The ex Bigg Boss winner will soon host a talent show, Honey Singh will judge the show

Gauahar Khan is gradually becoming a favourite of many singers. After being a part of Rahet Fateh Ali Khan’s music video with boyfriend Kushal Tandon the model turned actor will soon sizzle as a host on Honey Singh’s talent reality show India’s Raw Star.

Reports suggested that firang star Claudia Ciesla was earlier supposed to host the show; however, Honey Singh wasn’t very convinced with the creative team’s choice. Sources confirm that the rapper wanted someone who is popular on the social networking websites and who better than the controversy’s child Gauahar Khan. So after much discussion the makers along with judge Honey Singh’s consent finalised Ms Khan as the host of the show. Kushal’s lady love has also given her nod to this reality show.

We have already seen Singh groove on Chaar Bottle Vodka with sexy babe Sunny Leone, however we wonder if the audiences will get to see this handsome singer shake a leg with the sultry Gauahar Khan on the show. Well for that we’ll have to wait until the show is on air!

Fans make their displeasure evident on Twitter over this new couple of telly land

Yes, you read that right. Television’s most loved actor Harshad Arora aka Zain from Beintehaa is dating his co-star Gunjan Vijaya who plays his sister in law on the show. While many had expected Hashad and his onscreen lover Preetika Rao (Aaliya) to be romantically involved, this latest development seems to have miffed the fans.

While Harshad has refuted the rumours saying that he and Gunjan are just good friends, insiders reveal an entirely different story. If sources are to be believed, Harshad and Gunjan’s romance has been brewing from a while now, however the couple has chosen to not be vocal about their relationship.

Fans also began to ask questions to Harshad’s co star’s on Twitter. An annoyed Namrata Pathak who plays Shazia on the show tweeted, “I am not going to entertain any questions on whether Harshad and Gunjan are dating, so please do not ask me. Sincere apologies.”

After catching Raman (Karan Patel) in a projected compromising position with ex-wife Shagun (Anita Hassanandani), Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) is shattered. Worse she has seen her husband lie to her on Shagun’s insistence. But, worse is yet to come. Shagun and Raman are in a hotel room for a meeting with the lawyer, however Romi who has bunked work to spend some fun time with his friends catches his brother with ex-wife sipping coffee. Not the one to intrude Romi walks away, however he is stunned to see his brother there. We read stories about Four Lions Films being unable to pay their dues to the cast and crew of Qubool Hai for months; the producer confirms our doubts

Qubool Hai has been one of the top running shows in the TRP race. However, when Karan Singh Grover pulled out of the daily soap and the makers brought in Raqesh Vashisth, numbers dropped drastically. No amount of twists and turns worked in its favour.

A few months back, the producers –  Four Lions Films took a 22-year leap and roped in Karanvir Bohra to play the new lead opposite Surbhi Jyoti. Numbers started going up again and fans are happy to see the chemistry between the two actors.

Recently, we heard rumours about the production house not being able to pay the cast and crew of the Zee show.  Karanvir Bohra in an interview said that these were baseless rumours. So we got in touch with Gul Khan to confirm the story. She said, “Yes it’s true that we have been going through a financial crunch. However, Four Lions Films has now tied up with a funding partner, who will take care of all the finances.”

So does that mean everyone will get their due payments from now on? “Yes, all the monetary crisis will be solved. Let’s hope everything gets back on track soon. We have already launched a new show on Channel V – O Gujaria. We are also in talks with Sony TV for another show, which will go on air soon.”

So will Harshad Chopra be playing the lead in the show? “Well we are in talks with the actor for a show. Nothing has been confirmed as yet,” added Gul. Looks like Four Lions Films are extremely busy with their current and upcoming shows. Let’s hope they continue to keep entertaining us.

