Indian daily soaps are hugely popular across the globe. Indonesia is one of the countries where local love Indian dramas and soap stars. We know that actors like Shaheer Sheikh and Ravi Bhatia are no less than superstars in the island country. The latest Indian actors to visit the country are Shivin Narang and Digangana Suryavanshi. They went there to promote Veera, which is now going to be aired in the country.

Soaps like Mahabharat and Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev were huge hits in the country. As of now, shows like Maharana Pratap, Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi and Balika Vadhu are being shown in the country. They are lapped up by the locals as well as Indians living there.

Digangana went there to promote Veera and was thrilled by the warm reception. She also let her hair down in the country enjoying the tourist sites, shopping at malls and indulging in beach sports in Bali. The lady truly had the time of her life in the country. She was living in Jimbaran Beach in Bali.

The young lady looks great in her holiday pictures. In fact, she has also dressed like the local Indonesia Muslim women who wear the head covering garment termed as jiljab. It is not customary to wear it in Indonesia but she wore it during a press conference in Jakarta. Clarke also addressed rumours about her disapproval towards filming naked scenes

Actress Emilia Clarke, who essays Daenerys Targaryen on Game of Thrones, has quashed rumours that she refused to do nude scenes again on the show, saying that it’s “all me” in a nude scene in the latest episode of HBO’s hit fantasy drama TV series. ”I would like to remind people the last time I took my clothes off was season 3. That was a while ago. It’s now season 6. But this is all me, all proud, all strong. I’m just feeling genuinely happy. That ain’t no body double,” Clarke told ew.com.

Clarke also addressed rumours about her disapproval towards filming naked scenes for the show. ”It’s difficult to be misquoted and it’s nice to have something like Instagram to say the truth,” she said.

“How many times has Michiel Huisman (who plays Daario Naharis on the show) been asked about the fact he’s taken his clothes off a bunch? Is that even a discussion? No. So, I’m doing it this year and people can talk about it and I’m ready to answer any questions about it, basically,” Clarke added.

The current sixth season of the series is aired on Star World Premiere HD in India.

The dashing actor will replace Ahem’s character…

There is a lot of turmoil in Gopi’s (Devoleena Bhattacharjee) life. She will be trying her best to solve the marriage complications of her two daughters Meera (Tanya Sharma) and Vidya (Sonam Lamba). In the midst of all this, Ahem (Mohammad Nazim) will die in an accident, Gopi will be heart-broken.

However, Kokila (Rupal Patel) will plan to get Gopi remarried. The move will be supported by all except Jigar Modi (Vishal Singh).

The new actor who will enter the show is Khalid Siddiqui. He was last seen on Life Ok’s drama, Dream Girl. Khalid will be seen in the role of a doctor. He will be a positive character and will finally fall in love with Gopi. The actor told an entertainment site that he was happy to be part of a successful show and a top production house, Rashmi Sharma Telefilms.

There is a speculation that Ahem will undergo a plastic surgery and come back as Khalid’s character on the show. He will be playing the role of a divorcee.

All this will happen after a leap of three to four years. As of now, we are seeing Meera’s efforts to get back Dharam (Amar Upadhyay) in her life. She has reunited with her ex-flame Sanskar (Varun Khandelwal) to stage a fake marriage that will make him jealous. She will send him a card and say that she wants sangeet at his house.

The nurses have alleged that the show has depicted them in a vulgar manner…

We revealed to you yesterday how the nurses in Punjab are protesting against The Kapil Sharma Show for objectifying their profession. They have even filed a case against Kapil Sharma and have raised slogans against Navjot Singh Sidhu, however the makers haven’t said anything as of yet. Rochelle Maria Rao plays the sexy nurse, while Kiku Sharda plays the fat nurse on the show and their clumsy/dumb act has not gone down well with the nurses. They plan to file a defamation case against the show soon, but Kiku Sharda explains that they are not targeting any profession.

