Viewers of the show who want Dev and Sonakshi aka DevAkshi to come together are in for great news. Tonight, we will see Dev (Shaheer Sheikh) proposing to Sonakshi (Erica Fernandes). She will be very happy about it. They will be seen spending some romantic moments together. Dev will slowly start changing himself as per Sona’s tastes. His wardrobe, mannerisms and outlook will start changing.

However, they will hide their relationship from Ishwari (Supriya Pilgaonkar). Dev will tell Sona that his mother would take time to be convinced about their love story. But he will try to spend maximum time with her.

We will see Dev making excuses to stay close to Sona. He will start arguing with her over silly things and enter the kitchen. That will just be a pretext to be close to her. She will realise that and enjoy the moment.

It remains to be seen how long do DevAkshi manage to hide their relationship from Ishwari and everyone around them. She is a possessive mom and won’t like the idea of her son’s attention and affection getting shared.

The ex Bigg Boss contestant flared up on this letter accusing her of being publicity hungry

Sofia Hayat shocked everyone a few days back when she transformed into Mother Gaia Sofia. She became a self proclaimed nun. Many scoffed at her while others called it a publicity stunt. One of the persons who has expressed his ire is Vivek Mishra, also known as naked yoga guru. Like her, he is also a Ex-Bigg Boss contestant. Here is what he wrote

Your antics on reality shows were not enough scandalous, your modelling career was dismal, your acting stint crashed even before take-off – I would rather say your struggle to stay in the limelight has now reached the ultimate desperation that you are calling your publicity stunt a “sacred reason”. I mean, how low can you get!

Your short-lived stardom soon fizzled into oblivion that now you have taken the religious route to attract attention. Who has seen a nun use social media, make public appearances, go to reality shows and laugh her way out and conduct Press Conferences?

Now that your sexuality, your outrageous sense of dressing, your pathetic attempts to present yourself as a social activist by posting nude pictures on social media, your affairs with celebrities, isn’t working, our so-called Gaia Sofia Mother’, has decided to quit the glamorous world and downcast herself even more.

Like you proclaimed, “I had an active sex life. I had boyfriends. The change happened in July 2015. I asked myself, Why am I not feeling any more desires? Let me tell you why! People have had enough of your boobs show, your silicone implants that don’t justify your sacred gyan, and basically your erotic self that now those same people perceive you as a big bin of thrash.

So Ms. Sofia Hayat, if you really want to do something good of your life, I would suggest you to meditate and do some charity. But first, do some charity for you because charity begins at home!

Say hi to the new Mohabbat Ke Dushman?

If we someone told us to count the number of TV couples who met on the sets and fell in love, we would request for some time. Well, they are more than what we can count on our finger tips. In a recent move that has surprised many, producer Gurudev Bhalla of Rishton Ka Saudagar – Baazigar has put down a clause that the lead pair of his upcoming show, Rishton Ka Saudagar – Baazigar can’t date during the tenure of the show. It sounds pretty Draconian but what could have promoted such a step.

A few days back, we were shocked to read about the spat between Hiba Nawab and Aanchal Khurrana. The latter had given a quote to an entertainment portal that the relationship between the lead pair wasn’t exactly ”professional. Well, even before her statement, grapevine was abuzz about Hiba indulging in PDA with her co-star Pearl V Puri. Their reported show of affection was a source of embarrassment for the unit and apparently time was wasted on the sets. After Aanchal’s statement, Hiba reportedly fought with her and her rumoured beau, Pearl also joined in the tirade. The producer had to intervene and issue a strict warning to the concerned party. If we consider Bhalla’s move in the wake of the above reported controversy, we can say that it’s somewhat justified. It should be noted that the above incident was a talked-about one. There is another notable case where actress Monica Singh quit Pratigya after her break-up with her onscreen son, Ankit Gera. Makers have spoken in whispers about the hardships faced by them after the lead pair has fallen in love and broken up in the tenure of the show.

