes something like this…

Sushant Divgikar and Sonali were recently discussing that who is the most beautiful girl in the house. And it is during this conversation, Sonali praised herself stating she is ‘certainly beautiful’ and that Salman himself told her that in one of the looks she resembled Ranbir Kapoor’s current girlfriend.Interesting, isn’t it?

Bigg Boss has bestowed a lot of powers on the first captain of the house, Ali Quli Mirza. If all the powers thus far were not enough, Bigg Boss gave Ali another power – to fulfill the wish of one contestant!

For the same, Bigg Boss introduced a new task, Judgement Day. As a part of the task, Bigg Boss set up a special carpet in the garden area wherein each other contestant was given the opportunity to have a one-on-one conversation with Ali and convey their wishes.

While most of the homesick contestants asked for an opportunity to speak to their family members, there were a select few to asked for the smaller luxuries which they had left behind in the outside world.

Upen Patel asked for his protein shakes, Diandra Soares asked for a washing machine and hairdryer, Praneet Bhatt asked for sports shoes, t-shirts and 5 kgs of mutton. Further, Gautam Gulati too asked for his protein shakes, multani mitti and trimmer, and Puneet Issar asked for 8-10 chickens and loads of atta to make a fulfilling meal for the contestants.

With simple and extravagant requests and wishes been put forth by the contestants, Ali finds himself in a fix to decide which contestant’s wish should be fulfilled.

Who will get their wish? Will the contestants’ request for some additional food bring them relief from the limited ration that they are subjected to? Let’s wait and watch…

Prema is on to something fishy yet again, but looks like her secret will be out in the open this time

So far on Diya Aur Baati Hum, Sandhya (Deepika Singh) was seen visiting Zakir (Neil Bhatt) to get some documents signed. The terrorist leader, Baiji (Gurdeep Kohli), takes advantage of Zakir’s emotional state on being suspended under false accusation. In a bid to take him on her side, Baiji gives Zakir an important bit of information which she assures will get him his job back and also help him clear his name. Obviously, she expects a favour in return.

In the Rathi house, Vikram (Karan Goddwani) hurts his feet in haste. Though Meenakshi (Kanika Maheshwari) is worried about him, she cannot show her care since she is acting aloof. Later the Rathi family goes to mandir but Vikram stays behind to attend customers at his shop. Prema (Vindhya Tiwary) takes advantage of everybody’s absence and plans to make weapons inside the house.

Meanwhile, Sandhya catches Prabhu, the terrorist Zakir had informed about, and questions him on 23-10.

In tonight’s episode, we will see that Prema is busy making the weapons thinking that the house is empty. But little does she know that Meenakshi is already back from the temple as she was too worried about Vikram’s injury to concentrate on anything else. Meenakshi opens the door of the room where Prema is working.

And you have given your verdict. We received an amazing response to the poll with maximum number of our readers saying that it should be Karishma, who should leave Bigg Boss 8 this week.

And we aren’t surprised at all. Tanna has been receiving a lot of flak from the viewers because of her aggressive behaviour during the tasks. In fact, many have tagged her as the most annoying contestant in the history of Bigg Boss.

This week the Happy New Year cast will be seen on Kapil’s popular show

Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Farah Khan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah will entertain us this weekend. They will be promoting their upcoming musical extravaganza Happy New Year on Comedy Nights with Kapil which is hosted by none other than Kapil Sharma. Ekta Kapoor is back with another mature love story and family drama that is not just about love but love post divorce. We caught the new promo of the Balaji Telefilms’ show on Sony TV – Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar and found it rather cute.

The promo says that a divorce can happen between a husband and wife but never between the parents. However, what we found interesting is the way the promo is created using drawings in a flip book. If you remember, Darsheel Safary had used this art technique to narrate his story in Taare Zameen Par.

No matter how much they claim to hate each other, the distance between them is reducing, whether they like it or not

In the recent episode of Kumkum Bhagya, we saw how Pragya (Sriti Jha) tells Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) that he may find 100 reasons to hate her but tonight she can’t find a single reason. Well looks like Pragya’s heart is finally melting and she wants to stay married to Abhi not just to keep her mother tension free.

Abhi, on the other hand, is miffed with Pragya for not arranging for his bail in time forcing him to stay the night behind bars. However, what he is not aware of is that Pragya did everything in her power to help him and stayed the night with her husband on the other side of the wall. Back home Pragya reminisces about her time with Abhi and their good-bad times spent together.

