Star Plus’s hit show has achieved a new milestone. Read on to know more!

India’s popular TV channel Star Plus is certainly on a roll. We recently informed you that its hit show Diya Aur Baati Hum completed 1000 episodes yesterday. Well Hina Khan and Karan Mehra’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is ahead of the game and has managed to complete 1700 episodes! The show which started in the year 2009 showcases the daily life of Singhania family.Talking about the same, producer Rajan Shahi said,” It has been a very enriching journey and the full team including cast, crew and unit together is all charged and motivated to take it forward and on behalf of the entire team, I want to thank the fans and well-wishers for their support and encouragement.”

He further added saying, “I want to thank all the actors, crew and unit for being together as one team in the last six years and supporting each other. This spirit of oneness is one the most outstanding feature of YRKKH team.”

Karan Mehra who plays Naitik on the show tweeted, “1700 episodes and still counting. Thanku all for your LOVE & SUPPORT.”

Shagun has decided to use Ruhi as her pawn in order to make a living. What will Raman and Ishita do about this? Read on to find out!

In the last episode, we saw Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) declaring that Ruhi will be staying with Shagun (Anita Hassanandani) and not her. The latter was shattered upon knowing that her Ishima had betrayed her. The court stated that since Ishita had herself decided to let go off Ruhi, her custody will be assigned to Shagun till both parties mutually decide on a settlement. Later, Raman (Karan Patel) assured Ishita that he would bring Ruhi back at any cost. The latter fell sick and was asked to take rest. The episode ended with Raman stating that he would not be paying for Ruhi’s expenses.In the upcoming episode, we will see the sly Ashok coming up with a plan to manipulate Shagun as well as Ruhi. He will advise Shagun to enroll Ruhi as a model for his company’s ad campaign. He will then ask Shagun to live off the money Ruhi will make during the campaign! Raman will learn about the same and will be furious at the way Shagun is using Ruhi for her own needs.

How will he react? Will he tell Ishita and the two confront Shagun about it all? Stay tuned to find out!

Shah Rukh Khan returned to the silver screen with game show India Poochega Sabse Shaana Kaun which is being featured on &TV. The episodes often have celebrity guests coming in and adding a fun element to the show with their quirkiness. The upcoming episode will have popular TV actors Rithvik Dhanjani and Karan Wahi, where the two will be seen indulging in some goofiness with host, King Khan.

During the shoot of the episode, SRK asked the duo whether they saw some of the saas bahu serials to which the latter replied that they are “forced to!” SRK then said that since he doesn’t watch them he would require the two to act for him. A hilarious sequence followed where the superstar played the husband, Rithvik his mother and Karan his wife! A funny picture indeed, eh? The task assigned to the two actors was to convince SRK- their “husband”- to have the home cooked food prepared by them. They fought over on whose food should the superstar have first and at this point SRK resolved the fight, stating that he had ordered pizza. Lol!

Post this, another interesting sequence followed where SRK declared Rithvik and Karan as the most eligible bachelors in town and asked them to woo a girl from the audience. After the two failed to do the same, SRK being the king of romance charmed the girl by dancing with her to the song from his film Mohabbatein!

The celebrity box cricket league is back after a successful season one

Last year Marinating Films and Balaji Telefilms joined hands to introduce the first of its kind Box Cricket League on national television. It was indeed a big success as it had over 150 television artists come together to play cricket.

What made BCL stand out was that it evened the playing field for both men and women. There were eight teams with both boys and girls from the telly industry. We’ve just heard that the season 2 is all set to start. We caught up with Sunny Arora of Marinating films to find out more. “Yes we are coming back with a season 2 of Box Cricket League soon. But when, where and how is something I will tell you in time,” said Sunny.

It will be interesting to see the mix of cricket and drama on the small screen with telly actors. Last season turned several friends into foes, created new love stories and broke a few relationships. Wonder what the new season will bring forward.

BBC Worldwide Productions has come up with a new concept for their youth show

Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan is starting a social movement for women empowerment – #ItsNotUsItsYou which basically emphasises that no woman should be judged on what they wear or how they behave.

For this special episode, the makers of the show roped in Sunny Leone to make a cameo appearance. Sunny shot for the special sequence today. However, we hear that’s not the real reason why the actress came on the show.

A source close to the show informed, that Sunny was mainly there to promote her new show. MTV is coming back with the season 8 of Splitsvilla and Sunny came on the show to talk and promote that. Talk about killing two birds with one stone.

We caught up with Charlie Chauhan aka Mukti to find out her experience shooting with Sunny, she said, “There is no doubt that Sunny is very beautiful, but more than that she is very sweet and extremely down to earth. We had a great time shooting with her.”