In the past couple of years, we haven’t read of many affairs between lead actors of shows. Of course, a lot of romances have happened in the supporting cast. The younger generation is professional enough to draw the distance between their professional and personal lives. They realise their actions affect an unit of 100 or more people and budgets of lakhs. Honestly, not many foresee other producers introducing such clauses, mainly because they work with a set of artistes whose professionalism can be vouched for. Also, TV actors who are not even in love, seem to build a camaraderie that sets tongues wagging. Is it a clause that will make actors think twice before bonding big time on sets. We guess we have to see Vatsal and Ishita’s onscreen chemistry to really understand how the clause has affected them.

Is this a quitting season?

This year saw many actors quitting popular shows. First Shilpa Shinde left popular comedy show Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain igniting a fiery controversy, then Karan Mehra left Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Upasana Singh followed the suit and went on to quit Comedy Nights Live and now we have the news that Shikha Singh is all set to quit popular show Kumkum Bhagya.

Alia Mehra aka Shikha Singh played Abhi’s sister in the show. Rumours of her leaving the show were doing the rounds since quite some time now. However the actress and the producers kept denying it. According to a recent report in a leading daily, Shikha has finally decided to quit the show. A source close to the actress told a leading daily, “Shikha has been unhappy about her role for a while now and has had discussions with the production house. She is currently not seen in the show and has been on a break since her marriage last month. But now she doesn’t want to continue with the show and has conveyed her decision to the makers.”

The actress had been entertaining us since quite some time as an antagonist. A few months ago, the actress had got injured on the sets of Box Cricket League. She had sprained her neck muscle while trying to hit a six in the match.She was hospitalised for a few days and had to take a break from all her shootings as she was advised to wear a band around her neck. Rumours of her quitting the show had sprung up then too. But, the rumours got settled as soon as she joined the show after her injury.

While the actress has not been available to give bytes, it’s being said that she has conveyed it to the makers that she is not interested in continuing the show.

So will Gujral forgive Dev for breaking his daughter, Natasha’s heart ?

Dev refused to get engaged with Natasha (his business partner ,Gujral’s daughter) which left everyone shocked. While his sisters and aunt found his decision of not marrying a business partner’s daughter irrational and stupid, Ishwari supported Dev’s decision. Like his aunt, Iswari was apprehensive about the decision initially, thinking that his refusal to Natasha might affect his business but later she got convinced that getting into a false relationship with Natasha just to secure business interests is not the right thing to do.

While Dev and Ishwari tried their best to convince Mr. Gujral that the decision was in best interest of his daughter, he didn’t seem to be very pleased with the arguments. The last thing that he said before leaving Dixits’ house was that “remember you made my daughter cry.” While it still remains to be seen whether Gujral will seek revenge from Dev or not, this is for sure that Natasha will cause a twist in the serial later if not now.

Dev’s decision might have brought an upheaval in many lives, but all he was thinking about was Sonakshi. Love was in the air in yesterday’s episode as Mr Abhodro proposed to Dr Bose in the cutest way possible. The high point of the episode was when Dev finally gathered all his strength and uttered the three magical words – I love you, to which Sona said “You love me like a friend, right?” It was very cute and realistic both at the same time. He then said “No, I love you like a man loves a woman” which brought tears to Sona’s eyes. She had been upset all day thinking that she lost her first love and when he proposed her, she couldn’t stop herself from crying. This was the most cutest and unconventional proposal scenes that we have seen where the lady asked the man to hug her. Aww..!

While we hope Dev and Sonakshi’s love grows leaps and bounds, we’re sure that the producers have some other plans. It will be interesting to see what will be Ishwari’s reaction to Dev’s new found love. We had predicted that he will hide his love from his family but considering yesterday’s show in which he declared his decision so assertively, it will be exciting to see what new turn will the serial take. The precap of today’s show had the couple standing outside Dev’s house, waiting for Ishwari to open the door. Iswari has been very supportive of Dev up till now but will she accept Sona as her daughter-in-law ?