In an interview to Hindustan Times, Kiku Sharda mentioned that while he doesn’t have the exact details of any case filed, he has read about the protests but his team hasn’t told them anything. He even mentioned that they are continuing their shoot, however clarifying about the allegations made, he told HT, “It (the act) is all in good humour. I don’t think anyone should take this personally. We are not trying to make fun of any profession. Every character is part of some profession, and if people from every profession start objecting and protesting, then there will be no end.”

The makers had informed the viewers on the very first episode itself that all the characters in this show are purely fictional. A source close to the show also mentioned to the paper, “No one plays a real doctor or nurse. The characters on the show repeatedly talk about how they don’t know their jobs, and that’s where the comedy comes from. One nurse (Rochelle Maria Rao) says she used to work in a boutique, and the doctor (played by Sunil Grover) says, ‘I have a fake hospital. Come if you want.’ This is a comedy show, and it is not meant to be taken seriously.”

The Supreme Court will hear a plea seeking cancellation of anticipatory bail granted to deceased actress Pratyusha Banerjee’s boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh on May 30. Banerjee’s parents on May 14 approached the apex court against the granting of bail to Rahul. In their petition filed before the apex court, her parents alleged that the High Court had granted relief to Singh and that he can tamper with the evidence.

They sought custodial interrogation of Singh contending that there were several deep injury marks on her body.. The High Court had on April 25 granted anticipatory bail to Rahul who has denied the allegations leveled against him. The parents also approached Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in this regard and requested him to get the matter investigated by another agency. Reacting to this, Pratyusha Banerjee’s mother Soma Banerjee said that they were waiting for the response and hoped that the case was properly investigated by the agency.

Reportedly, the 24-year-old actress was in debt and used to often remain under the influence of alcohol. On April 1, Pratyusha, who shot to fame for her role as Anandi in ‘Balika Vadhu’, allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself inside her flat in suburban Goregaon. Two days later, a case under IPC Sections 306 (abetment of suicide), 504, 506 (criminal intimidation), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) of IPC was registered against Rahul following a complaint lodged by the actress’s parents.

A few days back, we heard from a source working on Comedy Nights Live that the show was shooting its finale. We assumed that the makers decided to end the series or give it a break. The so-called finale was a lively affair with hotties Sana Khan and Scarlet Wilson raising temperatures. We got curious on hearing this news and rang up Krushna Abhishek. The superstar comedian told us, “Hahahah…It is not a finale. It could be that the ‘other party’ is spreading rumours (laughs). Yes, we shot for an event. It is called the Nalla Awards. A number of celebrities have come for the event.”

The comedian told us that singer Shweta Pandit, Meet Brothers, Radhika Apte, Ram Gopal Verma and others are part of this occasion. “Comedy Nights Live is very much on. We are shooting for the series,” he clarified. The competition for the 9pm and 10pm slot on weekends is super stiff. We have talent based shows like India’s Got Talent, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, So You Think You Can Dance and comedy shows like The Kapil Sharma Show, Comedy Nights Live and Comedy Nights Bachao.

With mostly same celebrities coming on all the shows, makers and creatives have to keep the fun quotient high to capture viewers’ interest. We are in a situation where making people laugh is just not a funny business anymore. With one party blaming another, laughter battles are as intense as electoral wars.

If there’s anything that’s getting too hot to handle on the internet right now, it has to be these pictures of Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover. The monkey-mooners are beating the heat like no one else. I mean, you would be really blind if you don’t find them sexy. Just look at them. Everyone in Baadi will be overwhelmed to see her

Two parallel tracks will now run simultaneously in Swaragini. We will see Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) trying to figure out who is Rajat’s (Mohit Abrol) accomplice in Maheshwari household. She will discover a gun in the storeroom and panic. Thereafter, she will corner Parineeta and ask her about her involvement.

On the other hand, Swara will be discovered in Sahil’s (Anuj Sachdeva) house by his mother, Maya. She will think she is a fan and drive her out of the house. Then, she will enter Sahil’s music room and get enamoured by the works.

There, she will do a jugalbandi with him singing Hasi Ban Gaye Ho Tum and Sahil will be playing the guitar. They will become friends over their passion for music. He will be totally floored by her charm and fall in love.

