Jealous of Sanskaar’s love for Swara, Ragini plants a bomb in his car

Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) has decided to wreak havoc in Swara’s (Helly Shah) life in the coming episodes. She will insist on them Lakshya (Namish Taneja), Swara and her to go to the farmhouse. There, she will tell Swara and Lakshya to sit in the bedroom and resolve their differences. They will be alone in the room and be shown having a long conversation. Sanskaar’s mom, Sujata (Sonica Handa) and Annapurna (Shalini Kapoor) will follow them and see this proximity between Swara and Lakshya. Sujata will be unhappy as she feels Swara is betraying Sanskaar (Varun Kapoor), who is still married to her. Even Annapurna will be highly disturbed.

We will see Sanskaar coming to the farm house, where he sees Lakshya and Swara having a friendly conversation. He will feel jealous and walk away. Later, Lakshya will agree to give a second chance to Ragini and Swara too will make a pact to return to his life if things go awry. Sanskaar, in the mean time, will decide to divorce Swara so that she can resume her relationship with Lakshya without any guilt. But Swara will be reluctant to sign the divorce papers as she does not want to return to Lakshya’s life as his wife. Moreover, she is also realizing her feelings for Sanskaar.

Ragini will be burning with hatred as she knows that Swara is loved by both Lakshya and Sanskaar while she has no one. She will plant a bomb in Sanskaar’s car in the coming episodes. Will Swara manage to save him or will he be eliminated as per Ragini’s plan?

Diwali is a time for splurging on sweets, clothes, jewellery, home décor and what not. But what about those who have to go to sleep on an empty stomach? Our TV celebs are always there to support a good cause and heartthrob Karan Wahi’s latest initiative will surely warm your hearts.

The actor-anchor has started an initiative called ‘Spread A Smile’ that urges people to donate generously towards the poor. Karan feels the excessive money spent on crackers, card parties and sweets can be used for charity, especially to provide edible items to street children, who have to forage daily for food. The actor has also spoken about his initiative on his social networking site. Karan is also planning to get some T-shirts made to be distributed amongst the poor. A number of his celebrity friends have joined him in the initiative.

The actor says that instead of donating money to street children, it’s better to give food items as they can be consumed directly. With money, no one is sure about where it is going. Rithvik Dhanjani and Karishma Kotak have come out in support of Karan’s initiative to do something for the under-privileged.

It is indeed heartening to see Karan take this step and needless to say, his social media accounts are overflowing with lovely messages congratulating him for his efforts. On the professional front, he is busy with Comedy Nights Bachao, where he is doing stand up comedy for the first time. It is said that young India is changing and Karan is reflective of our times.

If this news is indeed true, then Ayaz Ahmed will have the most drastic role makeover in Indian television in the current year. All of us know him as Cabir from the cult youth show, Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan. The actor played a gay character with panache and was even shown kissing his love interest, Raghav on the show. Many fans hailed him as they felt it was a bold move by the young actor to take on such a challenging part. After attaining so much popularity on the iconic show, one would have expected Ayaz to stick to a more contemporary show, he has moved to a completely new genre – a socio-mytho one. Rumours are floating around that he will play the main lead opposite Ratan Rajput in Jai Santoshi Maa, which is produced by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms. It will be telecast on &TV from end of November. Ayaz will be seen in the role of a small-town guy who falls for Ratan, who is an ardent devotee of Goddess Santoshi Maa. Actress Gracy Singh of Lagaan fame will play the role of the goddess. It also has Juhi Parmar, Smriti Khanna (Ritika of Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi) and Sachin Shroff in main roles.

With his birthday and Diwali coinciding together, Ganesh Hegde threw a small party as a form of double celebration. In fact, the party continued for two-three days though he did not do anything lavish per se. Along with his friends and family members, he also invited a few contestants of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded to his residence. We spotted Vivian Dsena and Vahbbiz Dorabjee and Mohit Malik with his wife, Addite Shirwaikar. We cannot help but notice how dapper Mohit is looking in the blue shirt teamed with a metallic bandhgala. Even Addite is colour co-ordinated in a blue saree. While Vahbbiz looks cute in an orange anarkali, Vivian simply rocks the simple blue kurta. Hotness personified! Vahbbiz later posted on her Instagram page how delighted she was to meet Manoj Bajpayee, who was also present at the party.