India Poochega Sabse Shaana Kaun’s next episode is indeed going to be rib tickling

Shah Rukh Khan has two very hot guests on his show India Poochega Sabse Shaana Kaun aired on &TV –Rithvik Dhanjani and Karan Wahi.

Just to rag them, SRK gives them a task. They had to act out a sequence from daily soaps. Rithvik has to pose as a mother and Karan had to be the wife. They both had to convince Shah Rukh, who is their son and husband respectively, to eat their home cooked meal. Of course, both Dhanjani and Wahi try their best to convince SRK by talking, by jumping on him and shoving the other away.

Unfortunately, neither of the boys manage to woo the Happy New Year actor with their efforts. Shah Rukh breaks them up, and tells them that neither one has really cooked anything for him. With a backpack in his hands, he says fortunately he managed to get some pizza home. As Shahrukh cuts to break, Rithvik lifts SRK and carries him away leaving the audience in splits and the Baadshah shocked!

We finally have a winner among the five actors we suggested opposite Surbhi Jyoti

A while ago we put out a poll to decide who would look best opposite Surbhi Jyoti. We got a great response from Qubool Hai fans and we now have a winner. Vivian DSena wins the poll with a 38.14 per cent votes in his favour. If you ask us, we agree with people’s choice ‘coz they really do look great together. While Vivian may not be the perfect replacement for Karanvir Bohra, this is as close as the makers can get, right?

Rithvik Dhanjani came in second with about 23.86 per cent votes followed by Karan V Grover at 17.73 percent. For us Vivian and Rithvik were the best candidates opposite Surbhi.

Ashish Sharma and Rahul Sharma came in fourth and fifth with 15.06 and 5.21 percent votes. Several Qubool Hai fans are still revolting against Karavir Bohra’s exit from the show. Like us, they don’t want the dishy actor to leave Qubool Hai, but there’s only so much we can do, right?

It’s absolutely disgusting how well educated boys behave these days

The team of Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan was at Thakur College in Kandivali shooting for a very important sequence long with Sunny Leone. The current track in the show focuses on how women are judged on the basis of what they wear. So Nandini (Niti Taylor), Navya (Veebha Anand), Mukti (Charlie Chauhan) and Aaliya (Krissann Barretto) raise their voice against the thought of the society.

They organised a slut walk dressed in short and sexy clothes – claiming they have the right to wear what they want to. Sunny Leone joined the cast of KY2 - Dishank Arora, Parth Samthaan, Ayaz Ahmed and Utkarsh Gupta along with the girls to extend her support for the cause.

Apparently, the engineering students from Thakur College (Kandivali) started passing sleazy comments on Charlie, Niti, Krissann and Veebha. The girls asked them to shut up and walked away. But they were irritated on seeing the crass behaviour of boys from a reputed college.

They went to the green room and vented their frustration in a video and posted it on social networking sites. Take a look at what they have to say.

She is hell bent on sacrificing her life and love for Ranveer, but will her lawyer agree?

Ishaani (Radhika Madan) took the blame of killing Chirag (Ravjeet Singh) because she thought Ranveer (Shakti Arora) had killed him in rage. She takes the blame and the court gives her the death penalty. After eight months, her case comes up for a hearing again but Ishaani does not change her story.

Ranveer who is now married to Ritika (Smriti Khanna) is still in love with Ishaani. Ranveer’s lawyer friend Shikhar Mehra (Arjun Bijlani) gets Ishani’s case. But Ishaani still refuses to corporate. Anyway from what we hear, Shikhar wins the case and proves Ishaani innocent. However, when Ishaani goes back home, she realises that Ranveer is already married to Ritika. She decides to move away from him as soon as possible so that RV can get on with his life.

Ishaani realises that she has nothing to live for and hence decides to end her life. She goes towards the beach and tries to commit suicide. But Shikhar, who is by now very fascinated by Ishaani and her love comes right at the moment and rescues Ishaani from killing herself.

What does life have in store for Ishaani? Is this the start of Ishaani and Shikhar’s story? Will RV really move on? Guess we’ll soon find out.

Raman and Ishita can’t seem to think straight on what they should or shouldn’t do. Well here’s where I come in the picture!

Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’s Raman (Karan Patel) and Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) are coming across has dimwitted blokes who don’t know how to react in critical situations. Be it letting go off Ruhi or obliging to Shagun (Anita Hassanandani) at the drop of hat, IshRa aren’t coming across as sensible people who know their game. Hence, I suggest 5 things which this coupe needs to do ASAP:

Tell Shagun to f**k off

I still fail to understand why Ishita and Raman let Shagun use them like puppets. The vamp has barged into the Bhalla house and is using every opportunity to screw the two over. Instead of telling her to buzz off, IshRa sit back and let the evil Shagun implement her mind games. Raman and Ishita, it’s high time you tell Shagun to f**k off!

