TV heartthrob Karan Kundra has claimed to be single, however a source says that this dude is already engaged to his long-time girlfriend Aanchal Singh a stylist from Delhi. That’s not it, our khabroo revealed that the roka ceremony between the two lovebirds took place in March.

The couple has just returned from a holiday in Beneras. And Karan even posted picture of him and TV actor Arjun Bijlani who he bumped into in the holy city on Twitter . It is heard that Karan introduced Aanchal to Arjun as his fiancé from Delhi. The above picture you see was put by by Aanchal as her Whats App DP (Display Picture), but she subsequently removed it.

While there is romance brewing between Vivek (Vimarsh Roshan) and Sanchi (Roop Durgapal), Vivek’s younger brother Saurabh (Sonal Handa) is planning to create a wedge between the two love birds. In yesterday’s episode Sanchi called Vivek and asked him to come return home within half an hour. Saurabh overhears Sanchi’s conversation with Vivek and decides to come up with an evil plan. He wears Sanchi’s perfume with an intention to make Vivek believe that he is having an affair with her.

When Vivek reaches his house, Saurabh greets his elder brother at the door. Vivek has a whiff of Saurabh’s perfume and recalls that the same aroma is donned by Sanchi as well. This incident creates a suspicion in his mind.

Meanwhile, Subhadra (Sushmita Mukherjee) throws tantrums at the medical centre where she goes for her skin treatment. A nurse requests Subhadra for mud bath, which she out blindly refused to take. However after repeated coaxing, Subhadra followed the doctor’s instructions and takes the mud bath. Later Dadi Sa (Surekha Sikri) visits Subhadra at the medical centre only to realise that Shiv’s (Siddharth Shukla) bua has eloped from the centre.

In the last episode we saw Anjali (Geetanjili Teekekar) and Aastha (Shrenu Parekh) fooling Niranjan (Manish Wadhwa) by playing a little game with him. Anjali acted pissed off with her parents in front of Niranjan and made the whole act believable with her emotions and drama. She pretended to throw them out of the camp on the grounds that they were disturbing everyone around by making a ruckus. The whole false sequence was carried out by Anjali in order to make Niranjan believe that she was on his side, when in truth she isn’t. Shlok (Avinash Sachdev) and Aastha on the other hand continued their tactics to deliberately irritate one another. Shlok was seen pouring water on Astha’s side of the bed which she ignored and slept on the bed anyway. The episode had ended with Aastha getting furious upon finding that that Shlok had sprawled her beautiful sarees on the floor.

In the upcoming episode, we will see Shlok witnessing a shock upon learning that the entire incident which happened the previous day, was an act carried out by Anjali and Aastha. He was disturbed to learn that the so called old people that they were seen supporting before, were mere actors donning a disguise. Astha on the other hand will not hold back in telling Shlok the truth about Niranjan. She will tell him about his dirty deeds and the ill ways in which he treats Anjali. Shlok upon knowing this gets shattered and infuriated.

She tied Radha on to the chair. Radha begged her to let her go but Tripti did not give in and asked Radha to bear the entire torture. She was seen putting Radha through hell for snatching Umang from him, which shocked Radha. Tripti was seen revealing the fact that Umang was her husband and she was Radha’s sautan. The episode ended on a nail biting twist with Tripti asking Radha for her last wishes and granting her five minutes to sum it up.

In the upcoming episode, we will see Gopi (Devoleena Bhattacharjee) getting tensed as she isn’t sure whether she will be able to prepare Meera for the test to get admitted in the school. Kokila will give back the keys to Rashi as she will plan to seek the truth from Rashi and make her accept the same.

We all know Kapil and YRF have parted ways and that the former won’t be making his acting debut with Bank Chor. But was this spilt coz of the stand-up comedian’s popular TV show Comedy Nights with Kapil? Read on to know

Kapil Sharma had signed three-film contract with Yash Raj Films and was all set to make his big Bollywood debut Y Films Bank Chor. However, yesterday news about Sharma’s association with YRF going kaput grabbed headlines and shocked many. Though the official statement issued by YRF claimed it was a mutual decision, Kapil may have been ousted from the film coz he was postponing project. A source told a leading tabloid, “The film was slated to go on the floors in April, but Kapil kept delaying it as he wanted to build a bank of episodes of his show and get in shape for the film.”