In the last episode, we saw Durga (Sanjeeda Sheikh) returning home and being pleased upon knowing that her plan to create a rift between Goenka brothers Dev (Bhuvnesh Mann) and Shaurya (Vatsal Seth) was working well. Sakshi (Simone Singh) in the meantime promised to fund Shekhar’s business project in return planning to ask him further details about Durga and her past. Durga was seen making her next move to make Shaurya jealous where she landed up at the Goenka residence and was seen getting close to Dev in front of Shaurya on purpose.

In the upcoming episode, we will see Shekhar getting in touch with his friend abroad where he will be informed that Durga had undergone a tiff with her father before disappearing from the US. Raima (Kishwer Merchantt) and Sakshi meanwhile will be confused when they will come to know about the same from Shekhar as the Durga they know appears to share a close bond with her father.

An infuriated Shaurya on the other hand will decide to teach Dev a lesson. Sakshi will be certain that Durga is cautiously planning her every move to drive a wedge between Dev and Shaurya and will ask Shekhar to dig out more information regarding Durga’s past in the US.

A new antagonist is all set to enter the Colors’ show

Vishal Karwal of Bigg Boss fame, who was last seen doing a negative character in Encounter, has been roped in to play the negative lead in Rangrasiya.

The story will go something like this; Vishal will play an army officer who is smitten by Paro (Sanaya Irani). To the world he will appear as a friendly, sweet and helpful person, but in reality he will be compulsive obsessive individual.

He will try to create differences between Paro and Rudra (Ashish Sharma), who have finally fallen in love. He will even try to get rid of Rudra, but it remains to be seen if he manages to do so.

Vishal has been building his physique to look fit and sport six pack abs in the daily soap. Rumours suggest that the actor will show off his chiseled body in Rangrasiya. Looks like Vishal’s fans are in for sexy treat.

The Bobby Jasoos actor will promote her upcoming film on a TV show

Vidya Balan found it exciting to return to her roots – the small screen, to promote her forthcoming entertainer Bobby Jasoos.

She made an appearance on BIG MAGIC’s comedy show Ajab Gajab Ghar Jamai to spread buzz about her movie, in which she plays a detective.

For Vidya, who started her career by playing a part in TV show Hum Paanch, shooting a cameo for Ajab Gajab turned out to be a fun experience.

“It was exciting to act on the small screen once again after a very long time. It brought back many memories for me and now has made this show special. It was like coming back home since this is where I started my acting career,” Vidya said in a statement.

Ever since the National Award winning actor made it big on the silver screen, she has made various appearances on the television to promote her films. Her latest appearance can be seen in a special episode of Ajab Gajab Friday.

Veteran actor Himani Shivpuri, who features in the show, appreciated Vidya’s sense of comedy.

“The episode is a fun one and Vidya was extremely sporting through it,” she added.

Shiv’s bua is at Dadi sa’s home for her skin treatment

Subhadra bua (Sushmita Mukherjee) has gone to Dadi Sa aka Kalyani Devi’s (Surekha Sikri) village for her skin treatment. While Dadi Sa was preparing to welcome Shiv’s bua, in a moment of gist she threw a bucket full of water on Subhadra. The annoyed Bua lashed out at Dadi in anger, Kalyani Devi was embarrassed and apologised for Dadi’s mistake.

Later Dadi sa takes Subhadra to a doctor. The medical expert suggests that Subhadra should not eat oily food, which Subhadra refused to follow. Bua said that she cannot eat food without oil. Dadi Sa looks at Subhadra in astonishment and later begins to argue with her on importance of eating healthy food. Subhadra was visibly annoyed with Dadi’s interference.

Meanwhile, romance is again brewing between Shiv (Siddharth Shukla) and Anandi (Toral Rasputra). After relief from the courts, Shiv wanted to thank his wife for all the support. He decorated his entire room with ‘Thank You’ cards for his loving wife. Anandi was pleasantly surprised with Shiv’s gesture and kissed him on his hand.

