Kiku has been slapped with a legal notice. But why?

Kiku Sharda, who has won millions of hearts with his portrayal of Palak in Kapil Sharma’s popular show Comedy Nights with Kapil has got himself in a legal trouble. Yes, Kiku has been slapped with a notice from the makers of FIR, a TV show through which he first came into the limelight and has been a part of since eight years.

Reportedly, Kiku wasn’t able to give time for FIR. Let us tell you that the actor has been shooting for three shows including CNWK, Akbar Birbal and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7. So because of his choc-a-nloc schedule, Sharda wasn’t able to shoot for FIR, which irked the producer Binaifer Kohli, who the matter to the producers’ union, which asked Kiku to give time to FIR. And Kiku has now agreed to shoot.

While talking to a leading daily, Kiku said, “Yes, I will resume shooting for FIR this month. I requested them for a three-month break because of the dance reality show, but I guess they aren’t comfortable with me disappearing for that long. I am tied up because of Jhalak and have been rehearsing at nights. In fact, I sleep hardly for four hours a day and it’s taking a toll on my health. However, FIR has become bi-weekly and so, it wouldn’t require much time.”

Well, as they say all’s well that ends well.

The Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania actor might soon be seen having a tete-e-tete with Anupam Kher on the chat show

Varun Dhawan is known to be charming among his female fans but very few know that the Main Tera Hero actor has a good heart as well. He is one of those Bollywood stars whose humility really surprises when one comes across the same.

The actor was seen urging fans to watch The Anupam Kher Show which starts tonight. Varun tweeted, “#TheAnupamKherShow starting tonite on @ColorsTV at 8pm. No business only heart” To this Anupam Kher replied, “You have a beautiful heart ” The actors have worked together in Main Tera Hero. Varun Dhawan will soon be seen on the show with his father David Dhawan who is also close friends with Kher.

It came as a shock for us to see the actor in the bottom two with Sukhwinder Singh in the 5th week of the dance reality show

It’s been five weeks since Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7 started and Mouni Roy has been giving some amazing performances till date. However, Mouni’s last week’s performance did not seem to impress the junta enough.

The actor was truly shocked to see herself in the danger zone and so were we. In week three, Mouni and her choreographer Punit did the contorted tandav and wowed the judges. She scored a perfect 30 for her act. In week 4, Mouni did a freestyle dance as a doll. While the act was tough and interesting, the actor did not manage to get a full score. But we still didn’t expect to see the contestant in the bottom two with the least number of votes; after all she is quite popular in telly land, no?

Mouni did a dramatic act this week and scored 30 from the judges again, but will she be lucky enough to garner ample votes as well? Guess that only time can tell.  In the last episode, we saw Shlok (Avinash Sachdev) witnessing a shock upon learning that the entire incident which happened the previous day with Anjali (Geetanjii Teekekar) and Aastha (Shrenu Parekh) was an act carried out by the two. He was disturbed to learn that the so called old people that they were supporting before, were mere actors donning a disguise. Astha on the other hand did not hold back from telling Shlok the entire truth about Niranjan (Manish Wadhwa). She was seen telling him about his dirty deeds and the ill ways in which he treated Anjali. Shlok upon knowing this was shattered and infuriated.

In the upcoming episode, we will see Niranjan seeking revenge from Aastha for revealing the truth to Shlok. To keep Shlok on his side and not lose the game, Niranjan will be seen teaching Aastha a lesson. What will he do?

In the last episode, we saw Durga(Sanjeeda Sheikh) coming face to face with Shekhar, with Raima(Kishwer Merchantt) and Sakshi (Simone Singh) keeping a close watch on whether Durga recognises him. Shekhar however continued to believe that the Durga he knew was very different from the one he just met and asked Sakshi to give him one more chance. Durga on the other hand was seen instructing Akash to find out more about Shekhar. Dev(Bhuvnesh Mann) in the meanwhile received an anonymous call from a man claiming that he knows about the Payal rape case, a trap set by Shaurya (Vatsal Seth) . Dev was seen leaving to meet this person and on his way he meets with an accident.

In the upcoming episode, Shaurya will reach home and will fake concern over Dev’s accident. He will be shocked to know that Dev is alive and well. Rajnath(Ayub Khan) will notice Shaurya’s uneasiness and will suspect him for being the reason behind Dev’s accident. Dev on the other hand will question the fate of his accident on whether it was planned or plain tragedy. Durga and Sakshi will learn that Dev was heading towards Bishnupur when the accident took place, and will suspect him of digging out information regarding Payal’s case.