Swara will remember her mother and go back to Baadi. Sharmishtha (Parineeta Borthakur) and others will be overwhelmed to see her. There will be happiness all around. But Swara won’t remember Sanskar or her married life. And when he will come close, she will accuse him of being her murderer. He will be heartbroken at this event.

Rano will be upset on seeing this, and try to break her son’s fast!

In the coming episodes, we will see Rishi (Ssharad Malhotra) keeping fast for Tanu (Kratika Sengar). She will be observing the Teej fast for Pavan (Malhar Pandya) as per his family tradition. Upset that Tanu will go hungry and knowing the significance of the fast, Rishi will also keep it for Tanu. He will convey his decision to Beeji too.

Tanu will be very emotional on seeing Rishi fasting for her. However, it will be Rano (Vibha Chibber) who will be upset seeing the bond between Rishi and Tanu. The couple will have another enemy after Bano (Roma Bali). Rano will think that Neha (Renee Dhyani) is better than Tanvi for her son. She will try to break Rishi’s fast in Kasam. 

In last night’s episode we saw how Rano conveyed her apprehension to Raaj about Tanvi. He called her backward. He also said that in today’s times a girl who keeps a family together is the best. Ahana, Tannu’s sister is also very moved by Rishi’s affections. She says he is a real Ranjha who is always behind his love.

In the coming episodes, Rano will corner Rishi about who is he fasting for. And he will blurt out Tanvi’s name. What will be Rano’s plan to separate Rishi and Tanu in the future? Kasam has been getting good TRPs since the start and the pair have been lovingly christened as TanShi.

The actor is reportedly unhappy about how his role is shaping up…

With his chocolate boy looks and easy charm, Siddhant Gupta has become a heartthrob of many girls in quick time. People loved his performance as the sincere and good-hearted Kunj on the show Tashan E Ishq.

The show is set to take a leap but it seems that there are some hidden issues. Siddhant Gupta is not too keen to continue with the show and has expressed the same to the makers. His contract is ending soon and he is not enthusiastic about renewing it. In the past few weeks, we have seen a lot of focus on Twinkle (Jasmine Bhasin) and Yuvi’s (Zain Imam) relationship and Kunj has been sidelined.

Tashan E Ishq is all set to take a leap and it seems like Kunj’s character will die on the show. The focus will be on Twinkle and Kunj only. The makers of the show are keen to have Siddhant on board as his pairing with Jasmine is a huge hit. They are called ‘SidMin’ or ‘Twinj’ by their loving fans.

In last night’s episode, we saw how Yuvi helped Leela, Twinkle’s mother win the award much to the anger of his own mom. Twinkle is thankful to Yuvi but Kunj does not like their friendship. The year 2016 has been one of break-ups as far as Bollywood is concerned. Here is a piece of news from the TV industry. Actress Sneha Wagh who is remembered for her role of Ratanjeet in Star Plus’ Veera is reportedly headed for a divorce.

As per a report in a leading daily, Sneha has been living separately from her second husband for three months now and sources close have confirmed that divorce is on the cards.

The actress’ first marriage had apparently ended because of domestic violence. Post that, she started working and got the title role of Jyoti on NDTV Imagine. Her second marriage to Anurag Solanki was fixed last year by her parents. He is an interior designer with his own business. It seems like irreconcilable differences have cropped up in between the couple and there is no chance of resolution. Problems cropped up just after eight months of the hush-hush wedding. The actress refused to comment on it saying that it was not the right time.

Sneha was also rumoured to be dating Aadesh Chaudhary for some time. They reportedly broke up in March 2014. She was also linked-up to her Jyoti co-star Sarwar Ahuja.

A few days back we heard of Manasi Salvi ending her marriage with director, Hemant Prabhu. They had a 12-year-long relationship and have a daughter, Omisha.