Today’s episode of Kumkum Bhagya would be nothing short of tamasha!

We had told you how Pragya (Sriti Jha) was dressed in a western outfit on her birthday to win back Abhi’s (Shabbir Ahluwalia) heart. The episode will take a turn today as Pragya’s closeness with Champak will make Abhi feel that Pragya has moved on in life. Abhi will be seen feeling jealous and sad as Champak will try and come really close to Pragya.

Pragya, unaware of the things happening around her, continues thinking about Abhi. She thinks he will propose her soon after cake-cutting but things go totally haywire as Tanu asks Abhi to ask Pragya if she is betraying him with Champak. While Abhi stands surprised, Tanu starts showering Pragya with allegations. She accuses her of calling her boyfriend Champak to the party and romancing with him in front of the entire family. She reads out Champak’s love letters aloud in front of the entire family and continues saying that she is characterless and that she is pregnant with Champak’s child. Pragya finally loses her cool and slaps Tanu. In reaction, Abhi too raises his hand on Pragya.

Pragya denies all the allegations and pleads Abhi to not believe all this. She tells them that all the pictures are morphed. Champak too supports Tanu and goes on to say that Pragya had accepted his love.

The new love-birds are totally lost in each other

It is time for budding romance on Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi. And it is us viewers who will rejoice. Dev (Shaheer Sheikh) and Sona (Erica Fernandes) have confessed their feelings for each other. However, people in the family don’t know the real reason why he called off his engagement.

In tonight’s episode we will see Ishwari (Supriya Pilgaonkar) getting surprised on seeing Sonakshi staying up late in the Dikshit household. She will question why she is there so late at his place. Sona says Elena will pick her up. When Nikki asks her who she is waiting for, she says Dev and then says, Elena. After a while, Ishwari will come back and see Sona there and ask if Elena has not come so far.

Will Ishwari grow suspicious about the growing friendship between Sonakshi and Dev? We have to wait and watch for that. In the meantime, the newly in love couple will look for opportunities to spend maximum time together. Dev has told Sona that they won’t talk to his mom about their relationship right away as she needs to be convinced.

Kavita Kaushik’s beau, Nawab Shah opens up about the actress…

Stories of an affair between Kavita Kaushik and Nawab Shah started doing the rounds early this year after their pictures surfaced on Instagram. Yesterday, at a press conference of Zee TV’s new show, Amma the actor clarified that they are indeed dating. In fact, they have been in a relationship for almost five years now. So, how did they manage to keep it hidden? “We are both very private as people. We met five years ago, became friends and started dating. Now, when people asked us we have not denied being in a relationship, ” said Nawab.

The actor who is part of films like Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and more recently Dilwale has words of praise for his girlfriend, Kavita’s new show, Dr Bhanumathi on Duty. Ï feel she is a fabulous actress. I thoroughly enjoyed the new show. Sadly, she got a little stereotyped after Chandramukhi Chautala’s role in FIR. I feel Kavita made that show her brand. But I would like to see her in varied genres. In my play, Kavita does something totally different. I feel she can make a return anytime as Chandramukhi as her performance was that good,” he said.

While the two are very much in love, Kavita has reportedly said earlier that she does not believe in the institution of marriage. When we asked that to Nawab, he stated, “I do believe in marriage as an institution. However, with relationships breaking all around us, we have to be very sure before tying the knot. She feels it is better to have a fulfilling relationship without marriage than spoil its beauty post it. We don’t know…we might just get hitched in the future.”

When we asked him about stories that her parents are against the relationship, he said, “Yes, it is true because they believe marriage is a union of two families. Nowadays, if two people only manage to stick it out, then only it’s enough. I feel our parents are being sweet. They wish the best for us. Yes, they belong to a different generation and we respect that. There is no fight or opposition as such. After all, we are mature adults,” said the actor.

He also said that Kavita and he are quite hot-headed. “We are lucky to have found each other to vent out our frustrations. I am wild and she is dominating. We are quite made for each other,” said the handsome man.