Get Ruhi back

While I feel Ishita and Raman were dumb enough to let Ruhi go, they NEED to get her back soon. The more they wait over it, the more Shagun will use the latter to her advantage. Ashok has already advised Shagun to live off Ruhi’s earnings by making her a model for his company’s ad campaign.

Take Ashok down

Apart from telling Shagun to leave the scene soon, Raman and Ishita should teach Ashok a lesson. Nothing is more thrilling for viewers to see other than the villains being taught a lesson on screen. Raman has been employed by Ashok in his company and the latter is under his thumb. When will Raman stop stooping for others and get a spine?

Bring Mihika home

Instead of trying to figure out why Mihika has married Ashok, Raman and Ishita have settled with whatever stories the former has told the. Why? Shouldn’t IshRa dig deeper into what is the real reason and reunite Mihir with Mihika? It seems Mihir has been kicked out of the picture and Mihika’s track has been left unfinished.

Take a decision regarding Aditya

Raman and Ishita have been mulling over what they have to do with Aditya. They can’t keep him with them forever as he is Shagun’s child. They can’t even leave him with her, as she hasn’t been the best mother to him per say. But time is running out and Aditya is troubled. Raman and Ishita need to take a decision soon. Instead of playing exchange- exchange with Aditya and Ruhi, I say they keep Aditya with them by seeking his custody and end this saga once and for all.

Sandhya delivered twins recently. What compelled her to leave them along with hubby Sooraj? Read on to find out!

In the last episode, we saw the godh bharai ceremony taking place at the Rathi household. Chhavi named one of Sandhya’s(Deepika Singh) sons Ved. The pandit asked Sandhya to name Ankur and Ankita’s son. The latter happily obliged and named the son Vansh. The flashback showed a conversation between Sandhya and Bhabho (Neelu Vaghela) where the latter asked her to name her kids the same. The episode ended with Sandhya and Sooraj (Anas Rashid) handing over the adoption documents to Ankur- Ankita and them writing a letter to Vansh!

In the upcoming episode, we will see Sandhya parting ways with Sooraj. Relax folks Sandhya and Sooraj aren’t splitting up. The latter would be seen going on a posting for four years and the show will take a leap of 6 years where Sandhya would return home after her posting and will see her son Ved all grown up. Ved will be closer to Sooraj and will warm up to Sandhya gradually. He would demand to be sent to an international school.

As the days progress, the challenges become tougher – let’s see who lasts till the end

Khatron Ke Khiladi 6 stunts have been a notch above the previous season, which is exactly what makes it a fun watch. Besides the stunts, this year the contestants are also tougher and have a much stronger will power.

This week host Rohit Shetty gives Iqbal Khan a task but throughout his task there will be two people who will try to stop him from doing anything. Initially they start with paint bullets, and then they resort to electrocuting Iqbal. Ouch! The challenge will get tougher till he completes it.

From the promo, we gauge that Iqbal completes the task with great difficulty. But the task really gets him emotional. In the end when Rohit hugs Iqbal, he simply breaks down and cries bitterly. Aww….

Gopi has decided to go live in the chawl to take care of her mother. How will Ahem react?

In the last episode, we saw Kokila (Rupatl Patel) expressing her displeasure with Meera and Vidya. Urmila on the other hand was seen pretending to be mentally ill in front of the Modi family members. Hetal in the meanwhile was seen advising Paridhi to not indulge in an argument with Kinjal. A shocking twist came in when Kokila suffered a heart attack upon learning that Ahem had declared to get engaged to Mansi!

In the upcoming episode we will see Gopi deciding to return to the chawl in order to take care of her other. Ahem, Meera, Vidya and Mansi will decide to stay with Gopi in order to take care of her. Ahem will stop Gopi from going to the chawl initially but the latter would go anyway, stating that her mother needs her.

The actor spoke about his first income at his show India Poochega Sabse Shaana Kaun

Shah Rukh Khan may be the king of B-town today but the actor has gone through the grind much like the aam janta on a daily basis. The actor while shooting for the finale episode of his show India Poochega Sabse Shaana Kaun got candid with the audience and revealed some rather shocking details regarding his first job and the income he received for it.Did you know that SRK worked as a ticket seller at a theater? That’s right folks and guess what his income was…Rs 50! That’s surely peanuts in comparison with the crores he makes today. SRK spoke at length about his experience as a ticket seller and the mere salary of Rs 50 which he earned out of his profession.