While the dance guru’s party was in the evening, he began the day with a visit to the Siddhivinayak Temple. Then, he celebrated his birthday at an orphanage. Since he was missing the closely knitted Jhalak team, he invited all his Jhalak celebs for a reunion at his residence.

We revealed to you today morning that Suyyash Rai will be crowned the new captain of the Bigg Boss 9 house after a hard fought battle with Prince Narula and Rochelle Maria Rao. And while everyone will be rejoicing, Suyyash will start plotting his next move to make himself the top contender of the game. If you remember, some housemates were forced to sleep without their beds last week. Today again, Suyyash will be asked to nominate two most disobedient members of the Bigg Boss house who do not follow the rules. And while everyone, including us thought he would nominate Rishabh Sinha and Mandana Karimi (they broke so many rules of the Bigg Boss house last week), he in fact will nominate his competitors from the task in the morning, Prince and Rochelle.

So, now Prince and Rochelle will have to sleep on the floor as their beds will be taken away. But why did Suyyash nominate them?

While we don’t know the exact reason, we just feel he wanted to take revenge from them. Why? We also don’t know till now. After being pelted with paint, Prince and Rochelle will sleep on the floor, while the other members who lost their beds last week will get them back now. At a time when finite series are becoming popular on Hindi television, Star Plus’ primetime TV show “Diya Aur Baati Hum” has logged 1,200 episodes – the last timed with Diwali. In its fourth year of telecast, the show has witnessed various ups and downs in the lives of its lead pair Sandhya (Deepika Singh) and Sooraj (Anas Rashid). The actors have enjoyed their time on the show, which is about a loving husband who helps his ambitious wife achieve her dreams of becoming an IPS officer.

“The journey on ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum‘ has been phenomenal. Our entire team works day in and day out to ensure that every episode continues to entertain the audiences. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all the fans of the show for their unconditional love and support for the show,” Deepika said in a statement.

“It feels like yesterday that we started and today we’ve completed 1,200 episodes. The journey has been full of love and hope it continues to be the same,” she added.

On the occasion of Shanti Havan, Ishita tries to find out who is helping Ashok

There is more intrigue, drama and revelations in store for the viewers of Yeh Hain Mohabbatein. We have seen how Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) and Shagun (Anita Hasanandani) have teamed up to expose Ashok’s devious plan to kill Raman (Karan Patel). ACP Abhishek (Vivek Dahiya) is helping them in this endeavour. They want to find out who is the woman who has a sprained hand and link her to Ashok.

In the coming episodes, we will see Ishita and Shagun trying to unveil Simmi’s secret. When everyone gathers for the Shanti Puja, Inspector Abhishek will look for the woman who has a hand sprained. Viewers will remember that a grinding stone was flung at Raman and Shagun said that whoever lifted it must be having an injured hand. Ishita is also noticing Simmi’s weird behaviour since quite some time but she is unable to believe that she would conspire to kill her brother, Raman. As per sources, she is not exactly planning to kill him but is hiding some secret from the Bhalla family. In the mean time, Ishita has confided her plans to Bala’s mother (Shruti Bapna) about exposing Raman’s killers.

It looks like the male celebrities took this line to heart while getting dressed for Ekta Kapoor’s Diwali bash this year. While some of you will argue that when it comes to ethnic wear, men have very few options and one can’t obviously don the dhoti! However, spotting not one, not two but around five celebs in almost identical black Pathani suits at the same party was a little too much. The black Pathani was been a favourite at Diwali parties this year. Shah Rukh Khan rocked a simple black Pathani at Amitabh Bachchan’s Diwali bash. At Ekta’s bash, we saw Arjun Bijlani wearing a black Pathani with a hint of shimmer on the neckline. His black stood out in stark contrast to his co-star Mouni Roy’s festive red look. Gautam Gupta, who is popularly known as Sharman from Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi and Madhavan from Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan also donned a simple black Pathani. Sushant Singh Rajput and Saqib Saleem also wore black pathani but with fitted churidars.