Yes, it will be part of Sahil’s game plan

A lot of drama is in store for viewers of Swaragini. We will see a relationship blossoming between Swara (Helly Shah) and Varun Kapoor (Sanskar/Kissan). They will do a funny dance together. Sahil (Anuj Sachdeva) will see this and get extremely jealous. He will plot a way to expose Sanskar’s Kissan get-up.

We will see police going to the Maheshwari mansion and accusing Swara of killing Sanskar. She will be shell-shocked. In the mean time, we will see Sujata (Sonica Handa) blaming Swara terming her responsible for all the grief in her son’s life. She will think he is dead and start howling loudly.

Laksh (Namish Taneja) will convince the police that his brother is alive. So, finally he will bring Sanskar before the police. Later, it will be known that it was his idea to expose Sanskar before Swara.

Fans of Varun who were dying to see him as Kissan for few more days might be obliged by the makers. It looks to continue for two to three weeks at least. They will be seen auditioning for an episode of India’s Got Talent. However, that part will only be executed in Swaragini.

Meanwhile, Parineeta is hell-bent on taking revenge from Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) for slapping her. She will orchestrate a hit and run for them to get killed. Ragini will be trying her best to fake the pregnancy. Stay tuned for more updates….

The love-hate drama is not going to end soon…

In the coming episodes we will see the parents joining hands to win Ruhi’s heart. But the process won’t be an easy one. It will be Ruhi’s (Aditi Bhatia) birthday but Raman (Karan Patel) and Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) will forget it due to their constant fighting. Ruhi will be disheartened and tell them she does not want to be part of a family that is full of constant bickering. In the mean time, Raman would have made a complete collage of Ruhi’s childhood pictures, which will floor her. Adi (Abhishek Verma) will step in to save the situation.

We will also have a sequence where Raman will be changing his clothes inside the room without locking it. Ishita will barge in and shout at him for not locking room. He will say it is his room. A bit of fight will follow. In the mean time, Ishita will plan to take Ruhi to the counselor. They hope that will help her come back to her normal state. Ishita feels she is doubly traumatized as she had to live the life of a boy.

Ruhi, will also want her parents to unite after knowing that they separated. There is buzz that Shagun (Anita Hassanandani) and Ashok will join hands to spoil their happiness.

Here is a bit into his past and present

As Prerna’s lover in Kasauti Zindagi Ki, Anurag, actor Cezanne Khan made his way into the hearts of every Indian girl. He was also one of the first actors to get married multiple times on a show. The actor has had a long career in daily soaps in India, Pakistan and the Middle East. Hugely popular amongst women, Cezanne was one of the dashing men of Indian TV.

Well, the actor is all set to make a comeback on Indian TV with &TV’s Gangaa. The soap has Aditi Sharma as Gangaa. He will be seen as the third man in Gangaa’s life. Vishal Vashishtha and Sarwar Ahuja were paired with the actress initially. Cezanne will be playing the role of Rudra, an influential businessman who comes into her life. The actor was supposed to make a comeback with Ekta Kapoor’s Yeh Hai Mohabbatein in 2013. He had reportedly shot for a few episodes with Divyanka Tripathi but could not continue due to date issues. Actor Karan Patel, who is another favourite of Ekta took his place.

The actor made a lot of news during his early days due to his link-ups with co-actresses. Shweta Tiwari and he had a cold war for the longest time. Her ex-husband also blamed him for the dent in their marriage. He was also in a relationship with Shubha Verma, who played Tanisha on Kasauti Zindagi Ki.

It will be a weekend programme starting from June 25

On Wednesday, we were taken to the launch of Amma, which was held in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. The show marks the TV debut of actress Urvashi Sharma whom we have seen in Naqaab. It is period drama set from the 1950s to 80s. The makers have created a huge set of a Dongri chawl and Mohammad Ali Road out there with old Mumbai homes. Present at the launch was Urvashi Sharma, Shahwar Ali, Aman Verma, Nawab Shah, Deepraj Rana, Sonali Singh and Neha Chandra. The show is produced by Farhan Zamma and Asif Shaikh.