The Khatron Ke Khiladi 5 contestant will be a seen on the comedy show

Kapil Sharma’s comedy show will soon see a new twist as Ek Number manas Ajaz Khan will land up on his sets to loot the Sharma family. In the upcoming episode of Comedy Nights with Kapil, the host and his family will open a bank with their neighbour’s money deposited in it. While Kapil plans to loot his own bank, Ajaz will instead do it first thus leaving Kapil empty handed.

Confirming the news Ajaz said to a leading daily, “I had a great time shooting for it. The storyline is that they (Kapil and his family) open a bank and deposit a lot of money — their and their neighbour’s — in it. Kapil then hires a thief to rob the bank, but another thief, played by me, lands up there. I end up looting the family.”

Buzz suggests that Ajaz was not satisfied with his character in the show as he felt it’s too small. The Bigg Boss 7 contestant then spoke to Kapil and added a few more lines for his character. While Ajaz is known for his antics, Kapil’s sense of humour is widely appreciated. We are sure this lethal combination will be used to its’ optimum in the show.

The actor will play a cricket coach in his new TV show

Anuj Sachdeva has been away from television for a while now. The actor recently did a small role in Amole Gupte’s Hawaa Hawaai and was last seen on TV in Chhanchhan. The show went off air last year and since then this young actor has been away from the small screen.

However the actor will soon return to the small screen and will be seen doing a TV show with producer Rajan Shahi. Anuj will be seen playing a cricket coach in the show. The lead protagonist aspires to be a cricketer, though he couldn’t fulfill his dreams and hence becomes a cricket coach in school. There he would meet a girl who will inspire Anuj to follow his dreams. This fiction show will be a love story revolving around Anuj’s passion and dreams.

Though Chhanchhan didn’t woo the audience, we hope the new show helps Anuj salvage his television career.

It’s a going to be blend of comedy and crime this weekend

For the first time, two shows from two different channels are coming together. Sony TV’s popular crime show, CID will join hands with SAB TV’s Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma.

ACP Pradyuman (Shivaji Satam), Sr Inspectors Daya (Dayanand Shetty) and Abhijeet (Aditya Srivastava) are going to solve another murder mystery and helping them in their case are Jethalal Champaklal Gada (Dilip Joshi) and his wife Jethalal Champaklal Gada (Disha Vakani).

Dayaben finds ACP Pradyuman’s wallet of  on the road and brings it to the CID bureau. The cops are stunned to find out that its a fake ID and immediate start investigating only to find that the person carrying the wallet is killed in hospital. Amidst all this, ACP Pradyuman goes missing. The cops suspect that something major is taking place and or someone is getting a plastic surgery done to replicate the ACP’s face. Dayaben is in danger and is kept in CID bureau while the inquiry continues. But to her shock one of the suspects turn out to be her husband Jethalal himself!

A source informs us that the decision was made to introduce a new genre on the channel. The episodes, which will go on air on Friday and Saturday, will follow the same pattern for two weeks in a row. The makers promise to keep their audiences on the edge of the seats and roll on the floor with laughter at the same time. Wethnks it’s a very interesting mix, no?

Week 5 on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7, Sophie Choudry – the pout queen of B’town is dancing on Meethi boliya from Kai Po Che. Dressed as a fish, Sophie has a pout throughout her performance along with her choreographer Deepak. Manish Paul pulls Sophie’s leg and requests her to teach him how to pout. Ms Choudry claims that no one can pout better than Karan Johar.

However, fun starts when Manish asks judge Remo D’souza to pout for the camera. No matter how hard he tries, Remo just can’t seem to get it right. Well we agree with Sophie, Karan definitely knows how to pout, even Madhuri can’t match up to it. Well after seeing this, we are sure you all are trying to put your lips together and pout – we certainly did.

According to highly placed sources the channel wanted the story to be taken to a new level as the existing plot was getting saturated. And for that Rashmi Sharma Telefilms had proposed a big fat 20 years leap

The news that the hit Star Plus show Saath Nibhana Saathiya might go off air is already out . However we now get you the real reason why Star may have decided to take off a show which is doing so well on the ratings front.