The ratings agency has released separate date for urban and rural areas in terms of top shows and GECs

This is the first time BARC has released separate data for urban and rural areas in terms of viewership for Hindi GECs. In the urban areas, Colors was the top GEC followed by Star Plus, Zee TV, Life OK and Sony SAB. In comparison, Zee Anmol, Sony PAL, Star Utsav, Zee TV and free channel Rishtey did well in rural areas. Here is a detailed lowdown…

 Comedy Nights Live always manages to come up with something new and funny!

After INvision Entertainment’s Ghanta Awards, we now have ‘Nalla Awards’ to mock films! The promo of tonight’s Comedy Night’s Live looks interesting as Krushna Abhishek along with Bharti Singh welcome Radhika Apte, Lisa Ray, Ram Gopal Varma and Meet Bros – Manmeet Singh & Harmeet Singh to Nalla Awards!

Ram Gopal Varma’s recent fascination for Radhika Apte is not hidden from anyone, thanks to his tweets and it will be interesting to see both of them together. Also, Ram Gopal Varma himself is going to be  awesome entertainment what with his care-free comments and opinions.The episode appears to be dedicated to upcoming films Veerappan and Phobia as Ram Gopal Varma, director and story writer of Veerappan; Lisa Ray, who is playing a spy in Veerappan, and Radhika Apte, lead actress of Phobia, are seen in the episode.

Krushna is seen persuading Ram Gopal Varma to accept the award to which Ramu says ‘Kabhi nahi!’ While it remains to be seen for which movie is he being awarded, it’s most likely to be for AAG, 2007’s super flop film.

For those who don’t know about Veerappan beyond Zarine Khan’s Khallas, Varma’s upcoming film is a biopic on the infamous Indian bandit Veerappan. Theatre actor Sandeep Bharadwaj plays the titular role and Lisa Ray will be seen playing a spy in the film. The film is slated to release on 27th May.

Radhika Apte’s Phobia, which shares its release date with Veerappan, is a psychological thriller. Radhika’s character in the film, Mehak suffers from severe agoraphobia (an anxiety disorder in which the sufferer thinks the environment to be unsafe).

This episode will be a fun-watch for all Ramu and Apte fans!

This is the first time she is doing a mythological show…

Juhi Parmar of Kumkum fame was last seen on Bigg Boss. The lady had a spectacular run on the show and finally won it. Since then, she has been missing from the arc-lights looking after her three-year-old daughter, Samaira Shroff. She is married to TV actor and entrepreneur Sachin Shroff.

Fans of Juhi don’t have to miss her anymore as she will be soon seen on Shani. This was reported by a leading national daily. The show will go on-air in Colors in the coming months. Cricketer turned actor Salil Ankola is also making a comeback to TV with this show. He will play the part of Surya Dev (Sun God). Juhi will play the role of Shani’s mother on the serial. As per mythology, the name of his mother was Chhaya.

The show is a large scale mythological venture and will be aired on weekends. It is produced by Siddharth Kumar Tewary of Swastik Productions.

This is the first mythological venture for Juhi and she is excited about it. The lady feels she will get a variety in terms of both acting and looks on the show. Playing a mother is immaterial because the role is a strong one.

Juhi took a break as she wanted to be a hands-on mother for her daughter. Now, that she is of school-going age, the feels she can resume her work with a freer mind. She has also lost weight, 17 kilos and is more confident about facing the camera.

Waaris, which premiered on television on 16th May 2016, had Iqbal Khan playing a pivotal role in the series.

It has barely been a week and Iqbal Khan is all set to quit the show. But, before you jump to conclusions about there being any fights or troubles, let us tell you that the exit was pre-planned and that the actor’s was just a cameo role.

In an interview with TOI, Iqbal clarified that it was  not to shock the audience. He said “It’s not to shock the audience. The real story wouldn’t begin unless my character dies in the show.The decision to take up this show despite the fact that my track would last only for a week is more personal than career-driven. It’s a beautiful and organic concept as opposed to watching a sanctuary of humans transforming into all kinds of animals on TV. I have a four-year-old daughter and I want her to grow up and be on par with men. I have a renewed approach towards women because of my daughter. I expect her to be treated the way I treat another woman.”