As per reports, it is based on the life of Jenabai Daruwali, who was a famous female godmother of those times. A migrant from Pakistan post Partition, she was abandoned by her husband. The woman fought for her rights single-handedly and became a cult figure in her area. Slowly, she got close to the underworld and emerged as a matriarch. She will be romanced by Shawar Ali on the show.

It is a finite show that airs from June 25 at 10.30pm on ZEE TV. It is a part of the new weekend programming concept introduced by the channel. Urvashi spoke about how she took on the role at her husband, Sachiin Joshi’s insistence. Aman Verma plays a South Indian don on the show while Nawab’s character is inspired by Haji Mastan. The multi-layered sets have been designed by art director Tariq Khan noted for his work in ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’. The costumes, jewelry and other accessories have been designed and created in-house by stylist Ajay Kumar who has worked across opulent dramas like ‘Ram Leela’, ‘Bajirao Mastaani’ and ‘Phantom’. The dialogue for the show is penned by Aloke Upadhya who has assisted the direction of Salman Khan films like Dabangg 2, Partner and Jai Ho. The talented Kingshuk Chakravrthi is credited with the show’s impactful music and background score.

The gorgeous ladies will turn the heat up

The popular dating reality show Splitsvilla has returned with its latest season. Sunny Leone has returned as the host of the show. What has not returned is the regular theme of the show of kings and queens. The new theme of the show only has queens ruling the kingdom. And boy…are they ruling. Not only the kingdom the six princesses of this season is all set rule your hearts. The next episode might be steamiest of all as we will see the lovely ladies sporting bikinis and looking all hot.

During the next patate raho session, boys will be appearing in their pool shorts and girls in their bikinis. The girls will pick the boy with the worst body. And Karan Chabbra will be the one. He will end up becoming the butt of all jokes.

The entertainment quotient will go a few notches higher when hosts Sunny Leone and Rannvijay will reveal a few dirty secrets of the women in the house. Where is Animal Welfare Board when you need them?

King Kong would be so proud! At least the Indian Television is ready to follow its legacy and make a primate fall in love with a beautiful girl!

Some in the creative team on Colors looks to have a thing for bestiality. Other wise what would explain three of their shows to have animals doing all kinds of weird stuff! At least, Naagin, their best rated show, had a proper plot that revolved around shapeshifting snakes, mongooses and peacocks (or was it peahens?). But Sasural Simar Ka, a social drama show that begin with a middle class girl marrying into a rich household, had no excuse of turning its protagonist into a fly!

Just when we though we had seen the worst, Colors reminds us that they are not done with the animals yet…

In another show, a gorilla, or rather a man in a cheap gorilla suit, is all set to break the cage and enter Thapki Pyar Ki! So how long will Dr.Bose and Mr. Dikshit’s  love story go hush-hush

In the last episode we saw how Dev (Shaheer Sheikh) and Sonakshi (Erica Fernandes) were trying to spend more and more time with each other. Their romance is nurturing in the Dikshits’ house and nobody is aware of it. Although Dev and Sona are trying hard to hide their love from the family, the change in his behavior has not gone unnoticed form Ishwari(Supriya Pilgaonkar)and Nikki. While Ishwari is pleased to see this shine and happiness on Dev’s face, we’re sure with her ‘motherly-6th-sense’ she would soon figure out the reason behind it.

It will be interesting to see how long will Dev-akshi be able to hide their love from Dev’s family. In today’s episode we might get to see some fun scenes as Dev will have to pay the expenses for not being able to spend enough time with Sonakshi. In punishment, she will ask him to eat green chillies. But, will Dev eat them? And even if he eats, how will he hide his reactions from the family. Especially his sharp sister Nikki. In yesterday’s episode too she sensed that something is wrong while Sona stayed till late night at Dev’s place. She said “It seems you’re waiting for your boyfriend.”