Readers will remember Saathiya had taken a small leap a while back, speculations were rife that the show’s leads Mohammad Nazim, Devoleena Bhattacharjee and Vishal Singh had resisted a big leap and a compromise was reached on a smaller leap. Vishal had said then that he was fine with minor ageing, but he will never agree to big leap.

But now it seems the creative had asked for a big leap and the trio simply refused to budge. Hence the channel might take the show off air . We at BollywoodLife spoke to Nazim, he said,“The show is not going off air and whatever you say is all wrong .” Devoleena did not respond to our sms . Vishal too brushed aside all rumours suggesting the show will be laid off, “Why should we go off air when we are number two on the ratings charts.”

When asked about the leap issue he says,“ We have not heard about any leap. It might happen after a few months if the channel decides, but the show will not go off air for sure.” When asked point back, will he be ready to be a part of the leap, he quipped ,“ I have not yet thought about it and will cross the bridge when I come to it. ”

We also unsuccessfully tried to touch base with producer Rashmi Sharma and Star Plus . However from what Vishal said wethinks that the trio might eventually agree for the leap and the show will go on… What do you think BollywoodLifers?

There’s a new guest on the dance reality show, who comes as a big surprise for everyone

This week on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7, Vidya Balan is coming to promote her movie Bobby Jasoos as Palak’s (Kiku Sharda) doppelganger.

Manish Paul and Ranvir Shorey are stunned to see two Palaks, when they enter the stage. They decide to figure out who is the real one by giving them challenges. Palak does her signature step and asks her lookalike to copy it. Her duplicate also grooves like the Jhalak contestant confusing everyone. Frustrated with all the chaos, Palak and her lookalike start fighting with each other.

Finally the judges intervene and stop them. That’s when it is revealed that the duplicate Palak is actually Vidya Balan in disguise. While it was funny to see the two Palaks banter, we must commend Ms Balan for aping the character so beautifully.

The Savdhaan India actor is all set to be back in films

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh, who is making a comeback to films with Hate Story 2 after a gap of two years, says he was worried to play a larger-than-life villain in the revenge drama. The Legend of Bhagat Singh actor said his style of acting is different from the role offered to him in the sequel of the 2012 film of the same name.

“I have played negative characters many times in the past but they were mostly grey shaded. But my role in Hate Story 2 is completely dark and you have to play it loud too. I was sceptical initially to take up the role because my style of acting is subtle. But direction and script helped me a lot to prepare for the role,” Sushant told. Being directed by Vishal Pandya, the film also stars newcomers Surveen Chawla and Jay Bhanushali in prominent roles. The reboot is expected release on July 18.

Sushant, 44, says the film has got no connection with its prequel. ”Apart from keeping the theme of revenge intact in the script, the characters and story is completely new and fresh. No character in the film is reprising the previous role.” Sushant started his career in showbiz with 1998 critically acclaimed film Satya followed by Kaun, Jungle, 16 December among others. The actor has always stayed away from out-and-out commercial films. ”I think I am a misfit in a comedy and romantic film. I feel I have an image of a serious actor. But that doesn’t mean I looked down at commercial films. They are the biggest entertaining films,” he said.

The actor, who is currently hosting TV show Savdhaan India, says he is not quitting the crime show for films. ”I am continuing the show. I am not quitting it to concentrates on films. It is not a daily soap. It’s a weekly show which I can manage with my film shootings. Moreover, the channel also wants me,” he said.

Sushant is sporting a clean shaven look on the show these days and the actor says his new get-up is for Neeraj Pandey’s upcoming film with superstar Akshay Kumar.”I can’t talk much about the film. I am playing an important role in the film along with Akshay Kumar. I was quite bored with my moustaches and was waiting for someone to tell me to shave it up,” he said.