Competition is getting tougher and the names who land in the danger zone seem to keep shocking us

We were stunned to see good performers like Sophie Choudry and Mouni Roy in the danger zone ‘coz of lack of votes. But then again, this is an unpredictable platform and anyone can be ousted anytime. Even judges – Madhuri Dixit-Nene and Remo D’Souza agree that staying on Jhalak doesn’t only revolve on being good dancers. Audiences’ votes can make or break anyone’s winning streak, right?

Well after seeing Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7 for five weeks, we believe Karan Tacker and his firang choreographer Elena has a very good chance of being in the danger zone this week. We know and the judges agree that Tacker is putting more than 100 percent in his performances, but his choreographer needs to be more innovative and creative.

After performing for five weeks, Karan has only managed to garner 130 points in total, which makes him the least scorer among all the contestants on the show. So does that mean Karan will be in the danger zone next week? While we believe that could be the case, the junta is the ultimate decider. If Karan manages to garner enough votes from his fans, he could even be safe. Fingers crossed!

Model-turned-actor Arpit Ranka, who essays the role of Duryodhan in Mahabharat, has been shooting for the mythological drama series despite suffering from a swollen knee

After experiencing acute pain in his knee, doctors were called from Arpit’s hometown Jaipur as well as Mumbai, who diagnosed him with knee effusion and advised complete bed-rest for three weeks.

However, the actor, who is shooting the war sequence these days on the sets in Umargaon in Valsad, Gujarat, refused to take a break from work. ”We are in our last leg of the show and this is the biggest high point. I can’t let my production and channel suffer because of me. As far as my injury is concerned I can always take a rest once this show ends.

“Right now my focus is the war sequence and I want to give my 100 per cent,” Arpit said in a statement.

Mahabharat has been airing on Star Plus since September last year. The series also stars Shaheer Sheikh as Arjun, Pooja Sharma as Draupadi, Aham Sharma as Karna and Arav Chowdhary as Bhishma.

Bollywood actor Shirina Singh, who plays Pakhi in popular TV show Ek Mutthi Aasman, is all set to get an image makeover on the soap opera and will be seen playing a violent obsessive lover

Shirina said she took inspiration from actress Urmila Matondkar’s character in Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya.

“When I was told that my character Pakhi will turn into a psychotic lover, the first name which hit my mind was that of Urmila Mantodkar’s convincing portrayal of Ria Jaiswal in Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya,” Shirina said in the statement.

Shirina said it was not a cakewalk for her to play a grey character of a girl, who attempts to win the affections of her love Raghav Singhania (played by Ashish Chaudhry). ”Playing an obsessive lover is not that easy, I had to understand the complexities of the character as to what a person goes through when his love in not reciprocated in the positive manner so that I don’t end up overdoing the part,” she added.

The actor also added her own observation after reading the script for the Zee TV’s show. ”I tried to take a few cues from Urmila’s character to understand the role better but at the same time I added my own bit and the feedback from the creative team of the show has been positive so far. I am eagerly awaiting the audience’s reaction,” she said.

The Prince of Marwar has managed to enter Akbar’s fort

The war between Maha Rana Pratap (Faisal Khan) and Burga Khan has finally come to an end. Pratap celebrated his victory after killing Burga in the war. Despite his eventful win, Pratap does not demand superiority over Marwar. While Akbar (Vishal Jeth) was fuming over Pratap’s victory and plots against the prince, Maldev instigates Pratap to kill Akbar.

Akbar sends a warning message to Pratap in a blood soaked ball. The young warrior is livid with Akbar’s message and hence decides to barge in Akbar’s Alwar Fort and teach the Mughal king a lesson. Pratap hides under a cloth and enters the Alwar fort with his friends. He somehow manages to reach Haji Khan’s prison cell and assures Khan that he will rescue him very soon.

However, while the two are talking, Mughal soldiers identify Pratap and his friends and break into a massive fight. Pratap manages to escape the brawl and reach Akbar’s chamber. However the prince stops himself when sees Akbar offering namaaz.