Ashwini Yardi’s, Waaris is set in the rural hinterland of Punjab and is based on the practice of Bacha Posh. It talks about two warring clans, the Pawanias and Bajwas. The first episode of the TV series introduced us to a stressed Amba Pawania (Aarti Singh), who is pregnant for the third time. She already has two daughters and is dreading the thought of having a third daughter. Iqbal Khan played her husband, Charan Pawania in the series. The first episode ended with Charan getting attacked while driving through fields belonging to the Bajwa clan.

Popular ZEE Tv series Meri Saasu Maa co-actors have landed into an ugly fight – find out why!

Telly Chakkar’s recent report on Meri Saasu Maa actors will leave you amused.The allegedly in love Pearl V Puri and Hiba Nawab’s closeness is becoming a problem for other co-actors. The report has it that the duo call each other by names like babu and shonu, communicate in sign language and exchange flying-kisses with each other on sets. Despite of having been given two separate rooms the two are always seen indulging in excessive PDA together. This combined with Pearl’s starry attitude has been reportedly annoying everyone else on the sets.

When asked about the thing Aanchal Khurana told Telly Chakkar, “Pearl and Hiba are too immature and unprofessional. They don’t know how to balance their personal and professional life. An actor has to be serious about his or her work. Thankfully I am soon leaving the show, and wouldn’t face these problems anymore.”

Khurrana’s this statement  didn’t go down very well with Hiba who barged into the actress’ room soon after the news appeared on TellyChakkar and started yelling at her. An eye witness from the incident told the portal that “An unexpected scenario broke out when Hiba reacted wildly to the news that broke out. She got into Aanchal’s room and took the latter by shock when she started hurling abuses at her, using words beyond explanation. Aanchal asked Hiba to control her tongue for quite a long time during the argument. However, at the end she just could not take more, and gave it back to Hiba.” The insider further added that the situation became worse “When Hiba got into a verbal clash with Aanchal, the dutiful lover of hers, Pearl followed suit and supported his lady by mincing no words to abuse Aanchal.”

The portal further reported that the scene went out of hand and that the producers (Rahul Tewary and Saba Mumtaz), who had assembled to celebrate the show’s 100 episodes, had to intervene to stop the fiery fight. The much-in-love couple was asked to behave professionally on the sets.

Balika Vadhu fame actress Avika Gor’s floor length one sided ball gown with minimal jewellery turned many heads at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival.

Accompanied by TV star Manish Raisinghani, they walked the red carpet on Friday to watch the trailer of a French film named “Juste La Fin Du Monde” (“It’s only the end of the world), directed by Xavier Dolan, read a statement. Avika’s eyes lit up with sparkling make-up while her short hair was curled to perfection. Manish looked dapper in a black tuxedo with red bow tie.

On Tuesday, the trailer and poster of the two actors’ short film “Ankahee Baatein” was unveiled at the gala. The short film, selected for the Short Film Corner, stars Manish and TV actress Barkha Bisht. Avika is the creative director of the movie, helmed by Manav Bhinder.

Avika Gor had made a debut in television with the show Balika Vadhu as young Anandi. She was later seen in Sasural Simar Ka as Roli. Gor made her debut in Tollywood  in 2013 with Uyyala Jampala. She is soon going to debut in Kannada cinema with Care of Foothpath 2. The talented girl has garnered several TV awards and has also modeled for the kids fashion brand Gini&Jony. She added a feather to her cap by making a debut in direction with Ankahee Baatein.

Here’s what happened tonight in the supernatural show

Tonight’s episode of Naagin was really exciting as it had a lot of twists and turns. This was by far, the most filmy episode on the show with lots of filmy dialogues.The episode begins with Shivanya finding herself at the temple. She is horrified to find that Ritik is alone and so vulnerable to her enemies.  Meanwhile, making use of Shivanya’s absence, Sesha attempts to get closer to Ritik, but Shivanya calls Ritik in advance and warns him of Sesha’s plans. Ritik smartly captures Sesha and locks her in the room with Bel patta.