The finale episode which will feature Alia Bhatt, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar and will be aired on March 27 on &TV. Their relationship is already on tether’s end, but Yash’s new move will push the couple more apart

For the uninitiated, Roshini (Nia Sharma) has been angry and upset with Sid (Ravi Dubey) for insulting her family, tricking them into handing over their entire property to the Khurranas and mainly for hiding his true identity. The differences between the couple created the rift between them. Their fights and misunderstandings crossed all limits and the couple decided to get a divorce. During the court hearing, the judge asked the couple to stay together for one last time for three months and then decide.

In the last few episodes of Jamai Raja, Roshini (Nia Sharma) had begun living with the Khurranas and the distance between the two had started to reduce. But when DD (Achint Kaur) filed a case against the Khurranas, their relationship again got sour. However, somewhere in the back of his mind Sid knew that Roshini will never do anything like that.  Sid tells his wife that he knows, Roshini knowingly will never insult his family and that’s the difference between the two of them.

In the upcoming episode, Roshini and Sid will come closer to each other emotionally and physically. And just when we thought that things would finally get better between the love birds, the opposite happens. According to the latest promo, Sid finds Yash (Mohit Malhotra) in Roshini’s room in unmentionable conditions. He questions Roshini, but she is as stunned as Sid.

Raman has betrayed Ishita. How will the latter react? Read on to find out!

In the last episode, we saw Shagun (Anita Hassanandani) being furious over the fact that she had been brought to the same restaurant where Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) was. Mihir (Raj Singh Arora) tried to calm her down but the latter kept fuming. Meanwhile, Mr Kapadia was seen informing Ashok and Raman that he would like to sign Ruhi as the brand ambassador for the company’s ad campaign. A twist in the tale came in when the bank confiscated Shagun’s car! Later, Ashok’s associate entered Mihika’s house, posing as a person representing a health campaign. The episode ended on a shocking note where Mihika fainted from the vaccine provided to her and the associate taking her in an unconscious state for abortion. The doctor informed Ashok and Sooraj that Mihika isn’t expecting a baby.

In the upcoming episode, we will see Ishita learning the truth about Raman (Karan Patel) and his job. She will come to know that Raman works for Ashok and will be shell shocked with the fact that the latter never informed her. Further, she will also learn about Ruhi’s ad campaign and will be shattered to know that her kid is being used by Ashok and Shagun for their selfish needs.

The impossible has happen on Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya…

For long now viewers have been betting about who will propose first on Kumkum Bhagya. And guess what Pragya beat Abhi this time around. When our hero is busy figuring out his life and relationships. But the big question now is will Abhi accept his wife’s official proposal? Or will he be confused as usual? Here’s what we think will unfold on the show….

One possibility is that Abhi will realise his feelings for Pragya and declare his love for her, just like she did. He will admit that he was an ass who didn’t realise the worth of true love. Abhi will finally know that his girlfriend Tanu is nothing but a dummy who is happy being a part of his successful career. While Pragya is the one he’s meant to spend his happily ever after with. But, if Indian television soaps were so simple then we wouldn’t really need to survive episodes after episodes. So here’s another option…

Abhi will be confused about his feelings towards Pragya. He will feel awkward around her. There will be that guilt of Pragya risking her life and saving him. He’s indebted coz Pragya has given him a new life and so he owes her a reciprocation of feelings, while in reality he does love her. But with Tanu also in picture he will remain messed in his head for another zillion episodes and cry buckets of water along with his biwi on the show.

The third could be that he will not accept her proposal immediately, but will slowly and gradually feel more and more attracted towards her. Which will be the most easy thing for the show’s writers. Who can pen more and more episodes on intimate scenes between the couple and escalate it to a much hyped lovemaking scene between the two. Also there will be Tanu’s jealousy angle and Aaliya’s revenge that will be woven in with utmost mediocrity. We will not be surprised if Tanu will falsely allege’ Main Abhi ke bachche ki maa banne wali hoon‘, while Pragya has conceived Abhi‘s child and make matters worse for the couple.

The episode ended on a worrisome note when Sandhya-Sooraj were informed that Ankur and Ankita had taken Vansh to the hospital.

In the upcoming episode, we will see Sandhya and Sooraj being shocked upon being informed by Ankur that Vansh is missing from the hospital! Ankur will blame Bhabho, stating that she is the one who took Vansh home. The latter will defend herself saying that she gave them Vansh with her own will hence would never take him back. Sandhya will stand up for Bhabho and will ask Ankur to calm down. A shocking twist in the tale will come in when Vansh and Ved both would go missing!