It looks like the wait is finally over for those who wanted to see Parth Samthaan aka Manik Malhotra of Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan on the big screen. The handsome hunk has been signed opposite Sanah Kapoor for a comedy produced by Subhash Singh. It will be a family affair for Sanah as her parents, Pankaj Kapur and Supriya Pathak and aunt, Ratna Pathak Shah are also part of the project. Bollywood beauties like Katrina Kaif, Raveena Tandon, Karisma Kapoor and Salman Khan might do cameos in the film. It will be directed by Karan Kashyap who has earlier assisted Mani Ratnam. Naseeruddin Shah is expected to do a cameo in the film. The film will be titled either Atrangay or Too Much Mach Mach. Film writer Dilip Shukla who has penned the cult film, Andaz Apna Apna and Dabangg will write the script. The only person missing is Shahid Kapoor, who also might make an appearance in the film. Looks like Parth’s film debut is going to be really big? The story will revolve around two sisters who are plagued by insecurity after being hitched in the same household. Considering that fans love Parth in rom-com moments, it looks like it will be good launch pad for the youth icon.

Yes, Vibhav Roy and Shritama Mukherjee who play Raj and Koyal in Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan have been shown the door. As per reports, the makers took this rather harsh decision as the TRPs of the show were quite low. Talking to a leading daily, Shritama said that there are issues but there is no clarity so far. She further said she won’t be disheartened as she has put in her best efforts.

In order to inject a fresh lease of life, Aly Goni and Asha Negi have been short-listed to portray Raj and Koyal. Viewers will know Aly as Romi Omprakash Bhalla of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. Ruhi is upset that Shagun (Anita Hasnandani) has called Ishita her daughter’s aaya though the latter is hardly affected by it. Taking it to heart, Ruhi calls her and tells her to get her hair done like Priyanka Chopra even if it means spending all of dad’s money.

In one memorable scene of childhood rebellion, Ruhi refuses to eat at a restaurant and later says that she wants to go home alone. Even as a six-year-old, she understood that it was incorrect of Raman to make Ishita apologise to Aditya.

Most contestants feel that Mandana Karimi is the most fake housemate

One of the biggest challenges of staying inside the Bigg Boss house is that you can’t hide your true self for a really long time. After all, one has to be there for 90 days! However, every season we see contestants accusing each other of being fake and hiding their true personalities from the camera. It is a common allegation that was hurled by the contestants on each other this year as well.

Tonight, Bigg Boss will be providing them a Fake-O-Meter and they have to rate each other with help of that scale. Every housemate has to rank two fake and two real contestants besides him or her. They also have to justify their action and statements. Do we see tempers flaring tonight?

It was not surprising to see a number of people calling Mandana Karimi fake. The Iranian beauty has managed to rub off people the wrong way. Kishwer Merchantt, Rishabh Sinha, Rimi Sen, Puneet Vashishtha, Digangana Suryavanshi, Prince Narula were some of those who called her fake. In fact, Prince and Kishwer called Mandana 100 per cent fake on the show. Rochelle Maria Rao is another person who has serious image issues. Quite a few people feel she’s projecting her true self before the camera. The youngest lady of the house, Digangana Suryavanshi is perceived as the most honest one. Many also feel that Rimi Sen is very genuine.

The Bigg Boss 8 winner gave his views on the contestants of this season

TV star Gautam Gulati, the winner of “Bigg Boss 8″, says he likes Iranian beauty Mandana Karimi and model Rochelle Rao the most on the show’s ninth season and feels they will go ahead in the game.

Gautam, however, also thinks that the two need to check their temper if they want to survive in the Bigg Boss house.

The 27-year-old actor will be seen tomorrow on the show as a panelist.

“Mandana and Rochelle are my favourites in the house. They are good looking girls, speak well, put efforts during tasks and also have innocence.

“They can’t take much nonsense and get angry easily. They react. Mandana can win if she stops reacting.. She gets angry and becomes stubborn. Rochelle also has the qualities to go to the top,” Gautam told PTI.

“The Big F” host is also fond of Aman Verma and said the TV actor has a strong chance of winning the show.

“I think Aman can give strong competition to Rochelle and Mandana. It wouldn’t be surprising if Aman wins the game. He went bald during a task and that’s a big thing for an actor. That shows his dedication towards the show. Mandana, Rochelle and Aman should go till the end,” he said.

Gautam feels actress Kishwer Merchant “nags” a lot and as a viewer he does not enjoy that.

“I don’t have any personal problem with anyone. I don’t know many of them. But I don’t like how Kishwer nags. She screams while talking and I don’t think that’s a good way to talk. Also, it is not nice to spit in someone’s drink. All this does not make you a hero.”

Gautam called wild card entrant Rishabh Sinha a good guy and said he is doing well on the show. When asked his view on this season’s contestants, Gautam said, “People don’t really know what to do, which is good too as that allows you to be yourself. But they are not letting their true personalities even after one month.”