The first trailer of Zee TV’s upcoming show is out

Ravi Dubey was last in news for his big fat wedding with Sargun Mehta. Well Ravi did host a few shows prior to that, but it’s not the same as doing a daily, right. The actor, who last played the lead on Sony TV’s Saas Bina Sasural, is back with another show.

This would be Ravi’s first serial post his marriage to Sargun Mehta. Nia Sharma and Ravi started shooting for Jamai Raja on April 27 and yesterday they released the first promo of the show. Helmed by Sagar Arts, the promo of Jamai Raja didn’t exactly impress us but guess this is just a teaser of the real trailer.

#There’s no doubt that Ravi Dubey is a fabulous actor. It is a delight to see him back on the small screen.

Normally daily show only centres around the leads, but here we have a truly ensemble cast and we all influence the life of the Ishita and Raman . This Ekta Kapoor production has been the second innings for most actors on our project be it me or the leads i.e. Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel.”

The actor who has portrayed negative characters on screen added, “Although that there is sizeable audience which loves stuff what we don’t like yet, if those some guys are also appreciating Yeh Hai Mohabbatein it shows that they too want change but not at the cost of entertainment. And our show has all the ingredients that a good concept needs. I would say that is a good bed time story for adults.”

So has the show affected the actor personally? “I would always laugh when other actors would talk about internalizing their characters but playing Mihika has brought about a positive change in me as well. She is so out there and will not take shit from anybody, I am becoming the same as well. Ekta chose for this for character saying that I perfectly fit the character. May be that is why she named the character Mihika as well.”

That’s not it Ms Verma also plans to anchor shows in the future,“People say that I am very confident. I am talking to Star for a few such projects.”

She is also game to do something like Bigg Boss, “I am totally Bigg Boss material. And main things since I don’t have any hidden skeleton in my closet I can freely entertain every body else.”

As for fiction she is happy with Yeh Hai Mohabbatein,“It would be tough to do something else as the bar has been set very high. Personally I would like continue with the positive vein I will leave behind negative avtar as people love me in the most as the good girl.”

They say a mother has the strength to forgive the worst of all crimes, but will Madhu let off Raja?

Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon has just got a month’s extension and the makers are trying to make the show as interesting as possible. But will it work in their favour or not remains to be seen. The current track in the daily soap has Madhu (Drashti Dhami) pregnant with Raja’s (Vivian DSena) child.

Madhu initially wants to abort the baby ‘coz she is pregnant post the rape incident and she does not wish to bear a child who would be a constant reminder of the incident. However, Madhu changes her mind and decides against it. Dauji (Ravi Khanvilkar) is thrilled with the news but when he hears Madhu’s conditions of bearing the child, he is shocked.

Madhu tells  Raja‘s family that she will give birth to a child only if they get Bhabhi, who is a widow, remarried. This comes as a big shock to the family, who are obviously very backward in their thought. However, Madhu finds her support in Raja.

In the upcoming episodes, Raja will take the onus of convincing Dauji to get Bhabhi remarried. But will this get him closer to Madhu? Well sources suggest that they may not get close just yet, but for the first time Madhu will thank Raja for his help. Guess that’s step one, right?

Ek Veer Ki Ardaas Veera is currently showcasing Baldev (Vishal Vashishth) and Veera (Digangana Suryavanshi) closeness. All this while Veera never responded to Baldev’s advances and maintained that she could never view him as anything other than her friend.

However, on their trip to Poland, Baldev took care of Veera, he nursed her when she fell sick, helped complete her tasks and more. Somewhere down the line, we believe Veera started developing feelings for him, but never let it show ‘coz she clearly didn’t understand it herself. During the Poland festival – Kupala Night, the duo danced together and that’s when Veera started feeling that her emotions towards Baldev are changing and it is more than friendly.

In the upcoming episode, we will see  Veera and Baldev leaving Poland to come back to Punjab. On her way back, Veera will put a padlock on Poland’s Tumski Bridge with Baldev and her name on it and throw the key in the river. Apparently, it’s a very popular tradition for lovers in Poland. So will Veera confess her feelings to Baldev? Well our sources inform that Veera will tell Baldev how she feels in Punjab, but the confession will not happen anytime soon.

We’ve seen how on son Aditya’s insistence Raman sided with his ex-wife, but will all that change in the coming episodes?