She wonders if the emotion going through her is love or something else. Well wethinks love is inevitable and Pragya is the first one to feel the emotion and express it. We last saw him cast the charm in Diya and Tony’s Meri Bhabhi and looks like he is back in action on Zee TV’s new show

We’ve heard about Saas Bina Sasural, Sasural Simar Ka, Sasural Genda Phool and now Zee TV brings a new show titled Satrangee Sasural. The promo starts with Mugdha waiting for her boyfriend at a restaurant. Ravish Desai comes late for his date and makes an excuse that he was on a look out for a special gift for the love of his life. He goes down on one knee and gives her a ring, but unlike most guys, Ravish gives her seven rings to wear.

Well, like you, we are also wondering what is the mystery of the seven rings. Well your guess is as good as ours, wethinks it could be that his relatives have to individually accept his girl. Well frankly we will just have to wait to find out what is Satrangee Sasural all about because guessing the answer is getting us nowhere.

Gauhar will be seen on the Weekend episode of Bigg Boss 8

Gauhar Khan, who became hugely popular amongst the masses after her stint in the last season of Bigg Boss is all set to make a comeback to the high voltage reality show. Yes, you read that right!

As you will already know, makers of Bigg Boss 8 have have come up with this new concept wherein they call some of the ex-contestants of the show on the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes with host Salman Khan to interact with the current housemates. So while last time, it were Kamya Punjabi and VJ Andy, who grilled the housemates, this time it will be Gauhar, who will get to talk with the inmates. And joining her will be Sargun Mehta. Although she is not a former Bigg Boss contestant, but since she is the main lead in Colors’ Balika Vadhu, that explains a lot. Honestly, we would have loved to see Kushal Tandon along with Gauhar, but never mind. 

Don’t know about you, but we can’t wait to see Gauhar back on Bigg Boss. Last time Andy compared Karishma Tanna to Gauhar, so it will surely be interesting to see the banter between these two ladies. And of course, we are also looking forward to the interaction between India’s Raw Star host and Salman too.

Kaun Banega Crorepati 8 is soon coming to an end and a new show is all set to replace it

Kinshuk Mahajan is coming back to the small screen after a long time opposite Bani Ishq Da Kalma’s Shefali Sharma.

Well as the title suggests, the story revolves around the change in people after every stage in a relationship. In this case it is specifically about the change in partners post marriage. Well everyone knows that boyfriends change after wedding and girlfriends change after they become wives. Well Riya Aggarwal (Shefali) believes that Abhimanyu Maheshwari (Kinshuk) will never change. Is she wrong or right forms the rest of the story. Frankly, the theme doesn’t excite us much and neither does the new jodi.

It’s great to see Kinshuk back on the screen but we doubt their chemistry will be liked by the junta. Watch the promo and tell us what you think BollywoodLifers.

One more relationship, which blossomed inside the Bigg Boss house, has gone kaput

Kushal Tandon, who has always been vocal about his relationship with model-turned-actress Gauahar Khan, has announced a parting of ways. “There is nothing called gaushal guys m sorry to break the news…Gauahar n I r no more together…love and peace (sic),” Kushal tweeted Friday.

The duo’s fans named them Gaushal – a combination of their names. The news of the couple’s split surprised their fans, who sought the reason for the split.

Kushal and Gauahar grew close to each other during their stay on reality show Bigg Boss last year. Post the reality show, they also participated in an action-adventure show Khatron Ke Khiladi 5, apart from making a lot of public appearances together.

They also went for a holiday together in Goa. And more recently, the estranged couple featured in Pakistani singer Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s video of track Zaroori tha. Incidentally, the song was about break up.

Salman Khan-t let it go

The ultimate winning point of tonight’s episode, was when Salman imitated Shah Rukh Khan! Spreading his arms and giving the signature style SRK pose, the Kick actor got it bang on indeed. Not only was Salman enjoying his own performance, but found it hard to give a rest to the mimicry after all. Just when we thought its over, Salman did a second round!

The call from Saif Ali

No folks, it isn’t Saif Ali Khan we are talking about! The Snapdeal caller’s name was Saif Ali who had decided to call in for Karishma Tanna. As a part of the deal, he had bought a stick in order to gift it to Tanna, as he expressed the same to be used by her in all her tasks and some of it to be used on her as well! Calling her aggressive and hyper, the user certainly expressed his anger against Karishma loud and clear. Quite frankly, we liked that dose this doctor gave to Karishma. She needed some don’t you think?

Sonali aur uski nautanki

Things got heated up when Karishma and Diandra accused Sonali of pretending to cry during the task which happened in the house a few days ago, that had resulted in Diandra getting punished and Sonali becoming the star of the house. Sonali’s stand was however defended by host Salman, who clearly stated that it was pent up anger she was venting out and there was no pretense after all. We love it when Salman stands up for what is right always, do you agree?