If this grapevine is true then the show that has made Kapil Sharma a household name indeed cost him his debut film. Sad na? However, hush hush whispers in B-town also suggest that many B-town beauties were approached to play the female lead however no one agreed to do the film and hence Kapil was shown door. Rumours are rife that Nargis Fakhri was one of the heroines who said no to the film citing date issues.

Another reason why things didn’t work out between Kapil and YRF is coz the latter’s behaviour had changed suddenly. Well, that’s what the media reports claim. “He was quite excited about the project and had even suggested a few changes in the script. This could also be one of the reasons why the film deal hasn’t worked out. Moreover, the controversies surrounding Nargis and KRK brought in negative publicity for the film,” said another source to the tabloid.

Well, until the real reason is known, wethinks this speculation game will continue.

Star Plus is launching a new show based on the aviation industry

The first look of Miditech’s Airlines Har Udaan Ek Toofan is out and it looks promising. Bollywood actor Tulip Joshi of Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai and Matrubhoomi fame is making a foray into telly land with this project.

Tulip will be seen playing a woman, who enters the aviation industry against all the odds of life. In a world dominated by men, Tulip tries to make her mark and sustain her term. If you remember, some years ago, there was a show called Saara Akaash, which also revolved around the same industry. The show was path-breaking and created history. Let’s hope this one does so too.

While Airlines has a backdrop of aviation, it is also a love story. We just hope the makers balance the drama well between the two plots. The first look of the show has Tulip Joshi in her uniform – and she looks perfect.

The makers have apparently kept a bank of episodes ready for the channel. Let’s hope they manage to meet our expectations. Fingers crossed!

The Kapoor lad performs on his grandfather’s hit number Mera joota hai Japani

Armaan Jain and Deeksha Seth recently visited the sets of Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega for promoting their film Lekar Hum Deewana Dil. Armaan and Deeksha made a startling entry on a bike and performed on Raj Kapoor’s hit number Mera joota hai Japani. Known for its unique performances, Armaan and Deeksha were amazed by the sheer talent on the reality show. Sources confirm that the debutant actors had a blast shooting for the episode.

Meanwhile, makers of this talent show has dedicated an entire episode to acts which would attempt to break the existing world records. From maximum number of kathak spins to singing in 21 different languages, EKLBK will attempt to break all these world records. However the highlight of the show will be a daredevil fire performance by participants Ravi and Ramesh.

Well Armaan and Deeksha have promoted their film on almost all reality shows, however with the film already released it is now to see if their hard work will bear fruits or not.

RJ Malishka: This would be Malishka’s second appearance on a reality show after Zee TV’s Connected Hum Tum. Now we know that the RJ has a quirky sense of humour and the gift of the gab. But will she do justice to the dancing shoes? Considering she is on the heavier side, maybe Savio, who was Kritika Kamra’s choreographer, can team up with her to showcase some interesting performance. After all he already has the experience, right.

Kushal Punjabi: We believe dancing for this actor would not be that difficult. Besides being a dancer, the actor has even acted as a choreographer in his daily soap, Aasman Se Aage. Considering he is the only dishy dude among the six contestants, we think he has a good chance of making it.

Kainaat Arora: It’s not easy to get the sizzling actor of Grand Masti fame out of your mind once you see her. Her sex appeal can easily sway the judges’ votes to her. Unfortunately for her, Remo D’Souza, Madhuri Dixit-Nene and Karan Johar are very strict this year. With such odds, guess Kainaat will have to rely purely on her dancing skills.