Raman (Karan Patel) and Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) had a confrontational moment. After which Ishita has realised that like Ashok had alleged her husband was indeed trying to protect his ex-wife Shagun (Anita Hassanandani). Having lost the challenge to Ashok wasn’t as much f a blow as losing trust in her husband. However after walking out from the pcnic spot with Ruhi, here’s what happens next on Yeh Hai Mohabbatein…Ishita is ready to take on Shagun in the court of law. But, Shagun is on a panic mode after receiving court summons from Ishita’s lawyer. Shagun barges into Raman’s office and in a state of panic reveals that it wasn’t her who did the accident.

Ishita also reaches Raman’s office as she has to get some form signed for Ruhi’s school. Raman wants to tell everything to Ishita, but Shagun insists on hiding the truth from her. An angry Mihir confronts Shagun for interfering in Raman’s life. Ishita doesn’t bump into Shagun, however later a situation arises between Shagun and her and the two meet in the lift.The lift gets stuck and Shagun taunts Ishita that her husband is siding with his ex-wife.

Shagun even adds that Raman and she will win the case. Ishita on the other hand tells Shagun that she is willing to take the case back if Shagun apologises, but Shagun dismisses it. When the lift door opens, Raman is standing there, he extends his hand to Ishita and makes Shagun even m,ore angry.

Ishita doesn’t take Raman‘s hand, instead Mihir helps her and tells her he is with her in this battle. Mihir confronts Raman about the same, however he rudely dismisses Mihir. Raman is very upset and hurt. And to find out what unfolds in tomorrow’s episode be right back here!

Channel V’s popular daily soap is gearing up for major dramatic sequences ahead

Sadda Haq is currently witnessing Randhir’s dilemma about falling in love with Sanyukta Agarwal (Harshita Gaur) – his arch nemesis. For a long time, he has been denying his feelings for her and calling it just concern for another classmate.

However, when Sanyukta leaves FITE, Randhir (Param Singh) realises that he cannot live without her. He comes to the conclusion that it is indeed love and he can no longer fight it.

In the upcoming episodes, Randhir will barge into Sanyukta’s room when she is getting ready for her engagement function. Sanyukta will be shocked to see Randhir there and order him to leave at once. But Randhir will refuse to go, unless she promises to call off the engagement. Suddenly someone will knock on the door, forcing Sanyukta to promise Randhir that she will do as he asks.

Well we know Sanyukta is strong, but is she strong enough to cancel her own engagement and disappoint her parents? We have our doubts. Rumour suggests that Randhir will decide not to go back to FITE without Sanyukta and will try to create problems for her at home.

The singer who was chosen as one of the wild card entrants on the dance reality show has been forced to back out at the last minute

Akriti Kakkar apparently met with an accident during the dress rehearsal of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7. It seems the singer was already suffering from a back pain, which she ignored in order to be a part of the show. However, during the rehearsals, she tripped on a sliding surface and hurt her tail bone.

Akriti was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where it was declared that she has injured her tailbone and has been advised strict bed rest. So does that mean Jhalak will bring in a new replacement for her? Well sources claim that it is too short a notice to find someone to take her place. Hence only five contestants will compete for the wild card entry slot –RJ Malishka, Kushal Punjabi, Rahul Vaidya, Tara-Jean Popowich and Kainaat Arora.

Akriti, who was looking forward to doing Jhalak was extremely upset. More because this was the comeback vehicle for her choreographer Jawed after five years. Awww…. Too bad!

The new trailer of Life OK’s upcoming show is out and we finally have a more detailed insight into what the show is all about

Laut Aao Trisha based on the international series, Missing may have the same subplot but the treatment is very different.

The story of the TV serial revolves around Trisha, who belongs to an affluent family. Trisha told her parents about a beach party she wanted to attend and has not been seen since then.

When Bhagyashree finds out that Trisha is missing from the party, she calls her husband played by Jai Kalra, who rushes to the scene. Together they try to find her whereabouts and the last place she was seen. They find her phone by the beach but there is no sign of Trisha anywhere.

As the cops are called to investigate the matter, ‘Trisha missing’ becomes grabs headlines. Sr Inspector (Eijaz Khan) warns the parents that finding Trisha would mean bringing a lot of skeletons out of their closet. But Trisha’s mother does not care about the family’s reputation, she wants her daughter back at any cost. Social networking sites, her friends and family start looking for her.