Which Khan is he?

Salman Khan had to take a small contest in order to test which Khan he was, Shah Rukh, Aamir or Salman. To our surprise, the result declared that he was SRK! Well we are sure Salman didn’t mind the results and the same goes for SRK. After all, they have hugged it out already, right folks? *Wink Wink*

Before the launch of every TV show, producers promise that their show is hatke and different but very few manage to live up to the hype

Television viewing audience decide the fate of daily soaps that hit the tube. That being said, people have weird choices but we can’t truly judge them on that now, can we? After decades of the typical saas bahu drama even when makers experiment with new shows, some click some tank – it’s quite unpredictable that way.

BollywoodLife lists down five shows that started off with much fanfare and with a hatke idea but somehow didn’t have a long life.

#Yudh: Amitabh Bachchan’s debut fiction show was something we believe the entire nation was waiting for. It’s not every day when a legendary actor decides to take a break from movies to do television, right? Well the first episode of Yudh left us totally confused in our heads. As we caught a few more episodes we realised the show was indeed novel like they promised; it was, in fact, hatke- thought provoking, gripping and very today’s story But guess people were too quick to judge it as the show just didn’t pick up after the first episode. Guess it was too much for the average audience. The show garnered about 1.6 TVM for the opening episode and the average rating for the first week stood at 1.2 TVM (Television Viewership in Millions).

#24: With great gusto and thrill Anil Kapoor bought the rights of the international series, 24 and remade it for the Indian audiences. While the action was superb, the saas bahu viewing audiences just couldn’t handle mainstream action packed performances on a daily basis or even weekly. No one thought it would fail, but it did at the rating chart. The opening weekend received 3.4 TVM viewers, which dropped to 2.8 TVM by the second episode.

#Airlines: The show claimed to revolve around a female pilot and started with great promises. However, not only did it not live up to the expectation, but low quality post production was a big turn off too. The show does not have too many fans, and if rumours are to be believed it’s on it’s way to a close very soon. Two weeks back the show’s TVM recorded a 2.4 viewership, which came down to 1.4 TVM last week.

#Saraswatichandra: The launch of the show was a mega grand event, but two months into the show and people were ready to sign it off. The show changed hands and for a short while the numbers surprisingly went up, but not for long. In spite of having a hit pair like Gautam Rode and Jennifer Winget the show was just about mediocre in terms of its content. The show ended at 3.8 TVM after the last episode went on air on September 20, 2014.

#Fanaah: The vampire-werewolf show created a lot of hype before going on air. They promised the youth would connect to it and that it would be very different from the international vampire shows. The show started, barely ran for 40 days and before we knew it, the makers decided to shut shop. It would be the shortest time in the history of television shows that a daily soap ran for barely a month. Need we say more…

Whenever Shah Rukh Khan has graced Kapil Sharma’s popular show Comedy Nights with Kapil, the actor has always entertained the audience thoroughly with his wit and antics. But this time you’re going to laugh your heart out because of his Happy New Year co-star Vivaan Shah. The Serbian beauty has become the third contestant to bid adieu to Bigg Boss 8

Natasa Stankovic, the foreign import of Bigg Boss season 8, has been shown the exit door of the Bigg Boss house. And honestly, we aren’t surprised at all.

Hindi language posed a problem for Natasa, as she faced trouble communicating with her co-passengers making her a recluse to the rest of them. If that was not enough, Natasa was also having a difficult time adjusting to the meal provided, making her stay even more strenuous.

Since all of the contestants gelled with each other so well, they seemed to notice the difficulties faced by Natasa in surviving this journey. And even the viewers didn’t save her, as she received the less number of votes, thereby becoming the third celebrity to bid adieu to Bigg Boss 8, after Sukirti Kandpal and Deepshikha Nagpal.

MTV Splitsvilla 7 is about to witness its grand finale in the coming week. Yesterday’s episode saw its first round where Khushi and Abhishek were sent to the finale directly, courtesy the support they got from their villa mates who voted for the couple. Things however weren’t in favour of Shravan-Dana and Mayank-Scarlett who had to prove themselves in order to make to the finals.The competition was a tough one indeed, where the task was that of a treasure hunt. The winners were Mayank Gandhi and Scarlett Rose who will be seen competing with Abhishek and Khushi in next week’s finale.

Shravan aka the former “Mad King” certainly doesn’t like to lose and he proved the same. Fuming over his defeat in the competition, Shravan was seen throwing an article (a jewel)he had picked up during the task. The Mad King had intended to throw it at the wall but instead it hit Sunny Leone! Oops!