“Also, I feel entertainment quotient should be upped. This time contestants leave the task in between, while we used to do for hours.”

It has been an interesting and entertaining week so far in Bigg Boss 9  as the wild card entries and the unique tasks have heated up the competition. The Diwali celebrations and gifts added to the joy of the contestants. However as the weekend arrives, all the contestants are prepared for getting some gyaan from Salman Khan and at the same time face eliminations. While the wild card entries Puneet Vashishta and Rishabh Sinha shook the house last week, after initial few days they have simmered down a bit. Rishabh, being the captain, was declared safe from nominations, but Puneet got nominated in the first week of his entry itself. However, he will be given a bigger shock tomorrow!

Salman Khan will reveal to Puneet that he has been eliminated from the competition. He will be stunned, but will make his way out of the house. We have to mention that Puneet showed a lot of promise and he had given all the housemates including Rishabh Sinha a tough time, but we guess the audience didn’t like him enough and he will be eliminated tomorrow with the least number of votes.

Puneet was one of the contestants, who called a spade a spade and he helped his team win tasks too (he helped team white win the Garnier challenge and many more tasks too). During his time in the house he was involved in a few fights too, how can we forget his showdown with Rishabh that happened yesterday. The housemates did consider him crazy, but he was an entertaining contestant.

Salman had also grilled him last week for his comments about SRK and Salman wanting him to work with him after he comes out! We guess his dream might not be realised. Or will it?

The finale episode of the show was high on adrenaline and bonhomie

Rannvijay Singh Singha and Sunny Leone welcomed the contestants for the finale of the show. The six who made it to top were Anuki Tchokhonelidze, Prince Narula, Zaan Khan, Karishma Talwar, Utkarsh Gupta and Sana Sayyad. Here are some of the show’s highlights…

It was Sunny Leone’s jig to the number Laila that had everyone grooving. She looked ravishing in a white and gold lehenga choli.

The first task before the contestants was to dance before a crowd. Prince-Anuki, Zaan-Karishma and Utkarsh-Sana were paired together for it. Prince-Anuki danced to Saree Ke Fall Sa while Zaan and Karishma grooved to It’s The Time To Disco.

Zaan-Karishma did well but it was Utkarsh and Sana’s act that people loved. Utkarsh did his lifts, flips and moves with great proficiency. They danced to Zehnaseeb from Hasee Toh Phasee.

Sana suffered a wardrobe malfunction and Utkarsh handled the situation with finesse. He gave time to her to settle her outfit while he entertained doing an impromptu with Karishma and Anuki.

After this task, the audience voted Prince-Anuki and Utkarsh-Sana as the finalists. Zaan said he was disappointed not to make it to the finals while Karishma said she felt a strong connection for Prince. She was very emotional and he hugged her.

The second task was high on physical activity. Anuki and Sana were tied to a post and the guys had to overcome hurdles and unlock them. They were blindfolded in the task. Prince did it faster than Utkarsh but it was Sana-Utkarsh who fared better in second leg of the task where the girls had to crawl through a barrier by digging the sand.

However, it was Prince and Anuki who came up trumps at the last leg where they had to break a box and find the crown.

Mandana and Rochelle called are most fake

The show started today with a Fake – o – meter introduced in the house. In this task, each inmate was asked to pick two most fake and most real member of the Bigg Boss house. At the end of the task, Rochelle and Mandana were termed as the most fake while Rimi Sen and Digangana Suryavanshi are the most real people.

Salman Ki Adalat

Salman turned prosecutor and turned the Bigg Boss house into a courtroom when decided to grill the contestants one by one. He made all the inmates of the house to sit behind the railing and then called one by one to come at accused and accuser’s stand. It was very clear that Salman was in full mood to teach lesson to the contestants of the house.

Post mortem of Mandana’s kick to Kishwer

The highlight of tonight’s show has to be the detailed post mortem of Mandana’s kick to Kishwer. Calling both Mandana and Kishwer forward, Salman heard what the two had to say. While Kishwer maintained that Mandana kicked her deliberately, Mandana stated that it was her reaction to Kishwer and Prince’s unruly attack on her. Later, Salman even confronted Kishwer and told her that it was very wrong of her to have stormed out of  confession room, disrespecting Bigg Boss.