Rahul Vaidya: He was the third runner up in first season of Indian Idol. Rahul has been trying his hand at acting and doing music videos, now he is roped in to dance. We are not so sure of his dancing skills, but rumours suggest that the singer is quite a charmer. So if Rahul manages to clear the wild card round, it wouldn’t be too tough for him to garner votes.

Tara-Jean Popowich: She was the winner of season two of Canada So You Think You Can Dance. Now if reports are right, there has been some uproar over the international dancer participating in the reality show. Well if Shakti can participate, so can Tara-Jean, right? Frankly, with her dancing skills she has all the chances of bagging a spot in Jhalak.

Akriti Kakkar: She is the second singer among all the wild card entrants. Akriti recently lent her voice for the song Iski Uski from 2 States and Saturday Saturday from Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. There is ideally no information anywhere about her dancing skills, so we’ll just cross our fingers and hope the singer delivers a decent act on the Jhalak stage.

The hot and sexy Kishwar Merchant is quite happy with her character in Star Plus show Ek Hasina Thi. After all, her character of Raima is not ordinary. She is complex and layered. Kishwar clearly doesn’t relate to her EHT role, and even confirms this when she says, “Raima Maheshwari is a feisty lady. At one time she is having a torrid affair with her best friend’s Sakshi (Simone Singh) hubby and at the same time she is also helping her out. We have shot scenes where she and Rajnath Goenka (Ayub Khan) are making out in the farm house and Sakshi calls and how Raima takes her calls. At first I was bit scared when I was offered this character but now I am enjoying it. I don’t know how woman in real life can pull of such charades, it is so not me .”

This babe might not understand the reason for her show is not doing well on TRP charts, however she’s one of the rare kinds who doesn’t mind admitting and even discussing it. She says, “That is what we keep talking about on set. Most of our friends in the industry watch Ek Hasina Thi. We also get lots of positive feedback on social media from fans saying that they love the fast paced plot. so I don’t know why we don’t rate. May be our show is more massy as opposed to classy. ”

She does not think that the channel will pull of the show before it’s scheduled one year run,“ I think we are doing very well.”

Besides Ek Hasina Thi, Kishwar is also doing Akbar Birbal on Big Magic. And she’s thrilled to experiment on screen, “Till now I have always said no to historical but I said yes here for two reasons, a it is a historical comedy and the second the entire Anarkali get up is fun.”

The actor points out that as opposed to Ek Hasina Thi, her other show Akbar Birbal is doing very well on the ratings front ,“We have reached 0.35 TVR which is very good for a new channel like Big Magic.”

Well, we hope this sexy lass even manages to find success in both her shows in the coming days.

Aaliya has been trapped in Surraiya’s ill plans

The most dreaded moment of Colors Beintehaa is finally here. On Surraiya’s (Suchitra Pillai) insistence, Zubair (Mohit Malhotra) has finally accepted his love for Aaliya (Preetika Rao). Zain (Harshad Arora) is shocked at Zubair’s sudden change in attitude towards his lady love. In yesterday’s episode, Aaliya goes to Rehaan’s (Nandish Sandhu) house to offer Iftari. Rehaan indirectly taunts Aaliya on her alleged relationship with Zubair, which Aaliya fails to understand. When the lead female protagonist asks for an explanation from Rehaan, Zubair interrupts their conversation and takes Aaliya away.

Later Zain tried to call Aaliya and Zubair but their phones were constantly unreachable. After a while Zubair enters Zain’s house with an unconscious Aaliya in his arms. When Aaliya regains her consciousness Zubair tells everyone that they wanted to spend some quality time with each other. Aaliya is shocked with Zubair’s lie and asks him to say the truth. Zubair said that he loves Aaliya and had a liking for her since childhood.

The telly actor is venturing into direction

Actor Rohit Roy, who directed a short film Rice Plate as part of the 2007 release Dus Kahaniyaan, is set to adapt author Madhuri Iyer’s book Manhattan Mango for a film.

Rohit was present at the launch of the book Friday, and he spoke of his plans.

“We are already working on the screenplay adaptation of this book,” the 45-year-old said.