Yamini, who is in league with Sesha, finds out that she is captured and frees her. Meanwhile, the engagement preparations of Yamini’s daughter and Kabir is going on in full swing. In order to avoid detection by Ritik, Sesha turns into Ramya and heads to the function. Here she runs into Kabir, who is the icchadari nevla and the two plot to take down Shivanya.

As the troubles for Shivanya increase, she now has to deal with a new enemy, as Vivek is finally out of coma and is out for her blood. Meanwhile, Shivanya comes into the house and Kabir finds the perfect opportunity to ambush and kill her. But just in time, Ritik comes in and Kabir is forced to escape. Sesha who can take forms, is meanwhile guised as Kabir and attending the engagement ceremony to provide the perfect cover for the nevla.

But unfortunately, their plan foils and Sesha instead discovers that Kabir is at the party. On her way to disclose to everyone that he is a nevla, she is stopped by Ritik. But in a shocking twist, it turns out that it was Sesha who was pretending to be Ritik and that she has kidnapped him. Sesha threatens to kill Ritik if Shivanya discloses Kabir’s identity. And so the episode ends in a stalemate.

Other than the engaging plot, the episode had a lot of puns, the most memorable being one which involved Hrithik Roshan’s name. Overall, it was a thoroughly gripping episode, but looks like it is going to get even better in next episode, where Vivek catches up to Shivanya and is on the verge of killing her! India’s Got Talent 7, which premiered on April 30, goes strong in its third week.

India’s Got Talent 7, like all its previous seasons, is rocking the television with its supreme demonstration of talent from every street of India.This show not only celebrates the ‘hunhar‘ that India possesses but it also gives a platform to people from all socio-economic backgrounds to showcase their talent in front of the entire country.

Saturday’s episode is an absolute amalgamation of all forms of talent – singing, dancing,shadow act, magic show,etc. The episode began with two-three dance performances which failed to impress the judges. Next was a group that presented a jazzy version of Swadesh’s Yun Hi Chala Chal which too failed to win judges’s hearts. After Mohan Dubey’s not-so-impressive poem on IGT, we got our performance of the day – which was a remix of classical Indian dance and aerial act by Gautam Marathe. Saurabh and Nainika’s flawless dance added a wow-factor to the episode. Vishal & Group’s shadow act and Shravan’s magic tricks won over the judges’ hearts. Preeti Ke Parindey totally stole the show with their spell-binding performance. Mother-Daughter dancing duo was fun watching.Aishhwarya’s melodious voice left the judges astonished.

All in all tonight’s episode was a roller coaster ride of some great and some okay performances. Barring a few performances which failed to impress, the episode was a great entertainer. Bharti’s maskari combined with wonderful performances made for a total paisa vasool show.

Okay, now we really think the combination of Kapil Sharma and the insane trio of– Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Abhishek Bachchan is entertainment guaranteed. I mean, while the last week we got to see all 3 boys creating a laughter riot where Jr Bachchan even went on to take the funniest revenge from Sunil Grover for flirting with his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Tonight’s episode had an added dose of entertainment, with Jackie Shroff and Chunky Pandey joining the cast. Oh! It was crazy. Especially the segments where Grover took the center stage. Sorry Kapil, but this man is literally stealing your thunder. No seriously!

Right from the time when he arrived as the doctor, to dressing up as the lady with his partner in crime played by Kiku Sharda, he was single-handedly making everyone laugh to his ridiculously awesome sense of humour. After one point, everyone present couldn’t control their laughter and had themselves ROFL. Some of the gems from tonight’s episode was when Sunil Grover dressed as the doctor did CT scan on Abhishek, quite literally. In the sense, he took the Hindi translation of CT and checked Abhi from top to toe. Haha! That scene literally had me laughing my lungs out.

The next was when he did the Naagin dance with Jackie and tried flirting with Akki as he played a musical instrument. The one liners were as epic as this whole hilarious episode. Well, I thoroughly enjoyed tonight’s episode despite having Abhi-Riteish-Akshay for the second time on the show. Entertainment, entertainment aur sirf entertainement…