Salman grills Prince

The contestant who was grilled the most today has to be Prince.  During the Highway task Prince violated the task rules when he started helping Kishwer even after getting eliminated. The main problem here was that Prince brought out Mandana’s suitcase and took out her clothes which was not only unethical towards the task but also towards general human conduct. Salman thrashed Prince asking if he would have  behaved the same way with her sister. Salman stated that Prince was very wrong in throwing away Manadana’s clothes from her suitcase. While Rimi defended Prince saying that he gets aggressive during tasks, Aman Verma stated that he had warned Prince about his aggressive streak before.

Rochelle NOT Mandana is Salman’s favourite

At one point in the show, Salman got really agitated when he heard that Mandana is his favourite contestant. Reprimanding Kishwer’s thought process, Salman said that Mandana is not his favourite but it is Rochelle. He even saved Rochelle from elimination tonight.

Kishwer, Prince and Suyyash called bullies

After heated discussions, Salman called the trio of Kishwer, Prince and Suyyash as bullies. He challenged Prince and Suyyash to show their manly aggression to him instead of attacking a girl brutally. Salman also asked Kishwer to change her attitude as it would cause a lot of troubles for her in the show. Even, Mandana and Rochelle agreed with what Salman had to say.

After Mahira Khan, here is another Pakistani actress who dreams of working with King Khan. We are talking about Saba Qamar. In case her name does not ring a bell, she was the one who played Fawad Khan’s aunt Suraiya in the show, Waqt Ne Kiya Kya Haseen Sitam. She has also been seen on shows like Maat and Thakan. Currently, she is on the show Yaha Pyar Nahi Hai.

The actress now has her sights on Bollywood but is clear about the fact that she only wants to do A-grade projects. In fact, she will sign a film only if she gets to work opposite a Khan or a Kapoor. She was quoted as saying, “I love Bollywood films and I would love to do a film opposite Shah Rukh Khan or Ranbir Kapoor. It should be A grade work. I did love to do a film with Irrfan Khan too, he is a brilliant actor.” Are directors listening?

On the present show, Saba plays Haleema, the perfect wife and daughter-in-law who gets looked down upon for not being well-educated. Waqt Ne Kiya Kya Haseen Sitam is touted as her best work so far. As of now, she is seen on Hum TV’s Kaise Tumse Kahoon and Sangat. In the former, she is paired with Mikaal Zulfiqar who was seen in Neeraj Pandey’s Baby.

Saba has also seen her fair share of controversies. In April 2015, a newspaper wrote that she was under the scanner for money-laundering, which she denied vehemently.

Gauti is seen in a pair of denims and leather jacket. He will later get inside the house and grill the contestants on a variety of topics. There is more dance, masti and fun in store, as Salman shakes a leg with Zareen Khan and Daisy Shah. As fans would be aware, these two ladies have made their film debuts opposite him and share a special bond with the superstar. Aishwarya Sakhuja talks about her participation in Khatron Ke Khiladi 7

She’s best remembered as Toasty from Saas Bina Sasural, but Aishwarya Sakhuja feels that her participation in Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 will give the audience a new perspective about her. She is presently in Argentina preparing for the show. Aishwarya tells us, “There was no thought process. I wanted to do Khatron Ke Khiladi since past three years. This year had been very lucky for me because I got a chance to do Nach Baliye and now Khatron Ke Khiladi and now I want to win the title.” Talking about her preparation, she says, “I have not done any specific preparation. Of course, you need physical fitness and I do workout regularly. Mental preparation can only be done at the moment when you get a stunt to do. So at that time I should get the mental strength.”

As she is participating in Khatron Ke Khiladi, Aishwarya missed celebrating her first Diwali with her husband, Rohit Nag. In fact, she will also miss out on her first wedding anniversary that falls on December 5. “Rohit and my family have encouraged me to do the show,” she says.

Speaking about Arjun Kapoor as a host, she opines, “I don’t know Arjun personally but it is good to have someone who is young. He is a very chilled out person.” A practical traveller, Aishwarya is travelling well-equipped for the cold climate of Argentina. “I would be carrying jackets and winter clothes that I don’t get to wear in Mumbai. I am not carrying any lucky charm but the blessings of my loved ones,” she states.

The ex-model and actress is one of the taller girls in the industry. She is over 5.8 feet. Does she count height as an advantage? “I don’t know if that it is an advantage but it can be a disadvantage because in some stunts you need to crawl and height can be an issue then,” she says.