Manhattan Mango is about three men and their life in and around New York.

“I believe the story of this book is apt to be converted into a film. We are working on that,” he added.

Besides that, Rohit is also working on another directorial venture under his banner Magic Works.

Talking about it, he said that it is an urban script that talks about today’s youth.

“It is a very urban script. It is a film about today, it is about youth. Of course it has got the usual doses of romance and other such stuff. But it is premature to talk about further details,” said the actor, who has been part of many TV shows like Kkusum, Milan and Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein.

The small time actor has slapped charges on Timmy Narang for allegedly molesting her

After Preity Zinta and Ness Wadia‘s controversy, yet another case has emerged in B-Town. Actor Pooja Misra has charged Isha Koppikar’s husband of molesting her in an isolated spot in Pune.

She has accused the actor’s husband and his brother of making false promises of offering her a lead role in a film and then molested her twice. She feels threatened for her safety and alleges that her social media accounts have been hacked into to keep an eye on her.

She also claims that the brothers have also hypnotised her and done things which she did not remember the next day.

Pooja claims that the two brothers offered her a lead role in a film and then molested her at an isolated place in Pune.Pooja also says that she has been molested twice by the brothers and was afraid for her life till she finally decided to lodge a complaints.

Timmy and his brother have been charged under sections 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 506(2) and 34 (common intention) of the IPC.

Ashavini and Shravan were chosen as the contenders for the position of the king in Splitsvilla by girls, on the basis of their last week’s performance. The two celebrity boys were seen competing in a strenuous task which required them to shoot arrows to get the perfect mark followed by breaking down a brick wall to get to the other side of the field. Shravan played well and emerged as the deserving king of the villa.

They got dumped, they were stumped

Splitsvilla 7 witnessed its first dumping ground in today’s episode and the highlight of it was the big fight that broke out between the celebrity boys. The fairytale land of Samode palace saw a shocking twist in the tale with the book of fortune stating that seven girls would be dumped by the king. However Sunny Leone and Nikhil Chinapa turned the tables around by giving the boys an opportunity to save their choice of contestants. Instead of seven two girls were seen leaving the show. Well looks like Sunny was a hot superwoman to the rescue eh?

The Bad

Shravan the “Mad King”

Shravan with his kingly air failed to impress and faced the wrath of the villa for the same. He was seen dumping Sanjana along with implying that she was a lady with a questionable character. Shravan’s reasoning certainly brought on a lot of finger pointing along with him being termed as the “mad king.” Sanjana on the other hand was visibly distressed and called him “the most disgusting man she has ever met.”

When Ashvani missed his mark

The episode witnessed a hilarious point where Ashwani was seen repeatedly missing his mark on the score board where he was supposed to plant an arrow with his draws. His arrows were flying all over the place and the failed attempt made him lose his brownie points. The lad further disappointed when he failed to break the wall and get to the other side. The popular chefs had quite a crazy time with Bittoo Sharma and his mad family

We have seen several B-town celebs right from Amitabh Bachchan to Shah Rukh Khan to Salman Khan promoting their films on Kapil Sharma’s popular show, Comedy Nights with Kapil. But yesterday’s (June 6) episode of India’s most loved show was quite unusual for it didn’t feature any celeb from the tinsel town. In fact, there were nation’s two most popular chefs – Sanjeev Kapoor and Vikas Khanna who spent their time with Bittoo Sharma and his crazy mad family. And obviously, food was the main topic of discussion throughout the episode with the flavour of comedy, of course.

Both Sanjeev and Vikas talked about their journey from being no one to being the master chefs. While Bittoo’s wife Manju (Sumona Chakravarti) had a quality time with Vikas, Dolly Daadi (Ali Asgar) doled her signature shagun ki pappi to the duo of chefs. That’s not all. We also witnessed a cooking competition between Bittoo and his neighbour Palak (Kiku Sharda). So who won this cooking battle, you ask? Well, we aren’t telling you that. Watch the show to find out.
